"Don't have the slightest clue what's in the seasonings do you?" He snorted. "And you don't care either huh?" Neither did Lance really. It all tasted good. Sometimes he felt it was better to keep some things a mystery.

"I know that one of them is paprika," Alistair replied, finishing his dumpling and then taking a second. "And that it tastes very good and that is approximately all I care to know," he said, his tone light and cheerful.

The blonde snorted, as he moved the arm that was around Ali's back to hang over his shoulder. "Just a well of information." He teased. "I agree that it's good though. This was a good idea."

"Oh absolutely," he said, taking a second piece of crab but leaving the remaining two for Lance. "Oh, wonderful, I'll have to bring you back here," he said, laughing.

Alistair raised his eyebrows, and then their waitress returned with the entrees - a plate of sushi (specifically, what looked like four california rolls with baked lobster on top) and a plate of two different kinds of fried food, one meat in breadcrums and the other something in a light-colored batter.
"Thank you, Mayumi," Alistair said, and then he turned back to Lance. "Ah, and now the real fun begins."
