Paper picked up the story, his lips wibbling as he tried not to snicker, relating Truth's brilliant plan to unstick his wing with his own hoof and more glue, and how they ended up getting into even more of a mess. He talked about the walk back home, how they stumbled a lot and had to be much less direct because Truths didn't want to be seen by any phony else. "And now you're here.." Silk Kimono's eyes positively glittered with amusement. "Poor boys.." She moved quick to flick a trail of soap starting to trail down Truth's forehead. "Yeahhh..." Paper said, looking at his hooves in embarrassment. "But you know it was weird. When my wing first got stuck Truths was laughing so much and I didn't see how any of this was funny, but when he got his hoof stuck on me, I couldn't stop laughing!" "Is that right..?" Kimono grabbed a small wood basin and dipped it into the water, cascading water down onto the two soap colts, rising their fur. "Did you feel the same way Truths..?" Kitomyx Gosh FINALLY people left me along long enough to think of a reply XD I think we can prolly wrap this up in a couple more turns for us! Sorry to make you wait!

Truths kept a heavy-lidded, deadpan expression and tried hard not to roll his eyes, but he had to try just as hard not to start laughing all over again. To hear the story being re-told just made it sound that much more ridiculous. He blinked and tensed as Silk flicked the soap from his forehead, wondering idly if the water was getting warmer or it was just him.
"Ah...well, it wasn't just your wing," Truths reminded Paper, allowing himself a sneer. "You were bumping into things and talking really loud because you couldn't hear. It was hilarious," he stated, as if there could have been no argument to the contrary. "I'll admit the hilarity of it probably hindered my judgement for the latter bit...otherwise we probably would have been out of that mess a whole lot sooner. Without anyone else's help."
He still hated to think he had acted so childish. For Paper to do so was one thing, but him? He had a reputation to keep up after all. Couldn't be caught going to adults for every single little problem he had. "It...was pretty funny until I got caught up in the whole thing," Truths told the elegant mare. "Of course you wouldn't.." Silk said lightly, She grabbed a very thin comb from the sink counter took it to Truth's mane, as gently as possible combing out the bits of glue that wouldn't wash away. "When Paper was bumbling around, you found it quite funny. But when you made the less then ideal judgement, you got to know how Paper felt when you laughed at him."Paper nodded rapidly. "Yeah yeah, when Truths was laughing, I couldn't see what was funny at all! But when he glued himself to my wing, suddenly I could see why it was hilarious!" he grinned and looked bashful. "And I guess it was pretty funny when I was wobbling around yelling..""I think you both learn a lot about laughter today." the mare said, running the comb for a last time through Truth's mane to make sure it was glue free. "Like how it feels to be laughed at, but how also things can be funny to you but not some phony else. Now..how about we get you two unstuck?"Silk Kimono grabbed Truth's small leg and with a little yank, his hoof came free. She dropped a warm, wet washcloth on his head. "Finish yourself up, tail, back of ears and neck." She grabbed the comb again and slipped it under Paper's wing and began to comb the soggy fur from his wing, occasionally flicking away dried bits of glue and some blue tufts from the teeth. After a few moments of work, Paper's wing finally lifted free of his side. "Thank you Mother!" Paper flapped his wings rapidly, flicking water all over Truths and Silk. "Err..opps..I'll mop it up." he said. Silk dropped a wash cloth onto her son's head, asking him to finish cleaning himself up. "Wash and dry off, then come downstairs both of you. Truths, stay for some dinner and tea..and I won't take no for an answer." Silk said firmly, wiping her hooves on a smaller towel before disappearing down the stairs. Paper soaked his wash cloth and started scrubbing at the back of his neck. "Is your hoof ok Truths? Mother's got some things that can help if it hurts or anything.." he says with a big smile. Kitomyx Yes Finally! XD I'm so sorry, my mom got in a car accident and yeesh it's been a BAD start of the year for me! You can wrap it up in your post if you want/think you can or I can wrap it up the post after yours, which ever works/feels right for you! Thank you so much for the rp!

As the flutter mare combed his mane, the unicorn closed his eye in an attempt to keep the comb, strands, or remaining bits of glue from getting into it. He listen attentively as his ears swerved to catch her voice. "Hmm...I see..." He peered at Paper out the corner of his peripheral vision when the younger flutter spoke. "I...suppose that makes sense." Glancing down at the water, a small smile crept onto his face.
All too soon, it seemed, Silk Kimono was finished grooming his mane. Truths continued to listen, though, and nodded eagerly when she offered to get the two colts unstuck. He tensed a little when she tugged on his leg and even more so when she dropped the washcloth on his head. "Ah...yes, ma'm," he answered dutifully, still feeling a little dazed and unsure of how to respond to her motherly ministrations.
Still, finally something he didn't have to rely on someone else for. It had been nice being tended to, but at least now he didn't feel so helpless. "...Thank you, Miss Kimono." Was that weird to call her? He hoped she wouldn't mind; he wasn't sure what else to do. Using her first name when Paper called her 'Mother' just didn't seem right.
He blinked a little when Paper flicked water on him, but he surprised himself when a laugh escaped his open mouth instead of an angry complaint. "It's alright. I'll help you," he offered. "At least it's just water this time and not glue." He wasn't sure he'd be able to handle it anymore if they were ever asked in school to do arts and crafts involving the awful adhesive.
Looking to Silk at her insistence that he stay for dinner and tea, Truths knew he must have been blushing. He had been about to ask if she was sure, especially after what he'd just put her son through, but she didn't seem to bear him any ill will. Nor did Paper, for that matter. "Thank you," he said again, his voice soft with genuine gratitude toward the flutter family. He had never felt so...welcome, before.
Was this what being part of a family felt like all the time? It seemed he'd have to wait to start one of his own in order to find out. If and when he did, though, he hoped it would be at least half as warm and loving as Paper's, Moon's, and Silk's.
"Wh-what?" Truths asked, going back to wiping himself off as he'd been instructed, same as Paper. "Oh...y-yes, it's fine," he said, his gaze still distant. "You...you have a very nice family, Paper," Truths told him. "A wonderful family. I hope you know that." Folding the washcloth, he grabbed a paper towel to wipe up the water Paper had flicked around earlier. "I'm...very glad to have met you all." A low chuckle escaped the foal as he finished mopping up the last of the water. "Just don't let Mooncake know."Astraea Pandora ((Oh, yikes, I'm so sorry to hear that, Astra! I hope she's okay! sad Also, I'm sorry it took me so long to finish this post, but I'm very excited for Paper! Thank you for the rp! It was really nice having Truth get to do an element with each of his 3 main foal friends, hehe, not to mention meet Silk.))

Paper finished cleaning himself off and pulled the bath drain, joining Truths in mopping up the mess. "I know.." he said with a smile, "But family is anyone important in your life, so that makes you family too Truths! You better come by a lot and say hi to mother, cause she'll be asking about you all the time now." The colt tosses the paper towel away and hands Truth's a towel before drying his mane out. "And don't worry, I don't think that Mooncake would believe me anyway.."Hanging up his towel, he beckoned to the colt. "Let's go eat and have a good laugh about our day together!"~FIN~ Kitomyx Done! WOO! I cannot wait to see Truth's as an adult so much!!! If you need help with Smooth Swing, lemme know! And as for my mom, she's ok! Just very very very very sore, lotsa nice bruises. Very lucky really, cause I think the car is totaled. The other driver didnt even have insurance or a license, shouldn't have been on the road in the first place really!
