Handing the sheet off he caught the smile from the bob'ed ghoul, and gave a little greeting grin of his own before bouncing off to his seat. His gaze couldn't help but linger on the ghoul for a few moments though as he went, given she was pretty cute. Though at a loud shout of greetings his attention turned towards the classroom door.
Taking in the sight of a clearly excited fellow student Tavi chuckled to himself, pleased to see another good spirit. The sight of her as she bounced around happily and continued greeting others had his mood boosted, since it wasn't often he stumbled into someone so welcoming in classes given the groups that tended to form. Truly her air was contagious, and as it was he was giving a hearty wave of hand towards the ghoul, "Hi!"
Tavi was just about to tempt further engagement with the ghoul but his plans were foiled at a familiar call of name. "SAN!" Turning and nearly falling out of his chair, the kitsune leaped into a hug on the looming Rakshasa. "Are you here for class too!" Teals beamed brightly, clearly waiting for reassurance and an end to his loneliness. Though twitching ears waited in wings for the 'just visiting' that nearly always tagged along with San's replies.

Efflo took a moment to consider it too, having been carried unceremoniously over to the desks.
He swatted him again.
“You’re lucky you’re pretty.”
Then he was sliding off and letting go, taking stock of the desks around them. Something just wasn’t quite right, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. Aha! Getting an idea, he wrapped his fingers around the corner of one of the desks, and, shoving Gabby out of the way, tugged it until it was sitting flush to the one next to it. Proud of his handiwork, he climbed over the top his desk and settled into his seat, gesturing at the empty one beside him.
“Whenever you’re ready, your prettiness.”
Apparently his Christmas spirit hadn’t gotten the memo, his voice particularly sassy.
"Oh," she said, a little half-surprised, half-delighted exhale. "Do you think?" She apparently also had no qualms with his taking her hand, looking if anything pleased at the compliment. "Maybe I can--"
She trailed off, distracted by Vanya's jingling entrance. It was actually possible to see the pile of bricks being dropped onto the tracks in front of her train of thought.

He saw a young, petite ghoul Tavi was talking to before he spoke his name out. She was a . . . rabbit? Those long rabbit ears were obvious which is what he thought of at first. San wanted to apologize for interrupting, but the young kitsune was completely overjoyed in seeing him that he leaped out of his chair. His fiery eyes widen and he instantly caught Tavi in his arms with ease. Already it was a routine with them that he can do it with his eyes closed. "Hello Tavi . . ." The demon said with a small smile on his face.
A nod was seen in answering the kitsune's question. "Visiting . . . my family kicked me out of the house to make me visit . . ." It was highly an unpleasant thing that has happened to him; being stuck out in the snow. He set Tavi down so he may take off his coat and scarf as it was a little warm here in the classroom. Remembering that they are not alone, he turned to see the petite ghoul for a moment until his eyes cast down in thinking of a greeting. Talking to others is not his best skill at all. ". . . hello. I'm . . . San." A small wave of his hand was given to her and he found a chair to sit down for the time being.

Her eyes went wide at someone talking to her which caused her to flee from her seat and stop in front of the kitsune boil. "Hello hello!" She repeated, grasping onto his hand - whether he was aware or not - and shaking it with vigor as she wriggled him away from the hug with the other. "Oh!" She said, taking a hand from the other too and shaking it as well. Somehow she felt in the middle of something but the feeling died quickly enough.
It was upon this that she noticed how tall this boil was and felt like she was craning her neck just to get a good glance of him. "I'm Alamea but you can call me Mea if you want since it's shorter, but not by much and-" She took in a deep breath and her ears twitched, moving over to the chair next to the other, leaning over towards him. "Nice to meet you San! Wow you sure are tall!" She said, looking at him as he seemed to tower over her. Blinking back her reaction she sent a smile at the kitsune again with an excited wave. "I'm so happy and just want to eat but I couldn't find any of the spookies just yet, have either of you seen them?"
At the word spookies her mouth watered and she shook her head, taking back to bouncing in her seat. "Sorry if I talk a lot, I'm new here and haven't had a lot of time to meet anyone really!" She looked at the kitsune expectantly. "So what's your name, huh huh?"

If Gabby had been a bird, he would have trilled at the compliment. He was preening enough as it is, running a hand through his hair and plucking at his fur coat meticulously when Efflo called him pretty. Because he was right, of course. He was so very pretty.
It was difficult to continue preening when he was being shoved away, and he reached out to try and shove Efflo back, but it was too late. He was already off climbing over desk and - oh. Well, that was acceptable.
He moved over and carefully sat down in the throne created for him, flipping his coattails back before elegantly sliding in.
Baked goods were usually promising, even if they were from another world entirely. It didn’t stop Alecto. Actually, it only spurred her on even more. The allure of foreign foods was enough to make the hellhound remember to actually come to the guest class. Megaera’s constant nagging to attend the lectures absolutely had nothing to do with it. Nothing at all. It was perfectly okay to not take any of the classes, right?! But Alecto wanted to learn, hence her not-so-subtle creeping into the classroom with her tail flicking and her ears wiggling curiously as she eyed the guest lecture. She smells nice. [Eat her and face the consequence.] (What that’s a great idea LET’S DO IT.) [TISIPHONE FOR THE LOVE OF JACK—] The sign up sheet was being passed around fairly quickly, causing the ghoul to confusedly move her head back and forth until she managed to reach out and snatch the paper with her clawed hands.
It took some effort, but she managed to scribble her name down with a pen and happily handed it to the next waiting student before joining the others in the classroom. Alecto happily plopped next to Vanya due to a clear attraction to her colorful feathers. Hopefully the harpy wouldn’t mind having an easily-distracted dog demon run her claws through her wings.

It didn’t what kind of people the guest lecturers were. They were new. They were from Christmas, a place he’d never stepped foot in and likely never would. That in itself made the entire exchange and everything about it utterly fascinating. TK would take as many of these classes as he could; his curiosity had been piqued and there was no stopping his ravenous desire to learn and gather information. The undead boil had every intention of learning about Christmas or he would die (multiple times) trying, so there was no surprise when the tall skeleton silently walked into the lecture hall with hands buried deep in his jacket’s pockets. He glanced at the other students, but then moved his gaze toward Jubilee and took a moment to fully take in her dress and…chipper behavior. But he wasn’t going to make a final decision just yet.
Despite his stature, he managed to go relatively unnoticed by a number of the room’s occupants when he slid into a seat to the side and near the front. TK brandished a tiny book from his pockets, turned to a particular page, and began reading.

For a few short moments he snuggled into the bigger boil, truly having missed his friend since their short get together at the house cup. When it was confirmed though to be a visit the snuggling stopped and his ears drooped on a small whine. "Oooh. ..Well I'm jgyh~" Wiggling happily in San's grip he waited to be put down, though when it happened he was a little shocked as he was recaptured, only this time by someone new.
Comically his body shook as he was pulled into an enthusiastic shake of hands with the ghoul he'd previously engaged. Giggling Tavi chirped a, "hello hello," back in mocking delight before regarding San as he greeted the ghoul. It was still funny to him how utterly shy the taller boil was with other creeple. So strange and yet not, it was hard to describe but either way it tickled Tavi into a small giggle at his friends discomfort.
Standing back his hands shifted behind his back and tails swished lazily behind him. For the moment fuzzy ears stood at attention simply listening to their greetings. Alamea, on a small smile to himself he repeated the ghouls name mentally, glad when a shorten version was offered. When Mea had to pause and inhale before speaking again Tavi giggled wildly, the sight all to familiar since it was exactly how he behaved when excited.
Poor San, he thought on a brilliant smirk then took a seat next to them.
When attention shifted back to him, Tavi puffed his cheeks out in a sort of silly pout, eyes shinning in impish delight before he leaned in towards them both and replied in a whisper, " well the teacher is a biiiig ole spookie, heh!" Leaning back up he folds his arms over his chest and continues, this time more dully, "as for the others well we gotta make em'yanno?" That's what the class was for after all, right?
when mention of being new was made Tavi clapped happily to himself, pleased to find another newbie, "me too! I mean I don't really talk a lot! Ok maybe some b u t ! B u t, I'm new too!" Blinking at the expectant look he giggled at himself, mentally facepalming for forgetting introduction, "I'm Tavi!" Leaning in towards San he bumped shoulders with the bigger boil on a delighted grin, clearly happy with having him there and their new company.

Although Jove's first priority was making sure Mathias was okay with his new friend, because it was only natural that anyone who met Helmut had made a new friend, his fluffy ears turned this way and that as he listened to the crowd in the room. There were so many unfamiliar voices...
The little ghost shot a quick glance across the room, and that was when he noticed the kitsune. Jove had met a couple other kitsunes during his time at the academy, and both had exerted a similar influence upon him. He wanted to go to them, and be around them. For a second the little foxfire stared with both ears perked forward in the most curious expression, but then he quickly controlled himself and looked back at his friends. Maybe... he could meet this kitsune later...
There had been many, many long moments debating if he really, really to be out and about with all that annoying white stuff--snow, he'd heard others call it after a while--but responsibility won out. Which was really the only reason he marched down the hall, soft leather of his boots making rather unpleasant wet sounds as he moved. The hems of his trousers were soaked. Sleeves of his loose cream shirt rolled past his elbows. He'd at least kept them from getting singed. This time. Not a single snowflake stood as evidence the boil had just been outside. Nope. That he was sopping wet certainly hinted what he'd done to get through it though.
The fire ball that hoovered between his horns flared and crackled in the air. A temper not evident on his otherwise stony face. Lids barely lowered as the boil took a turn into the open classroom door. It was the promise of food that helped bring him here. No shame in hiding that fact. The exchanged professor got a longer stare than anyone else in the room. She was... a spookie? He pondered briefly if eating one near her would be considered offensive. Taking in the noise and social exchanges already in full swing, the balrog tucked his wings a tad closer at his back and did what he could to slip into a seat. He was at least pretty sure he didn't hit anyone en route to one of the few open desks in his path. He did at least take the time to jot down his name on the sign-in sheet when it caught his attention.
The fire above his head sputtered a few more irritated sparks as he settled his bulk into the... chair. If one could really call any of these chairs, they certainly couldn't be called comfortable. One hand dropped to his side, toying with the heavy gold lock that hung from a simple belt strapped over his shirt. Though these thoughts and actions took less than a few seconds from when he sat down, as he adjusted the placement of his feet, he missed the new sensation beneath one. The new surface he slammed his foot rather hard on as he tried to get vaguely comfortable where he sat.

Piper, normally very social, was so weirded out by these newcomers that she didn't outright bother anyone. In fact, she hoped that she and her magnificent hair, which had been unceremoniously stuffed in a hood that made her look like a walking bobble-head doll, would make it out of the class alright.
She resisted the urger to text one of her friends, because that would just make her look needy.

The horse monster had quite an amount of mixed feelings as far as Joy was concerned. On the one hoof, his time in Amityville and the brief instance he'd visited the land of Joy itself had left him deeply disturbed, unhappy, and possibly traumatized as far as snow was concerned. He equated Joy with snow, and given the state the school was in now, he had no reason to think otherwise.
On the other hoof, this particular class involved baking and the poor boil still needed to learn how to bake. Well, need was such a strong word, it wasn't that he was required to know how to bake by his clan or his ghoul, but it was one of the skills he had wanted to learn for himself. His continuous attempts at improving had sent several gnomes to the infirmary because of food poisoning. So out of desperation, the horse monster decided against his better judgement to sign up.
The worst that could happen was whatever he baked would come to life and attempt to destroy the school. Like that hasn't happened before. He gave the sign up sheet a good look, smiling when he recognize some of the names. At least he wouldn't be completely by himself.

Vanya was daydreaming when the ghoul plopped next to her and she looked up and blinked a few times before she sat up straight and cleared her throat. "Hello.." she greeted, her voice almost like a purr. The ghoul was cute and Vanya would put up with the class if she was in such company. "I don't believe we've met," she said with a smile. "I'm Vanya." She offered her hand to the other ghoul before continuing. "I hope you're not looking for a competent partner. I'm not very good at cooking, I'm afraid."
She made an odd face; it was a difficult thing to admit she wasn't perfect at something. But it was true; the ghoul couldn't cook. Still, cookies didn't seem that hard, right? Surely she couldn't mess it up too badly..

Ithi was still new to everything, but she wasn't used to everyone seeming as confused and perturbed as she was. Everything was suddenly so cold she found herself wrapping up in layers of her clothes, no matter what they looked like so in the end she was this walking pile of flowing gossamer fabrics that looked like they might tear apart at sudden movements. If it weren't for the gold detailing on much of the articles she'd probably start to disappear into the new snow.
She dusted herself off as much as she could, giving a slight shake to knock the rest of the snow off only to send it cascading around her to settle right back on her clothes. Shaking her head she moved to take a seat off in the corner so as not to disturb anyone. Thankfully the room seemed rather warm, and it was certain to get warmer once the baking started.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw Gabby and what she assumed was the person from the date he had mentioned before. She waved to him, full of energy and excitement before catching herself and slowly pulling her hand back down to the desk. Calm. Breathe. Collect yourself. Dammit, don't freak out just cause you see a friend. She smiled and offered a much calmer and dignified wave.
