It took a couple of decided tugs, but finally Abbi managed to coerce Not! Allan away from the dark tinted store and began to pull him anywhere else.

A sad frown had worked its way onto the teen's mouth, but she was here to go shopping so that was something to distract herself with. What a surprise it was, then, to look up and see a brightly colored store with catchy music playing. Abbi's eyes went round and she began to drift toward the store, little sparkles appearing around her eyes. "...You're joking." "The Mouse don't joke, son." And neither did Abbi when it came to Disney.
Now this was a nice store. Stormy began to sparkle as they perused the items. Not!Aria seemed pretty pleased with the selection, judging by her non-judgmental looks and actually brief moments of smiling. Although having to buy two of the same skirt was questionable . . .Ah well, nothing wrong with having a spare!

Mid typing the next one, Not!Aria poked her shoulder and asked for her opinion on some more Jersey pajamas, this time cat-flavored. Before Stormy could open her mouth, though, she made her decision, made a face, and then put it back, which was about as good as declaring that she was ready to leave. It'd be their last store next, so Stormy hoped they managed to find a good one.

Like a little kid, Abbi ran from place to place, squealing over the ornaments (SO CUTE!) and cooing over the array of princess dolls. She wasn't much for dolls, but that Ariel plushie was so so cute and ah! They had Marvel comic stuff in the stores now how cool was that!? All the while she flitted and hopped around in her excitement, Not! Allan grumped after her with a frown and a very decided cross of arms. "Aw c'mon sour puss, I'm sure someone as cool as you likes Disney! You like anime how can you hate Disney?!" It was unheard of! She laughed and pulled out a fuzzy hat for him to try on, shoving it over his red hair. "How d'ya like that?" For a moment he considered it before he pulled it off and pointed to the little rack of ornament, all hat shaped and themed. "I want that one instead." The girl's gaze followed his finger but she grew cold upon discovering what he wanted. She shot him a gaze that indicated he was gravely out of line, but the golem was already making his way over to pluck the item off the shelf.

OK OK, she had to do some more shopping too! Besides there was a new movie out she hadn't seen and one of those girls looked like she was a ginger! WITH FRECKLES! Curious, Abbi picked up one of the dolls, the one with braided hair, and idly turned it in her hands. It took a second for the name to filter through but she saw the name on the tag and promptly dropped the doll with a gasp.

Stormy began to freak out a little inwardly knowing there was a Disney store around, though, and she hastened them along with a new spring in her step. DisneyDisneyDisney--
And then Not!Aria stopped them both. "My scarf is fabulous!" she proclaimed out of the blue.
"Mmhmm, right, but Disney--"
The princess golem had other plans in mind as she dragged the trainee into a store she had never heard of. A store that also had some mildly expensive to really sigh-worthy prices. Dang it.

Feeling down with this message, as well as seeing the name on the doll, Abbi just stood there and let Not! Allan wander the store. Apparently her despondent nature attracted a sweet looking sales associate who merrily told her Happy Holidays and began to question her on her shopping goals for the day. Not sure how to respond, Abbi instead engaged the woman on a serious discussion of the new princesses, their movie and was eventually rewarded with the sweet woman pointing out that look! The cute sorta-ginger winter princess was going to sing a song on the tv screen, go watch! She sat Abbi down in a pink princess chair alongside a toddler whose mother had wandered off and together they watched the cute sorta-ginger winter princess sing about her sister. Abbi almost cried, except Not! Allan brought over the hat she had originally offered to buy him and mentioned something about a system error.

She was misty eyed and quiet as she shuffled over to the other winter princess themed items and picked herself up a mug with the sorta-ginger princess. She was so cute... And freckled!
Stormy couldn't help but coo over the text as they left the store. With Aria's list filled out (though not quite to the trainee's satisfaction) and quite a few purchases on her arms, she needed to go sit down and catch her breath. Fawning over Abbi's developing crush was the perfect excuse.
Nestling herself in the food court with Not!Aria, she plopped into a chair and heaved a sigh as the weight was taken off for a little.

After a quick grab of a few more things, Abbi stared at her phone as her purchases were being rung up and debated what else to say. There was one major thing she was holding back on and it wasn't because she didn't want to talk about it. Because she really, really, really did want to talk about it. Mostly it was just... Well... The girl didn't know Stormy all that well beyond a few missions together. So yeah sure, Stormy had totally killed a man for Abbi but that... That was just a mission! That wasn't the same as actually caring about someone and wanting to hear the stupid intricacies of their love life, right? { Not that ye asked, but... It might be nice to talk t'someone other than me, ya? } "Oooohh Vivi you've been so quiet! I thought you have got put on lock down since we were off island!" "What island?" Wide lilac eyes turned, horror struck, to look at the nice cashier lady who had told Abbi all about the movie with the ice princesses. "Th-the island th-that-- Its code. To myself. I... I speak code. To myself." The woman gave Abbi a funny look and went back to wrapping the mug in some paper before she bagged it.
In an effort to avoid talking to herself (or rather, to the person inside her head), Abbi turned to Not! Allan and held up a box she had found. "What do you think of this? I couldn't really find anything better... You think its ok?" The golem first considered the item for a long time before it looked at Abbi, leaned against the counter and drawled "So what are your plans?". Fed up with the fact that it had asked this three times now, the teen threw her hands into the air with a well practiced, over the top sigh. Years as a teenager had done her well and she shoved the money at the woman with a mumbled 'thank you' before she grabbed the bags to make her way out. So ready to be done, Abbi pulled out her phone as she stomped from the store, not even all that sure why she was mad, and texted Stormy back.
