...well I have to redo this since Gaia decided to log me out whilst I was making this post...SO. Here we go again.
Chapter 6: Foreseer. Hate this chapter with a passion.
I screwed up pretty badly here, just made some poor decisions while being a tad too defensive after recruiting Gaius. Mistakes were made, decisions regretted. Turn Count: 7(bleh) Total: 33
Paralogue 3: A Strangled Peace. Not much to say here other than I HATE YOU VILLAGERS.
Nothing too interesting, got a couple of level ups, and saved the villager that gave a seraph robe and a log. ..I hate this chapter's AI...ugh. Took 8 turns, so freebie. Also got the Blessed Bow from the village so Virion is happy.
Chapter 7: Incursion. Or wherein Cordelia comes to warn us about reinforcements we never see.
Not nearly as bad as Chapter 5, the last time a Wyvern Rider was the boss. Everyone performed great, Virion caught up in levels thanks to sniping some fliers. Probably could have shaved off a turn here, but I didn't notice the last unit on the enemy team, so I had to take one more turn. Managed to avoid the reinforcements though, so yay! Turns: 4(seems to be a magic number with Wyvern Rider bosses eh?) Total: 37
Chapter 8: The Grimleal. AKA The Desert of Somewhat Suffering
So. Desert chapter. I got the Second and Master Seals, and they went to use. Sumia became a Dark Flier and Chrom became Cavalier. Let the movement shenanigans BEGIN. Anyways, not as bad as I thought. Nowi and Gregor were a huge boon, shaving off turns on the South end of the map. Gaius, Sully, and Virion mopped the top up pretty well, while Sumia, Chrom, Rebecca, and Stahl crashed through the bottom. Don't think I could've done anything really different here. Turns: 6 Total Turn Count: 43
Supports Chrom/Sumia: S(alright! One down!) Rebecca/Stahl: A Gaius/Sully: B Virion: Forever Alone....for now. BONUS: Gregor and Nowi actually got a support level from the one chapter, so yay for them...NOW GET ON THE BENCH AND GIVE ME YOUR STUFF.
Prologue: The Verge of History After waking up in a field, conveniently bereft only of her memories of the past and none of her skills or concern for the fact that her wings are entirely missing, Annis and Chrom get to work on killing some bandits! Frederick pairs up to Lissa so that, at the least, we can get her some support points from him when she can't heal anyone. (We'll get you to Lvl 10 soon, sweetie!) Turns: 3 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa
Chapter 1: Unwelcome Change After the unwelcome entrance of a bunch of Risen and the welcome entrance of our good buddy Marth, it's time to get down to business. Sully and Virion, upon their arrival, stay safely back and away from the action while Lissa grabs a shiny tile with Frederick in tow and... get a relationship buff. Dangit, girl, get some EXP! Annis and Chrom, meanwhile, slaughter anyone who so much as looks at them funny. Lissa's constantly unable to get close enough to heal Annis, but she'll get more EXP soon. Turns: 3 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa
Chapter 2: Shepherds After, once again, ushering all of my friends off to the corners so they can't get in the way (especially Vaike, gorramn man, how do you forget your axe when going into battle?), Annis and Chrom forge ahead to fight. Ignoring the event tiles this time, Lissa follows along to heal the two as they go, actually managing to grab some EXP for herself this time! Good job, kiddo. Chrom also finally gains some levels, too. All in all, it went very smoothly, especially once Annis swapped to the forefront in order to take out the boss more easily. Turns: 5 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa
Chapter 3: Warrior Realm Well, seems like we gotta knock some sense into Raimi. Given Annis' disposition, I think we're all too happy to oblige. This time, Lissa's support with Frederick is going to be minimized so that Frederick can forge ahead and slay his foes, while stepping carefully around the Hammer-wielding Fighter. Lissa can, meanwhile, heal for Annis and Chrom as they slay anyone who so much as looks at them funny. And Sumia, sweetheart, she... waits around and plays with flowers while everyone else handles the action. Bless you, honey. I still love you, it's going to be okay. Turns: 5 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa
Chapter 4: Two Falchions Easy enough, though the lack of healing for Lissa is never entirely fun. Frederick kept Lissa in tow while he cleared out some enemies down below, while Annis and Chrom charged Leeroy Jenkins-style up north. Granted, if that enemy Fighter at the end had hit Annis, I would have had to redo the chapter entirely, but the admittedly-reckless strategy ended up paying off. Hooray! I wish Frederick was a little speedier, though. You can only get away with one powerful blow for so long, buddy. Turns: 3 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa
Paralogue 1 - So lets see. Gotta get Donny. So that of course means to pair him up with someone defensive. VAIKE GET YER BUTT OVER HERE! He's the strongest. Babied him enough to get him the level he needed. And of course picked up the Killer Lance on that map. Will be a nice toy for Kellam later. Took 13 turns.

So I have no idea what I'm doing. And yet easy chapters come as harder, and harder come as easier. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!
ANYWAYS
Chapter 9: Emmeryn. Wherein feels begin intensifying.
HOO BOY. THAT BEGINNING. Such desert, low movement, very ANNOYING. after remembering that there were plains tiles on the right side, things went a LOT smoother, and Tharja was recruited successfully, and Campari dealt with. Chrom and Sumia's new looks were quite useful. No rapier=sadness though. Turn Count: 4! Total: 47
Chapter 10: Renewal. Wherein FEELS INTENSIFY YE GODS THAT MUSIC.
This chapter went surprisingly well. Got all the thief items except the seraph robe, which I'm not too worried about. Stahl became a Great Knight, and movement bonuses were had. Mustafa fell a turn after I wanted him too, due to uncooperative dual attacking. SIGH. RNG not on my side today! Turn Count: 5 Total: 52
Paralogue 4: Anna the Merchant. Ohai NPC. PLS heal me and help with keeping me not dead.
This chapter was another exp fest, helping me get Virion to level 10 for the next Second Seal. Acquired the Arms Scroll this chapter so Stahl now has access to both Javelins and Hand Axes. YES. Anna was kept an NPC, and that proved useful for late in the chapter when she healed Chrom to save his life. Yayyyyyy! Took 6 turns here, so no turns added.
Chapter 11: Mad King Gangrel. So. Showdown time.
Panicked because I thought it was a desert chapter and then remembered it was WASTE tiles. Anyways, Olivia arrives, and Dance Dance Revolution ensues. Shaves turns off like magic! Tharja and Virion proved their worth, and everyone basically had a lot of good stuff. Tharja promoted to Dark Knight post chapter, so yayyyyy horsey. Gangrel fell like a sack of potatoes to Chrom and Sumia's combined might. GTFO Gangrel. Avoided Northwestern Reinforcements thank goodness. Missed out on that speed wing but...eh. Oh well. Turn Count: 5 Total: 57
Chapter 12: The Seacomers. OHAI VALM. Right other continent riiiiiiiiight! WOOOOOOO VIRION GOT HIS SECOND SEAL. AND MATERIALIZED A WYVERN OUT OF HIS BUTT YEAHHHH. Anyways, easy chapter. Dalton where yo' golems at?! ...wait wrong Dalton. Stahl with his hand axe and javelin was as GIGANTIC help, basically soloing the left half of the map paired up with Rebecca. He now has Luna, who Morgan is going to appreciate VERY much. Sully promoted to Paladin and that's wonderful. Gave her a good boost of strength since she got badly STR screwed. Nothing really spectacular happened. Enemies came. They died. Level ups happened. All was well in the world. Bought two Master Seals post chapter, so Rebecca and Gaius have joined the ranks of the promoted! Turn Count: 5 Total: 61
Levels Chrom: Lv 14/10, 89 EXP Virion: Lv 10/2 WYVERN RIDER YEEEE 3 EXP Sully: Lv 16/1 Paladin, 47 EXP Stahl: 17/5 Great Knight, 83 EXP Sumia: Lv 13/5, 11 EXP Rebecca: Lv 20/1 Grandmaster(not a high priority to promote cause of sheer asskickery) 0 EXP Gaius: Lv 15/1 Assassin 0 EXP Tharja: 15/1 Dark Knight 26 EXP Olivia: Lv 2 19 EXP
Supports! Got all but one marriage so yay! Chrom/Sumia: S Rebecca/Stahl: S! YAY! Gaius/Sully: S YAY! Virion/Tharja: B Olivia: ...forever alone. Sadness.

Alrighty! I think I'm finally starting to get the hang of the draft mindset for FE13, and now that I know it, I think I might want to do the next one when/if it comes. Having a lot of fun with this! Annnnnyyywaaaaaave...
Chapter 13: Of Sacred Blood. Lucina Intensifies.
Speaking of getting the hang of things, thank goodness for actually noticing it's a BOSS KILL mission ye gods I am somewhat stupid. Sumia+Dancing=easy 1 turn, so I got some EXP for others before going up and beating the boss's face in. Skills Lucina came with: Aether, Rally Movement, Charm, Dual Strike+ Turn Count: 1 Total: 62
Paralogue 8: A Duel Disgraced. Oh hey look Armorknight. Totally not gonna be useful...right?
Right and now onto the first Child Paralogue! This one was a bit of a b***h, not gonna lie. Enemy reinforcements kept spawning in the hallways so that was annoying. Got Lucina few kills and her Rally Movement helped a lot. Took 9 turns so freebie here. Kjelle has joined the army, and probably won't be doing anything...yet. Skills Kjelle came with: Outdoor/Indoor Fighter, Movement+1, Defense+2
Paralogue 12: Disowned by Time. Ohai Morgan.
Right, fun times here. Morgan is a Cavalier, because lolStahlFather. Not much to say here, another EXP fest and everything is great. Including getting a Second Seal with Kjelle GLADLY took and vomited out a Pegasus. Riiiiiight...Logic. Morgan was recruited and kicked some butt, especially with a Levin Sword. Magic Sword FTW! Took 8 turns, so freebie again. Skills: Luna, Solidarity(PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE DONE VETERAN WHOOPS. Ignus won't be TOO useful for him...), Outdoor Fighter, Discipline.
Chapter 14: Flames on the Blue. Wherein millions of Valmese soldiers DIE HORRIBLY.
Right so another boss kill mission. You know what THAT means! This time with Rally Movement for EXTRA security! Got exp for Morgan, Kjelle and Lucina as well as a couple other people before horribly murdering Ignatius. GG General. Turns: 1 Total: 63
Chapter 15: Smoldering Resistance. Ohai Say'ri
...The beach tiles. Hatred. Loathing. ANGERRRRRR. Fairly standard Rout mission this. EXP abounds! Got a second seal for Lucina, so Cavalier over Peg simply because the Parallel Falchion is absolutely INSANE. ..I'm gonna regret this laterrrrrr...Beh. Things went well, RNG was in my favor with dual attacks. Yay. Mass EXP feeding to Sumia intensifies for Galeforce Cynthia. IT WILL HAPPEN I SWEAR IT. Turns: 5 Total: 68
Chapter 16: The Mila Tree. SEE HOW HIS MUSTACHE MOVES IN THE WIND!
Fun chapter. Seriously Cervantes is the absolute best. Even with Galeforce, I don't think there is a feasible way to 1 turn this chapter, and I don't have Galeforce unfortunately. Blegh. Anyways, Sumia and Chrom charged up the middle, whilst everyone else attempted to gain some EXP. Cervantes's mighty mustache could not save him. NOTHING WILL SAVE YOU. NOT EVEN BEING REINCARNATED BY SOUL-wait wrong Cervantes. Anyways, Tharja and Virion reached S Support this chapter! Yay! ...oh dear god Noire why. Also, Virion reached level 13 as a Wyvern Rider, and you know what that means? GRIFFON. Turns: 3 Total: 71
Next time, Noire's Paralogue, as well as probably up through the end of the Corporate Reign of Walmart-I mean Walhart!
On a side note: Since I'm not gonna be here tomorrow on the account of family...Merry Christmas folks, and in case I'm not here after that until family subsides, Happy New Year as well.
I wanted to name this "The Big Brother I Trusted and Followed to War Can't Get This Addicted to an SRPG Dating Sim and Commit Sexual Harassment" because of the Chrom-FMU supports but I didn’t want to kill the joke before I’d even started telling it.
Paralogue 1: Sickle to Sword It's really, really strange not recruiting Donnel, but oh well, we have bigger and better things to accomplish here. Lon'qu went south with Chrom while Annis went north to handle the enemies around the starting position. Lon'qu continued south while Chrom later joined back up with Annis in order to sweep around and kill off the Thief before he could plunder everything. Annis fried him after he claimed the Killer Lance, and then Lon'qu moved up with the other Chest Key to grab the Rescue. Will certainly come in handy later for Lissa...
Otherwise, it was a simple mission and we just swept around the battlefield to make sure everyone died while Donnel hung back and watched. Hooray! Turns:14 0 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon'qu
And Chrom and Annis achieved their A-support. You get that dumb muscle, honey. I've got to get Lissa to Level 10 faster, it'll be so much easier for her to get her supports with Frederick that way...
Also did a bit of shopping. Frederick really needs some long-range weapons, but there aren't any options for him yet. :T So I just forged Lon'qu a better sword so he can kill people more easily. Hooray for Chamomile the Iron Sword! It has 9 Mt and 12 Crit.
Chapter 5: Border Pass And now it's time to save Maribelle and Ricken. Honestly, the things Maribelle gets caught up in... This chapter actually took a lot of attempts to do more quickly; for a long time, every attempt of the chapter previously took 6 turns (or more), so I had to rework the strategy more than once. Eventually, the winning solution was to send Annis up north to kill everything, again! So original. Chrom stuck with her for extra firepower and extra Support bonuses. Lon'qu and Frederick, paired up to Lissa, went south in order to get rid of those enemies, then moved north with the others, with Frederick taking out a Brigand that chased after the fleeing Maribelle and Ricken. Otherwise, Annis and Chrom forged north to the central fort. Annis proceeded to get... a Superior Bow. Thanks, hon. Lon'qu took out the enemies to the right, while Maribelle parked it on the southern fort with Ricken, in case the enemies weren't taken out quickly enough. Thankfully that was not the case, and the chapter ended there with a lucky crit from Lon'qu taking out the eastern Wyvern Rider! Thank goodness for Myrmidons. Turns: 4 Heroes: Annis & Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon'qu
Paralogue 2: The Secret Seller And now we have to rescue a village being assaulted by our obligatory Gay Axe-Wielding Antagonists. Fun times! Good thing Victor and Vincent are two of the most entertaining enemies in the game if just by sheer force of personality. Annis and Chrom stuck behind to clear out the enemies in the starting area, and Lon’qu moved forward with Frederick and Lissa in order to forge into the thickest parts of the enemy lines, while Anna dodged a bunch of Archers and routinely killed off Brigands approaching the village. I’m still not sure how she did so poorly in dodging anyone on the first attempt of this chapter, including axe-wielders, but whatever. Eventually I managed to get Lon’qu and Lissa-with-Frederick up to the village with Anna alive, so Lon’qu moved to the east to take out the lone Brigand while Annis and Chrom did a merry dance up north so Lissa could get some extra experience healing Chrom (and Chrom even picked up a Micaiah’s Pyre for his troubles) before he finally put Victor out of his misery. Hey, I had the free turns to work with!
Turns:11 Heroes: Annis & Chrom (you shouldn’t be surprised at this point) Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu
Next time, Anna… Next time…
Also I bought two Javelins and a Hand Axe. I’ll be needing them later, I’m sure. And Chrom and Annis finally hooked up properly. Finally, no more dumb walked-in-on-you-naked jokes.
Chapter 6: Foreseer God, Validar is creepy and pointless.
Sent Chrom and Annis to the west to recruit Gaius, then handle the enemies that move north from that direction as they came, so they wouldn’t touch Panne, Gaius, or Emmeryn. Gaius did get that Secret Book, by the way. On the east side of the map, meanwhile, Frederick cleaned up enemies here and there while Lon’qu ran south to wipe out the enemies as he went. Lissa ran between the two to heal and use her last charge of Rescue for sweet, sweet extra EXPs. Hilariously enough, Validar ran away from Lon’qu and moved towards Chrom and Annis. I just sorta politely swapped to Annis, equipped her new Elwind, and plopped them down in his range while Freddy helped “Marth” handle enemies that were attempting to bust down the door instead of simply moving around and finding a completely open doorway. Why Emmeryn didn’t close her door, I’ll never know…
And Validar was made hella dead. It was awesome.
Turns: 6 Heroes: “Whose turn is it to see who naked this time” Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu
Total Turncount:
Man, Lucina’s cutscenes are all the best ones.
Also why does Panne’s idle sprite have her looking like she’s holding onto her boob? I’m aware she’s got her chin on her hand, which seems more like a Maribelle stance, anyway, but still, it’s not the first time I’ve looked at an FE13 sprite and misinterpreted it. (See: Me originally thinking Owain’s map sprite was a glitch and part of his face was animating away from the rest of it…)
Chapter 7: Incursion gosh I sure do love it when games introduce unimportant side characters to enact empty betrayals because they had no other way of progressing the plot otherwise
I just kinda had everyone go east. Lissa drew a lot of aggro for trying to heal Lon’qu, but Cordelia’s arrival helped stem the tides a little bit. Annis and Chrom just continued on east while Lon’qu and Cordelia took out the stragglers, and once again Annis’ magic saved the day. God, I love magic-users.
Turns: 4 Heroes: “I’m coming on like a wyvern in heat” Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia
And Emmeryn decides to go back to the capital. I love you, honey, but… there’s a reason why this part is titled as it is. At least you have the best music.
Also gave Lon’qu and Lissa a C-rank support because why not.
Paralogue 3: A Strangled Peace Joy to the world.
Chrom and Annis paired up, with Annis taking the rear this time, and moved south. Lissa hopped onto Frederick’s horse and went to the east, taking out units as best they could and actually keeping the three villagers all alive. For now. Cordelia and Lon’qu just sort of went south to the mountains to first take out Pegasus Knights, then basically everywhere else they were needed. Gorramn, am I glad to have a flier again. Frederick also had a level up of only +2 HP. That… okay, then. I actually managed to get all of the Villagers safely into the corner of the map for once, so that was a surprise. Once all the enemies but the boss had been cleared out, I took a few turns to get Lissa some experience with Heal spamming. Didn’t realize the boss would use his Elixir, though. Ah, well. Que será será.
Turns:11 0 Heroes: Lissa and Frederick Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia
*Confirmed by checking FEFB chatlogs. Thank goodness for AIM. Also don’t expect me to try to figure out average stats every time; I tried to create a spreadsheet this time out of curiosity, since average stats aren’t available on SerenesForest right now, and I’m not even sure if I calculated the averages correctly.
Chapter 8: The Grimleal I restarted this chapter multiple times before I settled on a strategy that would work; first attempt, I sent Cordelia to the northern-most village, before realizing that she would have been much better utilized down south. The rest of the strategy-changes ended up fine-tuning a general process of sending Annis and Chrom to the east up in the northern part of the map and Lissa and Frederick heading to the center, with Frederick wielding a Hand Axe to handle Dark Mages. He finally got Luna, too! I pretty quickly settled to using Gregor and Nowi during the chapter, as well, since they were in the thick of combat and could get the western-most village. A few opportune Dual Strikes really helped things. Cordelia and Lon’qu, meanwhile, wiped out nearly everyone that looked at them funny with Cordelia using a Killer Lance. After a restart that was instigated by forgetting to grab the southern-most village that followed many attempts that took 7 turns, I managed to clear the chapter with a lucky crit from Cordelia and a Dual Strike from Lon’qu when the final Barbarian tried to attack him.
Lon’qu and Cordelia obtained their C-rank support. Gregor and Nowi could get their C, but they don’t really need it and it doesn’t matter, anyway. Lissa also got my Second Seal to become a Pegasus Knight and Annis promoted to Grandmaster.
Chapter 9: Emmeryn Took a lot of finagling to get this right. Eventually the routine that worked was to send Annis and Chrom along the fort, where there was a little strip of Plains that I could follow, while Cordelia with Lon’qu and Lissa with Frederick moved along with her, helping to clear out enemies around Cordelia. This was the tricky part: I needed Cordelia to move in before Lissa, to clear out the rabble so that she could swoop in with Frederick, who could bring his silver hammer (bang bang) down upon Campari’s head. This involved moving in with a Javelin equipped, so as to be able to counterattack, and hoping that she could dodge a 40% chance for an archer with a Killer Bow to hit her and kill her nearly instantly. (I say nearly because given variable stats, sometimes the Killer Bow would deliver 30 damage and kill her outright, and sometimes it would do 29 damage and leave her at death’s door with 1 HP. None of the attempts that fell into the latter succeeded.) Eventually I managed to get it to work out through a combination of sheer luck and giving her a Seraph’s Robe before the battle. (Eh, Lissa will be fine, I’ll find one for her later, anyway, I’m sure.) Chrom and Annis spoke to Libra to recruit him while Cordelia finished off the rest of the opposing enemies with Lon’qu in tow. Gosh, I sure do love NPCs that will talk to you to be recruited when they don’t have anyone to attack and don’t need to heal themselves!
Paralogue 4: Anna the Merchant I actually had considerably less problems with this chapter than I thought I would. Finally, recruiting Anna! Feels so good to finally have a Lockpick unit again. Chrom and Annis moved up the center to reach Anna while Libra followed Lissa and Frederick along the western side. Cordelia and Lon’qu hung back a little bit to clear out the initial area’s enemies, then moved north towards Chrom so Cordelia could grab a Chest Key out of the convoy in order to help Anna out. Anna stuck back to grab the first chest while Cordelia and Lon’qu got the lone northern chest. Meanwhile, Chrom and Annis obtained a Glass Lance from the second event tile on the map (they got a Kris’ Confect from the first one earlier).
…or that would be the case if I hadn’t forgotten to unequip Chrom when surrounding Vincent so Anna could loot in peace and killed him, thus ending the map.
The major differences in the successful run were giving Libra a Hand Axe, giving Cordelia the Chest Key from the get-go, and giving her another Javelin (her original was down to 2 uses). She grabbed the lower chest, Lissa found an Orsin’s Hatchet from the northern-most event tile, and I remembered to bloody unequip everyone as necessary. I ended up corralling Vincent in one of the corridors, because I lured him out while trying to lure a Barbarian out. Eh, it all worked out.
Turns:10 0 Heroes: “we can fight together as long as I don’t get your girl cooties” Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna
And Frederick finally mustered up the courage to ask Lissa to marry him, and Lon’qu and Cordelia had some fencing lessons after Lon’qu realized how much s**t Cordelia does daily to keep all these diaper babies happy.
Chapter 10: Renewal And one of the only chapters that actually effectively combines story with gameplay. It almost makes up for a lot of the midgame’s weakpoints single-handedly.
Chrom and Annis moved along the south side, along with Cordelia and Lon’qu and Lissa and Frederick. Lissa eventually swooped north while Cordelia snagged a bunch of the Thieves before they could run away; between her and Anna, I managed to take down all of them. Anna also obtained some EXP from an event tile to the northeast. Lissa and Frederick took Mustafa down in the end, with most of their first strikes missing before Lissa hit a critical on the counter-attack, allowing Frederick to finish him off.
Turns: 4 Heroes: “cordelia you fixed the training weapons and washed towels and now are making dinner i suspect you are incapable of sleep” Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna
And now I’m more sad.
Chapter 11: Mad King Gangrel And now the entire first generation team is together. Chrom and Annis, Cordelia and Lon’qu, and Lissa and Frederick all headed south after some pleasantries with Gangrel, while Anna moved south-west. Libra paired up to Anna, then Danced for her so Anna could move further. Cordelia took out the Sage easily to get the Spirit Dust, then kept moving down. Lissa and Frederick darted in to take care of the Hero so Anna could move onto a fort and heal herself. Olivia followed her down so she could be in Dancing range for the next turn. I’m still entertained by how the Thief initially prioritizes the western chest, by the way, when the eastern one is closer to his starting position. Heh. Too bad Anna sniped it! And Lon’qu julienned Gangrel’s mad a**. Feels good. Fun fact, by the way: Even if you have battle animations turned off, you still get to watch the fight between Gangrel and his attacker anyway! With a few enemies left on the battle, there was just one thing left to figure out. Anna moved east, killed a bandit, and freed up the fort for Olivia to park herself on and Dance for Anna, who was able to obtain the eastern chest. Then Lon’qu took out the remaining enemy Mage, Chrom killed the other Fighter, and Lissa killed the Wyvern Rider, to ensure Olivia couldn’t die. The Thief… ran away. Forcing me to end the chapter a turn later.
Gorrammit.
Some tries later, with slight adjustments. Annis got involved in combat; Olivia Danced for her on the second turn so she could engage enemies and help wipe them out faster. Annis ended up wiping out Gangrel with Chrom’s help. And the chapter ended up ending earlier than I expected. Awesome! No Goddess Icon, but I can roll with that.
Turns: 3 Heroes: Annis and Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia
Total Turncount: 49
Unit Stats
Chrom Supports: Annis (S) Class: Lord Weapons: Sword B Level: 16 HP: 32 Str: 18 Mag: 3 Skl: 18 Spd: 15 Luck: 12 Def: 13 Res: 4
Annis Asset: Speed Flaw: Defense Supports: Chrom (S) Class: Grandmaster Weapons: Sword E, Tome B Level: 20/3 HP: 39 Str: 19 Mag: 18 Skl: 16 Spd: 23 Luck: 14 Def: 15 Res: 9
Lissa gets an Energy Drop and Seraph Robe, Chrom gets a Dracoshield, Libra gets a Secret Book and Goddess Icon, and Cordelia gets a Spirit Dust.
Chapter 12: The Seacomers Cherche dances around with Minerva in the background while the party gets to work; Cordelia goes to the northeast to take out armors while Libra, Olivia, Anna, and Lissa with Frederick head north. Chrom and Annis go to the west to clear out all of the starting Cavaliers and their leading Paladin. I had to reset a few times in order to get this to actually work; Chrom does not enjoy dodging. Chrom went north with Annis and chugged an Elixir while Libra took out a lone Cavalier with Olivia’s help; I’m going to have to painstakingly get her up to Lvl 10 to get her to Pegasus Knight as soon as possible, dangit. Maybe feed her some other stat buffs as I get them so she can handle combat, or give her that Arms Scroll… Lissa and Frederick headed north with Anna to start wiping out enemies like they were made of tissue paper, and Cherche just kept playing with Minerva. Libra and Olivia basically had to handle the incoming enemies on their own, as they got surrounded (and Olivia can’t really deal any damage right now), but everyone else kept pushing north to slay the rest of the stinkin’ Cavaliers. I’ll probably be able to move even faster once Cordelia can use better tomes.
Turns: 5 Heroes: Annis and Chrom Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia
Did a bit of shopping, including a forged Iron Sword for Olivia (Peppercorn), a forged Iron Lance for Lissa (Cinnamon), and a forged Thunder tome for Cordelia (Horseradish). Hopefully Olivia will be able to participate in combat this way.
Chapter 13: Of Sacred Blood Boss rout chapter. I’ve got a Dancer. Cordelia’s a murder machine.
I’m going to put off getting the kids’ Paralogues for now. I’d at least like to have Severa already get Galeforce when I recruit her, if anything. And I can always dream and try to get Galeforce on Annis before I grab Morgan. He can get Ignis on his own later from his mom. :T Or at least grab Rally Spectrum from his mom so he can be a support unit. (Yeah forget that man) Also, Chrom’s kind of an idiot for not suspecting this sooner. Lucina’s still great, though. Mad props. Lissa also got a Master Seal at Lvl 10 to get to Dark Flier faster. And finally she can use her Magic stat again! Life is good. I also forged her a Thunder tome (Ginseng), so she’ll be able to be even more destructive in combat.
Chapter 14: Flames on the Blue So this is a kill-commander chapter, and I could end the chapter in one turn. It would be easy; send in Lon’qu with Cordelia to pave a way for Lissa to swoop in with Frederick and electrocute the boss. Or I could take a couple of extra turns to get Olivia more experience and grab a couple of chests.
I opted for the latter. I’ve got the turns to spare.
The frustrating part: There’s a Chest Key dropped by the enemies. It is located, however, near the two chests to the east, and not the one chest to the south. A quick test of the chapter confirms that the bottom chest is a Second Seal; the other chests otherwise are a Bullion (M) and a Recover.
Thus, the chapter began for realsies. This time, Frederick paired up to Anna; there’s no support bonuses, but he does give her an extra point of Move, allowing her to grab the lower chest to the east on turn one and claim the Recover. Lissa went south with Chrom; even if she can’t open up the chest and grab the Second Seal (and they’ll be purchasable much sooner than Recovers are), she can kill the General and get the Talisman off of his corpse. Lucina Paired Up to her mother, equipped her Rapier, and took point behind her to safely get EXP while not dying while Annis equipped magic at the lower-middle spot on the western bridge. Cordelia took the upper spot, with Lon’qu taking point behind her, as well. (insert your favorite sex joke here) Libra stayed in the back with his Killer Axe equipped, to help draw out enemy Pegasus Knights. Anna and Frederick made mincemeat of the enemies on the eastern bridge, thanks in part to Frederick’s strength and Anna’s well-suited use of the Levin Sword taken from Gangrel’s ‘dead’ body.
At the end of the first Enemy turn, there were eight enemies left; this included the Talisman General, unfortunately. Lissa moved down, pulled the Chest Key that magically popped up in the convoy Chrom carries on his back, and opened up that chest for the Second Seal. Cordelia moved up to the boss and delivered about 1/3 of his health with two Thunder shots, while the rest of my remaining units worked on clearing out Pegasus Knights. Anna, obviously, picked up the other chest. (As a fun note: Clearing out all the enemies on that side of the map left her with only 7 Levin Sword charges.) The Enemy phase went about as well as it possibly could have, aside from the generics attacking first: The General attacked Lissa, missed her, and she killed him on the counteroffensive. Ignatius attacked Cordelia and missed; she hit, and then delivered a critical deathblow, which ended the map.
Lon’qu and Cordelia’s S-rank is actually amazingly adorable. Also, Lissa and Chrom obtained a C, so that’s nice.
Paralogue 12: Disowned by Time Hooray for recruiting Morgan! And because Chrom is his papa, I don’t have to worry about Chrom’s level upon recruitment, and he grabs Ignis from his mama because waiting for my MU to gain Galeforce would take a ludicrous amount of time. Probably best to simply get him going sooner and have him useful now instead of later.
Lissa and Frederick move east to handle enemies and grab the Bullion (M) from the enemy Thief when he steals it, and everyone else moves north, save Annis with Anna in order to recruit Morgan. Annis can use Anna’s movement in getting around later, or Anna can use Annis’ back up to get better results in combat on her way to the other chests. Olivia’s even grabbing a few quick, easy levels! Gosh, this forged sword was a great idea. After grabbing Morgan, it was a simple matter of moving everyone north and killing enemies carefully, so as to not risk Lucina nor Olivia. She didn’t get quite as many kills as I’d hoped, but she still gained three levels from this Paralogue, and I think that’s what matters right now. I also burned some turns letting Olivia simply dance, which helped a lot.
Turns:15 0 Heroes: Lon’qu and Cordelia Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan
Lon’qu was promoted to Assassin for the sake of grabbing Pass, which I figure will be exceedingly valuable on Severa when she’s recruited (given that I hope to not have to make her a flying class for the sake of grabbing Galeforce if possible), and then forged him a Bronze Bow named Flaxseed. (Get it? Because it goes right through you? Eh? Eh??)
Chapter 15: Smoldering Resistance Pretty easy process to complete the chapter, actually, once I figured out a more effective manner to go through the chapter while still getting the houses. Lissa and Frederick moved east along the beach, to kill the Cavaliers and Knights down there while everyone else moved north, and Olivia managed to grab a couple of kills. It was a pretty simple matter of forging west, and it would have been effective had it not required extra turns to proceed by virtue of the two northeastern-most Knights prioritizing the weaponless Say’ri over everything else. So I redid the chapter, still trying to get all the houses, and turns out, the best way to reduce turns was simply to send Cordelia south instead of Lissa. The problem solved itself quite neatly by having Annis and Morgan use more magic on the side. Huzzah!
Turns: 4 Heroes: Lissa and Frederick Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan
Chapter 16: Naga’s Voice So I did this chapter many, many times before finally settling on a strategy. And then when it finally seemed to work, the damage output I was delivering wasn’t up to snuff. So I left the chapter, forged another tome for Lissa (an Elthunder called Wasabi), and then returned. And then I did it many more times before I finally talked to Tiki about my strategy ideas, and she pointed out something that I’d somehow overlooked. This isn’t a Rout Enemies chapter. It’s just Defeat Commander.
Okay. Modified strategy, Lissa has her forged Elthunder tome, and I know what I’m doing now. Time to ring out this sucker.
Lissa and Frederick moved north in order to kill a nearby Fighter. Well, it’s not necessary, but it’s extra delicious EXP. Olivia moved north after them with Libra in tow in order to Dance for her. Then Cordelia moved over and use Rally Movement to give Lissa an extra push, and allow her to kill the enemy Sniper without subjecting herself to a roughly 50/50 chance of life and death. Everyone else just sort of did whatever they could for EXP or entertainment; Anna used 2 charges on her Levin Sword to weaken an enemy Pegasus Knight, Morgan killed a nearby Thief for a medium Bullion and a level, Lucina went to the Event Tile with her dad and got… relationship boost, I think, I got impatient and hit Start before anything loaded. Other than a Fighter wounding himself on Olivia and her wounding him in return, Olivia dodging and killing the enemy Pegasus Knight, a couple of units attacking Anna, and an enemy Hero throwing himself onto Morgan’s sharp Elwind blades, everything else attacked Lissa and died. Brought her to 1hp, but with Relief she started Turn 2 with eight.
Cordelia killed the enemy Warrior for some experience with Lon’qu, while Anna took out the enemy Thief with the Speedwing. I wasn’t able to get the Master Seal, but hey, que será será. I didn’t want to risk Olivia dying after so many resets by attacking the Fighter, so I let Lucina get the kill (when I really should have let her dad get it so he could finally get to Lvl 20 and promote). Then I sent Lissa up north to Cervantes. Cervantes said something about his moustache and how he couldn’t die; Lissa responded by hitting a critical, dealing 57 damage and felling him in one blow.
Atta girl, Lissa.

Chapter 17: Inexorable Death I tried really hard to plot out this chapter to where I could get the Boots as well as defeat Pheros as quickly as possible, but it just wasn’t meant to be. The very fastest I could complete the chapter and still get the Boots left me with 5 turns used, and I don’t think the additional 2 Move from the Boots would justify those additional turns. It was definitely a fun challenge plotting out how to beat the chapter otherwise, though. If I’d had Deliverer, or if one of my Rescuers had more Magic, then maybe I could’ve done it in one, but who knows.
Pair-Ups were a little shuffled around; Morgan paired up to his mom to clear a space for Lissa to move up with Libra, where she took out the Sniper to avoid having an additional complication in his survival. Anna moved up with Frederick and used Rescue on Cordelia, who was paired up to Lon’qu, in order to place her in the spot below the enemy Valkyrie. Then Olivia, paired up to Chrom, moved up to Dance for Anna. Anna opened the door, Cordelia zoomed north. After that, Anna Rescued Olivia from the fringe of her Rescue range, Olivia danced for her, and then Lissa moved up and over to use Rally Movement for both Anna and Cordelia. Morgan just… kinda hung out with his mom, I guess. Then Anna moved north, Rescued Cordelia again, and she had just enough range to swoop up to Pheros, where two hits each between her Javelin and Lon’qu’s Flaxseed sent Pheros packing.
Turns: 2 Heroes: Lissa and Lon’qu Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan
Chapter 18: Sibling Blades This took longer to formulate than I care to admit. I also ended up giving Cordelia the Naga's Tear in order to help things along.
Lissa, paired up to Frederick, took out the Swordmaster to the west near the starting positions. This allowed Anna to move south, putting Olivia right out of range of the Swordmaster below, and get Anna Danced for so she could use her Killing Edge to kill off the Griffon Rider. Libra took point in front of Olivia, using Rally Luck to help boost anyone’s chances within range if they got attacked. Lucina and her papa killed off the Warrior near the starting positions, Annis and Morgan took out the eastern Warrior for some experience, and Cordelia headed as far south with Lon’qu as she could manage, taking out the Sage.
Next turn, Anna moves around the Paladin left alive and kills him. Lissa kills off the Swordmaster, and then Libra Rescues Olivia so she can Dance for Lissa, so she can take out the Sage in front of the first chest to the west. Cordelia and Lon’qu take out the Warrior next to a narrow landbridge above Yen’fay, and take out a horde of enemies on the enemy phase. Morgan and Annis stay out of range to let Cordelia hopefully get more EXP.
Then Anna goes and claims the Second Seal out of the chest, Libra Rescues Olivia again, Lissa moves around and uses Rally Movement for Cordelia and Anna (the others are just a bonus, I guess), which allows Olivia to Dance for Anna and she reaches the chest with the Energy Drop with that extra boost. That same extra boost lets Cordelia reach Yen’fay and take him out with Lon’qu’s help before the enemy phase.
Goddamn, that feels sweet.
Turns: 3 Heroes: Lon’qu and Cordelia Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan
Total Turncount: 68
Paralogue 17: The Threat of Silence Shouldn’t be hard to figure out; Tiki gets Rescued onto a forest tile, just to be safe, and everyone takes point in a V-shape around her. Olivia Dances when she can, and everyone else unequips their weapons until Cordelia hits Lvl 15. Then Lissa takes most of the rest of the experience so maybe she, too, can get Galeforce onto Owain. It’ll make traveling across maps easier, anyway.
Turns:10 0 Heroes: Lon’qu and Cordelia Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan
Total Turncount: 68
Paralogue 10: Ambivalence This actually took fewer attempts than I thought it would; the only real change I needed to make was sending Cordelia up the northwestern passage than up with Severa. Morgan and Chrom took the middle passage while everyone else went up around towards the western chest, with Lissa handling most of the enemies while Libra, Anna, and Olivia engaged in Dancing, Rescuing chains to get the Bullion (M) before proceeding on with the level. Cordelia moved over towards Severa after Anna eventually Rescued her to help cut down on time, to talk to her for shits and giggles. Olivia just kept Dancing, and she even got to Level 11 by the end of the map! Good times. It was… pretty straightforward, to be honest. Head north, don’t get killed by enemies with bows, Lissa waits around to kill the commander while everyone else clears out the spares and Severa starts with already-great stats. Hooray!
Turns:15 0 Heroes: Lissa and Frederick Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan, Severa
Total Turncount: 68
And some more supports: Annis and Lucina obtain their B, Lon’qu and Cordelia both get Cs with their daughter, and Olivia and Libra finally tie the knot. Which is a perfect way for me to get Lissa to get Galeforce before I recruit her son!
Paralogue 6: A Man for Flowers Fairly straightforward. Chrom ends up speaking to Inigo in order to recruit him, while everyone moves ahead into the fortress. Lissa takes out the Assassin near the door—had to redo this part a few times to get luck to work out properly—while everyone else takes point around her. Severa and Lon’qu, along with Cordelia, take out the fliers down south while Lissa eventually moves up north and takes out the other flying units in that direction. By funneling almost all the attacks to Lissa, she hit Lvl 15 before the chapter ended, and I was even able to get Severa the bosskill! Hooray.
Chrom/Morgan B, Olivia/Inigo C, and Libra/Inigo C get. Hooray!
Paralogue 5: Scion of Legend This is actually pretty straightforward. Get Owain, get the Missiletainn, get most of the experience funneled to Severa and Owain since they can make use of Galeforce. Simple as that.
My sword hand trembles, sensing impending bloodshed, and it is with the greatest urgency that I proceed with my draft, prepared to slay the forces of evil in order to stay my mighty bloodline’s hunger for battle
Annis and Morgan get their A, Severa increases her relationship with her papa, and Owain gets both of his parent Cs. And I also buy some new Rescue staffs. So glad Inigo’s Paralogue lets you buy Rescue staffs. Lissa received the Spirit Dust from Owain's paralogue, as well. And onward!
Chapter 19: The Conqueror After using a Magic Tonic and being Danced for, Lissa and Frederick move up as far as they can go, Galeforce a little higher, Cordelia goes as far north as she can with Anna’s help, Rally Movements for Lissa, and Lissa reaches Walhart and slays him on turn 1 with a Micaiah’s Pyre I happened to find in a prior Event Tile. Easy. The rest of the party gets what experience they can in the meantime. It’s a shame, though, this chapter is great for experience otherwise.

Chapter 20: The Sword or the Knee Fun times with Galeforce abound. Annis opens up a path directly up the middle by taking out Cervantes, and then Cordelia and Lissa pair up, with Olivia’s Dancing help to continue northward to take out a generic, then Excellus, and then Walhart at the very top. Helped to trade Cordelia the Bolganone I got off of Excellus’ dead body, as well! Thanks for helping us to take out your leader, Excellus. Finally, your position in the story is meaningful! The kids got what experience they could in the meantime, with Owain and Severa clearing out generics to allow Anna an easier path up to give Olivia a better starting position. Severa also reaches Level 20! Sweet action.

Total Turncount: 70
I proceed to promote Severa to Bow Knight now that she’s Level 20. I could promote her to Hero to give her Axes in the case that she gets enough experience to promote directly to Griffon Knight, but giving her horse maneuverability is more valuable right now.
Chapter 21: Five Gemstones I’ve basically stopped paying attention to the story by now, I just wanna finish the draft and I am frustrated with stuff in this story that I’ve already explained! So just moving onto the battle.
This was actually fairly fun to plot out. Owain and Lissa moved down first, killing off enemies along the initial area in order to clear an easier path for later, and to get Owain some experience. I especially made sure to kill the Swordmaster at the corner of the two walls south of the two lone chest rooms. Anna pairs up to Frederick to get extra movement, and moves as far as possible to rescue Severa and Cordelia. Olivia then moves over in tow with Libra for extra movement and dances for my wonderful Trickster so she can move south again and rescue Severa and Cordelia again, so they essentially get to start all their movements halfway down the map. Feels so gooood. Getting an extra point of Movement on Anna, as opposed to my original strategy that involved having Libra be my running Rescue user, was just the push needed to get Cordelia and Severa in the throne room on turn 1 to kill Algol. Holy s**t, finishing these chapters in one turn feels great.
Turns: 1 Heroes: Lissa and Owain Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan, Severa, Inigo, Owain
Total Turncount: 71
And Morgan and Lucina get their B, which is nice and may be useful later. I also finally give in and change Cordelia to Falcon Knight; I don’t pretend to think that she’ll get much of anything useful before endgame, but it’ll give her more level room than keeping her as a Dark Flier. Also it’ll be better for utilizing her Strength instead of her piddling-by-comparison Speed.
Chapter 22: An Ill Presage Easy enough, actually. Severa pairs up to Cordelia, Lissa uses Rally Movement, Libra moves north and Rescues Olivia, Cordelia moves as far north as she can, Olivia Dances for her, and Severa and Cordelia can then reach Aversa. Annis ran up to Equus with Anna’s help before finishing the chapter, claiming both Rally Spectrum and Gungnir from him before the end of the chapter. Huzzah!
Turns: 1 Heroes: Annis and Anna Playable Units: Annis, Chrom, Frederick, Lissa, Lon’qu, Cordelia, Libra, Anna, Olivia, Lucina, Morgan, Severa, Inigo, Owain
Total Turncount: 72
Severa and Cordelia get their B, and Annis and Anna get their C, as well. I still think it’s adorable how Anna’s supports play the shop music in the background. I also immediately pop Annis over to Dark Flier, just in case, y’know? And for added movement.
Chapter 23: Invisible Ties I’unno, I just kinda waylaid Validar’s forces. Hard to stand up against units who can Galeforce their way through basically anything that comes their way. Especially Severa and Cordelia. Lissa utilized a lot more magic than I would’ve originally intended, but I needed the 1-2 range in order to effectively take the enemies down. You do what you gotta do, man.
Lissa and Owain get their B. I also grabbed some more weaponry and did some forging for added oomph.
Chapter 24: Awakening Galeforce party, Olivia Danced her butt off, Rally Spectrum came in handy. Annis’ unhampered flying movement was also a boon, and hopefully Anna’s newly-obtained Acrobat will be useful at all in the coming, uh, two chapters.
Chapter 25: To Slay a God See chapter 24. There’s not much cleverness to the strategy anymore, it’s just Dancing for Cordelia and her daughter and watching them cross an entire map in one turn.
Endgame: Grima Before battle, I bought a Brave Sword, forged it to max power and as much crit as I could pump into it, named it Vanilla. Then I gave Severa an Arms Scroll to use it.
Same process to reach Grima. Cordelia had Gungnir; she critted once, then Severa hit twice. Cordelia hit again, and then Severa hit, then criticalled Grima; without the crit, she had exactly as much health left as damage that Severa would deal. Convenient for me.
And like ******** I’m letting Chrom do the final blow. Peace out, bitches!
Draft over.
Final turncount, 78 turns. Including the Prologue and Endgame, that means an average of 2.89 turns a chapter. Or more specifically, 2.8repeating turns a chapter. :y It's not as good as FD's draft, nor Tiki's, but it's still good, I like to think, and I'm proud of it. If I redid this, I'd definitely put more priority into Annis (and therefore Morgan) than I did Lissa, and promote everyone a little earlier. It might have helped with getting Galeforce faster and therefore getting to where I could cross entire maps in no time flat that much faster. Possibly also reclass Lon'qu to Wyvern Rider instead of keeping him as a Myrmidon back-up to Cordelia so that he could get to Griffon Rider and grab Deliverer, too. Who knows?
Gold goes to Cordelia, silver goes to Lissa, bronze goes to Annis.
Thanks for tuning in, guys!
