Jame listened intently as the young headmistress gave her short speech on the upcoming year. Jame couldnt help but feel excited for the upcoming year. As the food appeared before them, Jame's stomach growled. Her cheeks became bright pink. "Hehe, guess I'm hungrier than I thought!" She said with a light giggle. Jame took her fork and poked at the chicken. "Yeah! Thats right Astrix."
Nik rested his elbow on the table, his clenched hand serving as support for his head. As the headmistress spoke, he felt himself growing sleepy. It had been the same old speech given every year and he was growing rather tiresome of it. In contrast to his stomach growling cousin, Nik wasnt all that hungry. As the food appeared, he reached for one of the deviled eggs. He raised his hand and opened his mouth to indulge on the appetizer. However, before the food even reached his mouth, it fell to the ground as he was startled. Nik felt Astrix's hand slap the back of his head rather roughly. It was a usual greeting for her and one that really got on his nerves. He sighed as he looked down at the wasted food. He turned around to face the mischievous blonde, "Hello to you too, Astrix."
Zenith sat down impatiently as the headmistress spoke. Instead of really paying attention to her since he has been hearing the same speech over a thousand times since the first time he has been welcomed to this school. "Jeez, she is still alive?" he thought. He looked at another student and snatched the fork away from him harshly as he began to poke the mashed potato, annoyed. He softly began to grumble and traced down the words "F**k you" and slide it down towards the fellow student he had snatched the spoon away from. He smirked and stared at him. "Merry Christmas, chump." With a snicker he suddenly heard a familiar voice from the other table...the Hufflepuff table. "Well what do you know?" He bit down his bottom lip with amusement but gently as he observed the cutie. "Jame Lee...my babe." In order for Zenith to grab her attention, he went ahead and grabbed a piece of chicken drum. He made sure if the headmistress wasn't looking annnnd the coast was clear! He went ahead and tossed the chicken drum, watching it bonk her head. "Score!" He said, chuckling deviously.

As the speech started, Ellis didn't pay attention. He has heard it so many times before that he knew it by memory.He looked up at Astrix when she said that he was just jealous."Oh please, You and i are like partners in crime. Ms. Cool girl" He said with a smirked.
When the food appeared on the table he smiled, He was quite hungry. He let go of Iris's hand and started eating. As they were eating a part of the speech got to Ellis.The headmistress mentioned the forbidden forrest. Ellis was the type of guy that loved to be in danger for some odd reason.You can say he looked pretty cool, Being very brave and intelligent. He remembered last year when He went to the forbidden forest. it wasn't as terrifying as people made it seem. Yet, thinking back at the forbidden forest made him remember a place similar, yet more dangerous than that. The chamber of secrets. Some people said it was a myth that they used to scare first years. Others just say it doesn't exist. This wasn't like the forbidden forest which was prohibited till a certain year. No, it was prohibited for EVERYONE.thats why He wanted to investigate it and check if its an actual place before he graduated.
At that moment, Ellis remembered something.... This was Nik's last year. He could use this excuse to try and hook everyone to com in, since they wanted to make his last year "Unforgettable".He leaned in."Say guys, Want to do something scary tonight? I mean we have to make Nik's last year worth while... Let's investigate the chamber of secrets. it will be fun. What do you guys say?" He whispered. He already knew that Astrix was going to say yes for sure. She loved all these scary things just like him. Yet, not for the same purpose.Ellis enjoyed the felling he gets when he's in danger, but Astrix.... Well she does it to just get in trouble.
he notices a flying chicken drum when all of a sudden it hits Jame on the back of the head. When he trys to find the culprit he notices it was Zenith and he sighes. "What a horrible way to flirt" he thought to himself as he let it slide so Nik doesn't notice it was Zenith.

Like the rest of her group,Adria didn't care about the speech. All she cared was about the amazing food of Hogwarts which she loved. She heard Jame's Stomach as it growled. "Someone sound's hungry" She giggled as all of a sudden her tummy growled as well and blushed bright pink. Well i guess i'm hungry as well! let's dig in!" She said as she started eatting.
As Ellis suddenly leaned in and whispered about plans for tonight, she started getting goosebumps. She was very protective of her friends and doesn't like when they get hurt. She wasn't a wimp, but i mean come one... she's a girl.Thinking about her friend's in that forbidden placed made her worried. " The Chambre of Secrets? .... But if the rumor is true... Then that place is really dangerous... Iwouldn't want you guys to get hurt.." She said with a worried face. She didm't much think of Ellis, Nik, and even probably Astrix getting hurt. But what about The newfound friend Iris and Jame. Not to mention herself.Yet she wouldn't forgive herself if they all went and something bad happens to them if she says no.. "Well... If you guys go, I'll go. Idon't want to be worried about you guys, so might as well come along." She said with a faint smile.
She heard a loud thup as something hit something, but could calculate what. "what was that noise?" she said as she kept eating.
Jame laughed along her friends at the Hufflepuff table while helping herself to some of the delicious food. She could hear Ellis talking about something in the background. The only things she could gather was: "Chamber of Secrets" and "Lets". Jame gasped while shaking her head in disapproval. "No..No. Nonono. We couldnt possibly..Its dangerous Ellis!!" Jame turned to Adria with a saddened look on her face. "Adria we cant go..its too much of a risk and besi--AHH!" Jame was caught off guard by a piece of chicken bonking her head. Jame frowned and turned around. "Hey! Who in the world..." Jame squinted her eyes and identified the culprit red-handed. It was the infamous Zenith Zolt, a Slytherin who had been picking on her since her first year at Hogwarts. "Thats not funny Zenith!!" She shouted at the top of her lungs and she rubbed the back of her head.
Nik shrugged at her statement concerning his social skills. "I'm not much of a social person with anyone." He said as he reached for another deviled egg and managed to put it in his mouth this time. He gave her a devilish smirk when she spoke about him missing her. "Well Ms.Coolest chick in the universe, what makes you think I would miss you out of all people?" he inquired. Of course, he would never admit what he would do on his late summer afternoons when Jame wasnt around. Nik knew very well that harboring lustful lewd feelings towards Astrix would do him no good, so he usually rid himself of the thought. "I'm fine. How are you? I take it you had a nice reunion with Jame."
━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━ Iris listened very closely to the same speech that she heard every year.. Though it kind of bored her, she still listened while everyone else seemed to be goofing off. She knew that the warmth of Ellis' hand in hers would not last much longer as the food became to come out, and she softly sighed when he pulled it away. She looked over at him and smiled as she began to eat. She could tell that something was on his mind.. It was none of her business though, and she wasn't much for invading privacy. So she just saw is better that she didn't ask. She stopped eating for a moment as Ellis began to talk away, and she looked over at him. It sounded fun.. And dangerous! 'Danger-schmanger..' she thought to herself. "I'm in" she said with a grin. Jame, the beautiful red-head didn't seem to like the idea though... Just as she was about to say something, a piece of chicken flew passed both her and Ellis and hit Jame in the back of the head. "What the..?" Iris said as she looked around. It seemed that he had already been caught, blue, green, red, and yellow handed though... "What a dickfa.." she said quietly as she looked at him. Unless of course he had just been flirting with the girl, after all, she was quite pretty so it did make sense. ━━━━━●━━━━━━●━━━━━
Zenith wanted to laugh so hard but just cannot due to the fact the headmistress will tell him something and Zenith wasn't up for some trouble...yet. "Shut it Jame! If you shout any longer looks like something else will clog your mouth for ya! If you know what I mean." Zenith began to chuckle, alongside with his other pals (refers to as his gang). Zenith then caught some girl staring at him. He stopped and squinted his eyes as he teasingly looked behind him and then back at her. "Did she lose something over here or...?" Rolling his eyes he sat right back down, smirking a bit of what Jame said. "What a maroon."

Cordelia walked into the great hall not knowing much of anything as usual. She had been taking her time to walking in the empty corridors, taking in the aged beauty of the castle. She began to sing a slow melodic Song That echoed off the walls in an eerie way. The house ghosts appreciated the music and often sung along with Cordelia. She had been doing this ever since her first year and has never tired of it. Cordelia found singing quite relaxing, She had even started a rumor of a ghost girl in one of the corridors well people thought it was the ghost of a girl who sang eerily in the night but it was just Cordelia and she decided to let the rumor stay until the truth came out. She took a seat with the other girls from her house. She sat next to Jame not speaking much words just listening to the conversation. After the sorting was done and she had gotten something to eat, Evangeline stood up from the Hufflepuff table. She usually was able to deal with the crowd and noise in Hogwarts, it was hard to avoid, but the first day always seemed to be the worst. She felt suffocated in the sea of students and it would only be worse when they all scrambled for the exit. It was always best to leave early for her which was what she was doing now. Luckily, she didn't get a lot of stares, most people were focused on their friends and food after all.

But sitting next to Zenith's means they were somehow acquainted.Yet, She could of sworn it wasn't the first time seeing him around school.

"Youre right..I'm not going to let him make a fool out of me anymore." That boy had always enjoyed seeing her get flustered. It was about time that she took a stand to her bully. After all, she knew Nik couldnt be the one sticking up for her forever. Jame grabbed a napkin and removed any left over crumbs from her face. "So..are you guys really going to the chamber of secrets...I think I would rather not.. I would probably just slow you guys down.." She admitted.
Nik let out a small chuckle. "Yeah, youre right." He admitted as he reached for a glass of water and drank. "I am getting rather old." He placed the glass back on the table and looked straight at Astrix, his eyes having a penetrating gaze.

Matty raised his glass and then slammed it back down on the table, kids around him beginning to cheer. After a few moments he looked over at the boy. "Hey there, don't think I've seen you around much" Matty said with a smirk. "So weird.. I usually am acquainted with everyone." he said as he shook his head. Zenith looked over at his best pal, Nicolas. "Shut it Nicolas. I would like to enjoy watching you throw a piece of chicken at your blondie." With a smirk he stared right at Adria and shook his head, knowing the fact she practically dislikes himself. He overheard what Jame responded. "Yeah sure whatever. Like I even care for such filth. And yeah, let's go!" From there, Zenith got himself up as soon as he spotted Astrix. He stride his way over to her as soon as possible when he grabbed her wrist and pulled her away from Nik. "And what the bloody hell do you think YOU are doing?Aren't you and I suppose to head on down the the chambers ourselves and not invite any idiots?" Okay wow...calm down Zenith....calm down. He sighed with disappointment and released her. "Anyways, I guess since I don't have anything better to do and since the headmistress talks an awful lot, I'll accompany you all." Oh boy...
