Spirit kept working at cutting down branches and leaves. It was hard work but great practice for battle.

Cara and Spirit kept working together. Spirit cut down the limbs and Cara picked them up. The two were in complete synch.

(so sorry, i was unwell for a few days and couldn't post as i wasn't even online except for checking in on my phone)
Katori ventured out with Danae, he knew she knew slash if not Cut so they could get SOME branches right? "Danae, over where the others aren't we need branches and we need em now .... do ya think ya c'n do it?" he asked her, to which she answered by raking at the ground and she flamed a little along her back. "Good girl" he said, grinning and pointing to a likely tree "Right then, slash some o'those and make sure you get them near the trunk if ya can, longer branches that way"
Danae leapt and used slash on the branches.

Laurence continued chopping; he was starting to sweat. "Do you not know any way you could help?" he called up to Kili.
Kili wiggled her nose down at Laurence. She paused for a moment, then hopped over the a branch that was thin but densely packed with leaves. She was able to gnaw through the young green bark with ease, and the branch came tumbling down with a flop on top of Laurence's head.
"Great! Keep it up," Laurence said, adding the smaller branch to the pile. They would need the leafy branches that grew higher up in the tree than he could reach to make a waterproof roof over their heads. Kili, being such a nimble climber, was perfect for the task; and the whole thing would go much faster if they worked together. Feeling freshly inspired, Laurence continued working hard.

Laurence began to hum and even sing a little while he worked. His voice was not unpleasant. Kili cocked an ear and began to sing with him as best she could, her high voice weaving through Laurence's tenor. It seemed to make the task easier.

Remmy ran around the new person and yell "We have a game going on! Join in! Join in! Let see who can get the most branches cut and the least amount of time. It will be Squeek and i who will win cus we be awesome!" He ran back to his tree and started to pull down losses branches and cheering on squeeks as he cut!

Remmy yell out a song as Squeek squeak along "Cutin cutin cutin cutin! We gotta be cutin~! Yeah cut it to the left! Cut it to the right! COME ON CARA Sing with us!! CUTIN CUTIN CUTIN CUTIN! WE GOTTA BE CUTIN~! COME ON SING WITH US!!"
Remmy and Squeek was having a good ole time and they was going to make sure that have fun the whole time!

Cara grimaced a bit at Remmy's song. How did she know this was gonna happen. "Um, no thanks Remmy, I'm not really in the singing mood right now." She said as she picked up some more branches and deposited them in the pile.

Spirit kept chopping and Cara kept picking up the branches and placing them in the ever growing pile at the shelter site. Cara saw that they had a long way to go if they wanted to make a shelter big enough for everyone.

Cara and Spirit had to take a small break. Cara pulled out a bottle of water from her pack and shared it with her Pokemon then they got back to work. She knew that she and Spirit would be alright for the night, considering that she had brought a tent and sleeping bag but she wanted to make sure that they took care of everyone else.
