Sakura jumped as the gruff male, a Sound nin, walking up to her Hibi and tossing him around like a sack. She should have been afraid, but she was too angered to think of anything else. Touching her Hibi! Hers! Yuki was just about to aim a well placed kick in the shins to the newcomer, but Aoi's well-placed words stopped her from doing anything rash, as she discreetly glanced at Hibi and grabbed his hand, pulling him behind her protectively.

"Aa, Hai. He's just fine as he is. Hibi, don't you apologize to him, you didn't do anything wrong, you hear?" she said a bit louder than normal, giving the Oto-nin a look of mistrust not-so-discreetly. "Who are you, shinobi-san? Are you with HIbi-chan?" she asked the group questioningly.

The large man gave Hibi a look of admonishment, the boy was undisciplined, and had a bad tendency to run, things that could very well get him killed in the world of ninja. "Just stay close from now on." He said with firm whisper into Hibi's ear. It was at this point that he heard the response from the Leaf-Nin. "Good." He said gruffly, giving Sakura a glare as he did, did they not teach respect of your superiors in Konoha? "I am Jin-roh, a Jonin of the Sound." He said, standing up a little straighter as he did. "And you must be the Konoha Diplomatic Mission." It was this point that Aoi snapped his fingers, and turned happily to Mayuki. "Ah yes! The Mist sent word they we may rendezvous, with members of other villages!" The fat man said happily, and Mayuki simply nodded and smiled. She gave the large Jonin a look of mistrust of her own, though it was much more subtle then Sakura's had been. Not seeing her look, the man put his hand onto Hibi's shoulder. "Well you found them Hibi, good job, but next time do as I tell you and stay close!" He said, admonishing the younger ninja-in-training, even as he congratulated him for finding them.

Hibiku looked at Sakurayuki and shook his head slowly moving out from behind her. "He is big bro. Hibi must listen to big bros." He moved back towards Jin-roh and bowed his head. When the he told Hibi to stay close he nodded and apologized once more before stepping in line behind Jin-roh slightly. Hibi listened to the Old people talking back and forth to one another and then when Jin-roh put his hand on Hibi's shoulder and praised him, even in a strict disciplining tone, Hibi beamed happily as his tail thrashed from side to side. He took a step back and saluted Big bro. "Yes sir! Hibi listen real good now on!" He slowly went and got his hoodie before putting it back on, covering his scales and the base of his tail. He happily stood next to Big bro Jin-roh. Waiting for any orders he was to be given, if any.

...Okay. So scary Jonin Sound-nin was off limits to any and all kinds of shin-kicking. Period. As much as she wanted to steal Hibi-chan away from the group, she had to admit that Hibi was probably safer with 'big bro' than with her. At least the good news was that they were still going to Kiri with them. And Jin-roh-san didn't seem like too bad a person if you looked past his slightly scary posture. Sakura looked at Aoi and Mayuki for instructions on what to do. They still had hours and hours and hours until the boat came, and she was running out of ideas on how to spend the rest of the time in a plausible manner. Dango was good and all, but she really didn't think the Oto-nin would appreciate that too much.

Well, who knew. Maybe he had a sweet tooth or two. Otou-san sure did - it was where she got hers from, and the reason there was never any sweets around the house; the two decimated everything sweet in seconds. There was just no way it could survive in their household. Offering a dango stick to Hibi, she pushed the plate towards the other Oto-nin as a peace offering for the death-glare from before. She didn't trust them, but that didn't mean she couldn't be civil towards them. Yuki owed it to Hibi, at least, Konoha diplomat mission be damned.

...Well, not really. She didn't really really mean that. Did she?

Mayuki stood up, keeping an eye on the Sound Ninja, and put her hand on Sakuryuki's shoulder. "Sakurayuki, can you come with me? I need to fix my make up, and would like your help." She said with a gentle smile, and a more formal tone than she'd used up till this point. At this point the Sound Jonin pulled up a seat and sat down, gesturing that Hibi do the same. "So, I suppose you all are riding on over the Suwan as well?" Jin-Roh asked Aoi, to which he nodded. "Yes, we are." Aoi said with his usual smile, as they went on with their conversation. All this adult talk is boring however, and as you sit there and naw on some dango, you can't help but overhear some other conversations in the shop.

The adults don't seem to notice, but two men walk into the store, smelling of fish and the ocean. "I'm tellin yer, if we'd stayed out any longer, that storm would've done us in!" One of them, who seems older said. "Anythin' smaller than one of them, uh, one of them ferries will be going under, or at the very least be stuck out there for the night!" He told the younger man, as a waiter brought them something to eat, the two evidently being some kind of regulars.

Hibiku watched as Sakurayuki offered Big bro some dango's. He tilted his head to the side at the sight of them. He never really had them before. He was about to reach for them when suddenly he jumped at hearing the other lady speak. He was surprised but couldn't continue reaching for the dango so he quickly looked around. "Hibi don't know what this.... Make Up is... Is it special training?! Hibi feels left out." He looked down feeling left out until seats opened up. He quickly looked at the open seat and pounced on it. He happily nibbled on the dango while he attempted to listen to what the other guy was talking to big bro about. He noticed people walked into the place and his nose cringed at something on them. His attention stayed on them as he heard them speak. He tugged lightly on big bro's sleeve. "Big bro... What does it mean if something is going under?" He pointed at the two people who now ordered some food. "They said something about a storm too and being stuck out "there." Hibi doesn't understand..." He looked down sadly as he continued to nibble on the dango.

Distracted, Sakurayuki stared on at the Oto-nin. She'd never met another shinobi from another village before until now, and as curious as it was, they didn't seem too much different from Konoha jonin except maybe... they seemed a bit more strict. Or perhaps that was because the situation called for it, she couldn't really tell for sure. There wasn't any rule that shinobi from Konoha weren't the same when they were in action as well. Sakura turned her head at a slight scrape of a chair being pushed out, where Mayuki had been sitting before. Yuki nodded as the elder companion asked her for help, and she jumped down from her chair to follow her. All the adult talk was starting to become boring anyway, and she'd much rather spend time helping 'kaa-chan' instead.

Taking her leave with a light bob of her head, she glanced at the rest of the group before following her.

Mayuki lead her into in the female washroom, and suddenly turned around. "I don't trust them." She said quietly to the young girl. "Oto doesn't belong to one of the Five Great Shinobi nations, with a history far more terrible then Konohas or even Kiris. They've gotten better, but still, keep your eyes open, okay?" She said, before turning to a mirror and fixing her make up quickly. "Alright, any questions before we go back out there?" She asked with calming smile, not wanting the girl to appear scared.

Meanwhile in the shop itself, the adult's conversation had turned from their travel arrangements, to Aoi's favorite topic, food, which Jin-Roh didn't seem to care too much for. That is until they began to discuss meat based items, which Jin-Roh gave a smile for. That is, until Hibi pulled on his sleeve, and his smile completely disappeared. He didn't hate the boy, he truly didn't, but he did try his patience. "What are you talking about boy?" He said as he turned to look down at Hibi. "I believe he asked about storms and things going under." Aoi chipped in with his usual happy, reassuring smile, this time aimed at Hibi. "Hmm, if they're talking about storms, I would assume they would mean a ship sinking." He added. "They look like fishermen." Jon-Roh said as he looked the men up and down, they're clothing showing signs of being in the sun all day, as well as appearing slightly damp. "Sounds like a storm is coming through, great." He said with a disappointed snarl. "In which case we'll be stuck here for the night, I doubt the Suwan would risk trying to go through it. Ferries being relatively unstable and all that." Aoi said with a nod.

Yuki was surprised and almost bumped into Mayuki before she stopped herself, just barely. She listened and nodded quietly. Whatever those nin were, they weren't from Konoha. That was more than enough reason to keep her distance from the Oto-nin. But....

"Eto... Mayuki-chan? What about Hibi-chan?" she questioned. The child didn't look like he had anything against them. But then, you never knew. "Iie, never mind. I'll be careful and keep on guard." she said, looking up. You couldn't be too careful when it came to trust.

Hibiku cringed when Big Bro Jin-Roh replied to him. He took a step back. The other belly guy was nicer though. He helped Hibi say was he wanted. "If Hibi going to stay can Hibi do something fun? Like... Oh oh oh! Hibi can destroy something! RAWR!!!" He threw up his hands and started to walk heavily on his feet, swatting at the air in front of him. "Hibi destroy! Rawr!!! ... O-Or something else... Hibi don't mind." He said as he dropped his death machine impression of when he's bigger. He lightly scuffed his foot back and forth against the ground waiting to do something. Hibi understood that they had some time on their hands so he wanted to use them the best he could. "Oh oh oh! Hibi wants to find a weapon too! Like the old hag! She has a weapon! It not fair if Hibi can't have one!" He stamped his foot down like a child then immediately fell into a submissive role, his head hung low, sitting down beside Big Bro Jin-Roh. "Hibi sorry Big Bro." He gently gathered up his tail and started petting it.

Mayuki looked at Sakura with a sorrowful, understanding look as she put her hand on the young girl's shoulder. "I'm not going to tell you not to make friends, especially when you're going to be an exchange student for a while, but... It's just the world we live in, and anyone can be a friend today, and an enemy tomorrow." She said, lamenting the world they lived in, having made plenty of friends as a diplomatic ninja, only to have them become great enemies later on. For a brief moment her thoughts turned to Michio, that young fool. All that showed on her sad face was a quick smile, that disappeared jsut as quickly. "Well, let's go back out there." She said with a pat on Sakura's shoulder as she stood up, and made sure everything was in place in the mirror. With a smile, she lead them back out in the shop.

Out at the table Jin-Roh watched Hibi with the mildly amused, but ultimately disapproving look he seemed to always wear. "Yes, it seems we'll be bunking here for the night." He said as he turned his face back to Aoi, who laughed happily as he watch Hibi. "Oh no, it's the great, giant lizard, Hibizilla!" He said in faux shock and terror as Hibi walked around, swatting at the air. "Oh?" Aoi said as he heard Jin-Roh say something. "Oh, yes. I'm afraid that's how it'll be..." He smiled and stood up as he saw the women return to the table, and he explained the situation to Mayuki and Sakura, before returning to Jin-Roh and Hibi. "If you like, you may stay at the same inn as us." He said with his happy smile.

Well, from the looks of it, it seemed like they were going to be staying inside for quite a while. Sakura was in the midst of chasing the 'Hibizilla' around, attempting to tickle him all the while, when she heard they were to stay together. Yuki nodded in agreement, since they couldn't leave the place anyway with the storm. No one would want to risk their lives to simply get by on schedule. If they were going to stay in an inn though, she really really wanted to get some rest, sure, but what she wanted even more than that was to get a good bath. Oh, how she wished for an onsen... She was already starting to miss the Compound's personal onsen. Sakura stopped tickling the mighty Hibizilla in favor of asking the Konoha group a question. "Mayuki-san, if we do stay at an inn though, can we go visit an onsen? I think I'm starting to drown in this weather, and it's so... humid. I think it's probably since we're next to a body of water, but still.." she muttered, sniffing her hair and making an exaggerated face of disgust. But really, it would be nice to relax in an onsen. Almost all inns had one inside or nearby, so it shouldn't be much trouble to find one, at least. Finally she would have a chance to get rid of all this grime she'd accumulated on her travels today. If only they'd say yes, of course..

Rain danced off Urza's armor as she bounced on the back of the merchant cart. Urza had been stuck in this damp wet land for what seemed like forever. She had been accompanying the Otokage to the land of water to take witness of the Chunin exams, but her ship had the misfortune of being capsized in the ever turbulent seas. Urza kept her head down as she listen to the rain. It was such a melancholy sound. Every time it softly cracked against her shields, every time it pinged on her breastplate, every time a lonely drop would run down her helm and bite into her face, Urza would picture the waves swallowing her up and tossing her about. It was by the grace of God that Urza found herself washed up on shore of Kirigakure, and it was a miracle that she had found her way this far. It had been a long rode, and Urza felt as weighed down as she had ever been. Not by her armor. Nor her shields. Urza was weighed down by the idea that she had let down her team. Urza had set of to diplomatically make ties between the land of Oto and the land of Kiri, but in the end all she had ended up was a small fish in a big, big, ocean.

It was the sound of the old merchant voice that snapped Urza out of her state. "It was quite lucky I fished you off that shore young lady... In my old age I'm ot sure I would have been able to load the cart single handedly."

Urza let a smile creep across her face, "It was no trouble sir. God let me live so I could help those in need. Even if all they need is a hand."

"Even so..." The old man looked back at Urza, "I hear there is a diplomatic gathering of the ninja villages. You said that was what you were doing before the sea claimed you, am I right?"

Urza lifted her head, now full of intrigue in what the man had to say, "Yes... I was headed to watch the chunin exams..."

"Is that so.... That time has long pass... But you have come such a long way. Why don't you head for the main village yourself? It would be a shame to travel all the way to this land, and not see the grand capital of Kirigakure. the man snickered.

Through the mist a small fishing village appeared. Voices carried on the air to the merchants cart, and to Urza's ears. Well really it was just a few words. Hardly more than a whisper... Big-Bro. Urza Quckly turned her body, causing some of the boards that made up the wagon to creak under her weight. Urza squinted her eyes as she looked towards the inn... there was no mistaking it.

Urza took hold of her shield, making sure each one was secured to her arms. The knight raised her head to the sky placing her hands in her lap. That my glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to you forever! Urza finished her prayer making final adjustments on her equipment. "Thank you sir. Your kindness has more than saved my life. But as a sign of God I must take leave. Please I hope you understand." Urza did not wait for the merchant to answer before jumping off the back of the moving wagon. Her feet seemed to sink in to the mud, but compared to the trials she had just faced , even Hell itself couldn't keep her from moving.

Urza walked up to the building following the fisherman. The rain was getting worse and there was talk of a storm. A storm again... This land is ever turbulent. Urza stood unable to progress further. What if the voice had been nothing... Urza shook her head. It couldn't have been nothing... That Big-Bro. it had to...

Urza took a deep breath before pushing past the door. Inside was a plethora of sounds and people. Urza had spent so long with the old merchant she forgot what it sounded like to be in a mob. It was a sound she dearly missed. The Knight scanned the room looking for the source of the big-bro. And it didn't take her long to find it. There he was. Waging tale... Hoodie... And just as she had left him. Hibi. Urza took a step forward trying to figure out who the rest were. She counted one more headband from her village, but no one else seemed familiar. Urza kept her head high and her body as steady as she could as she approached the man keeping Hibi in check. She stopped just short as she raised her fist to her heart, shield and held and gave the man a salute. "Sir. That was the only word she could muster. through shaking voice she managed two more, fighting back tears with all of her might, "God Bless..."

Even so far away, Urza was at home here. Finally at home. But Urza knew it would not stay that was for long. It was no coincidence Urza found herself here with so many new faces. She wasn't going to see Oto for a long time.

((Sorry that was so long and if I messed up where people were or whatnot. I tried to read it all but I ended up just skimming most of the last page neutral ))

Hibiku was just being himself when he heard the clanking of armor. He also wanted to know what this "Onsen" was. His tail started to wag and the thoughts of what it could possibly be. Slowly the clinking got louder and louder. He started to look around until suddenly there was a a giant in armor standing near them then gave a salute to Big bro. Hibi suddenly knew who in the armor. "Big Sis!!!" Hibi quickly latched on to Urza's leg with a hug, his tail whipping back and forth happily. "How''d you get here big sis?" Hibi's eyes widen, "Big sis will join us right?! Right?! Yay! Hibi gets a big bro and a big sis going to misty-land." He beamed happily as his tail wagged. He let go of her leg and punched a few times in front of him. "Big sis will train and make Hibi strong? Hibi wants to train and become strong!" He said as he smiled happily up at big sis then looked over towards Yuki. "Big sis she's nice." He said as he pointed towards Yuki. "She's jealous of Hibi's soft tail but Hibi doesn't mind. Plus she has pretty bright hair." He smiled happily up at Urza and then back at big bro.

Mayuki smiled down at Sakurayuki. "Don't worry, I wouldn't let them pick an inn without one." She said happily, and with a slight giggle and wink down at the young student. Aoi meanwhile seemed to be thinking to himself about something. "Well, I do believe there is an inn on the edge of town with an onsen, at least there was last time I was here." He said. "Though I'm afraid that was some years ago, around the invasion of Mistress in fact." He added. Jin-Roh was just about to say something, when the sound of metal clanking stole his attention, and an armored hulk of a girl entered the dango shop, and promptly gave him a salute. He looked her over for a moment, as realization came over him. "Urza Melinora, you were assumed dead at sea at best, and a rogue-nin at worst." He said flatly, remembering her face, and description from the official oto bingo book. Great, now he would have to send a message to the Otokage telling them that she had been found. Slowly the mountain of a jonin stood up, easily towering over them all. "Hibi, see that Urza is taken care of, and go with the Konoha-nin, I will find you all later." He said, before turning to Urza, and leaning over to whisper into her ear. "Later you can explain to me what happened, but until then consider it top secret, and be careful what you tell Hibi." Standing back up, he walked off into the raining street, heading towards a bird tower that served as the village's primary means of communication, assuming they could get a bird out before the serious storm came in.

Aoi quickly stepped in after that, preventing the moment from getting too awkward. "Well then, unless anyone would like to get some thing, we might as well head to the inn." He said with his usual large smile. "Urza if you're hungry, I'd happily buy you something to eat on the way to the inn." He added sincerely.
