Wow. This store was super pricey. Sherry had seen expensive things before, but $600 for a tie? A very nice tie, mind you, but a tie all the same.

At least she found the pen though. It might have been a clothing store, but at such a fancy store, where they even work on tailoring things while you, they had a few cases full of other fancy things to browse. Sherry guessed that someone who would drop thousands on a suit wouldn't blink at hundreds for a tie or a pen. She did. Oh, she did. But it was THE EXACT pen on Caelius' list. After the whole thing with the pants...she had to get it. "I'll take the pen!" It was budget money, after all.

"You should change your outfit too," said the golem. It even said it in an authoritative tone, sounding just like the Death lead.

"I, uh, don't think so," Sherry replied. The golem repeated itself. Sherry had a few minor flashbacks to a less than pleased Caelius, and she tried to hold strong. But the golem was...insistent. And Sherry was beginning to worry the clerk might notice something was off about it, or worse, the golem would break or something.

So... with a very persistent golem in tow, Sherry found herself a new outfit. Well. Dress and shoes, but basically a whole outfit. She didn't even care if the dress showed her scars. She liked it.

Her wallet cried.


While the clerks were busy putting her smaller bags into larger bags along with the clothes she'd brought in, Sherry checked her phone.



She still wasn't sure how she felt about it. Sure, she liked the dress (and was happy to find the pen) but the cost. Oh, the cost. ...She was wearing two months worth of work.

He hadn't even taken two steps into the store when the Allan golem suddenly grabbed his arm.

"Wait, I forgot something! We're going back."
Jake gave him an incredulous look. Forget WHAT? He was already wearing everything he bo-

A chill ran down his back as he quickly pulled out the Pandora bag from his sling bag. s**t did he lose-
A sigh of relief as Sherry's present was still there, but it seemed Allan's "earrings" were missing. It was a shame, but he didn't really care (asides from losing nearly $100).

"Allan you don't need-"
The golem was already dragging him back.

This was tiring. He didn't want to do this anymore. Why did he think this was easy. He'd much rather suffer Caelius' wrath than be forced to do shopping errands for the sun lead. He'd rather be fighting TITANS than shop for the sun lead. He hadn't even bought a single item on the list and an hour and a half had already passed. How did the sun hunters even put up with him?

While the golem browsed through clothes, Jake slunk off to a corner, pulling out his phone.

They hadn't been in the store but a moment when the princess golem reached out and picked up a shiny scarf. "Does this make my butt look big?"

Sherry turned to it in disbelief. Really? It was asking that? She sighed. "No, no it looks fabulous on you. It brings out your eyes, and makes your hair pop. Rather slimming actually. Have you lost weight?"

The golem beamed at her.

It also didn't put down the scarf. Which was just as well, since Sherry needed to get a tie, anyway.

Caelius the Pincess Golem really liked that paperweight. He put it down on the desk next to the scarf.

"Ring it up," said Sherry. At least that could still come out of her spending budget, right? She hoped so. That was a $98 paper airplane paper-weight.

As she stood at the counter, she spotted something else that might just fullfill a need on her list.

The text sent, Jake sighed heavily. It would probably only end up worrying Sherry, but he was just tired. Just what exactly did this golem want? It apparently seemed to hate the Disney store, was freaking about the earrings, and then didn't seem to care and dragged him into another clothing store. A hip clothing store that probably wouldn't carry any sort of tacky t-shirt of a yellow minipet, not to mention it was probably going to drag him out a moment later. Speaking of which...

He went back into the store, just to make sure the golem wasn't flipping tables or acting even more eccentric than it usually was. But when he finally found princess Allan, the golem only beamed at him, seeming chipper than usual.

"Hey, nice job!"

Wait, so... it was ok being here? It wasn't going to drag him out again? Jake stared at him for a moment, but when the golem didn't seem to react other than smile and repeat the phrase again, Jake let out a sigh. Ok, enough wasting time. He had to actually FIND something on the list.

Ok, one item down, and he still had... a crap ton on the list.
Maybe he should try looking for these "pikachu" things, considering there were 3 of these things that the sun lead wanted. But considering this seemed to be a store for young teens, he didn't think they'd have something so childish here, so it looked like he'd have to improvise.

Searching through the racks, he found a t-shirt that was yellow, and had some sort of animal on it. Not exactly the tiny furry red-cheeked thing he had seen, but it was CLOSE ENOUGH, right?

"..."
He turned to see the sun lead princess golem staring at him, and suddenly felt like he was being judged. This was kinda how it felt when the death lead looked down on him, wasn't it?

"L-look, this was the closest thing I could find, ok?"

Alright, he was actually completing the list. Jake felt a bit of accomplishment, even if the items weren't... EXACTLY what the sun lead wanted. He'd understand though... right?

He was starting to get the hang of the pikachu stuff, so maybe he should try the harder things. He still had no idea what a Kohu was, but it was plushie hat. Plushies were like, stuffed animals, so maybe it was some sort of soft-looking hat? A beanie would be pretty close, and it WAS getting close to winter.

Browsing through the shelf, he picked out a beanie, and turned to see the golem staring at him again.
"Can you suggest something for me?"

The beanie was shoved in the golem's face.
