Tantalus grinned over at Damocles, once again looking back for his own clone. "How quick do you think you can finish it?" He asked, and then he found himself looking away because it was still a humanoid figure under Damocles's boot, even if he suspected it was just an illusion. "I don't...want the other one to find us again."

Damocles just kept pressing down on the creatures throat even as the creature clawed and swiped at him. It hissed, even trying to kick out at Tantalus once or twice before Damocles just grunted and pressed as hard as he could, the thing underneath him hiss and sputter before eventually dying. Or atleast he hoped it was dead.. "I love you and all, but I don't feel like dealing with your double either."

Tantalus snorted, taking a few steps away from the thing's flailing legs. "And ordinarily I wouldn't mind two of you. The experience is somewhat ruined by one of them being homicidal." His tone was remarkably light, considering how close of a call this had been.

Damocles just made a irritated noise, as he glanced at Tantalus through the top of his eyes. "Let's get out of here before you show up."

Tantalus nodded, linking his arms with Damocles's. "Let's go," he said, practically pulling the blond along as he ran.
