Headmaster, Law and Ethics
Dubhan heard her before he saw her. The door swung open and a flood of words poured out of her mouth, punctuated by a shriek.
"Captain Ailuro, I know who you are," he said, turning his body in his chair to face her. He stood up and plucked his head off his stack of books, placing it safely in the crook of his arm to speak to her. "I am too old to take offense, but bear in mind that I cannot soften the blow of my appearance," he reminded her, as he did with seemingly every new member of staff.
"Let me make something very clear," he said, watching her closely. He did not know much about Preed, as the earth was more his domain, but she was part of his staff and therefore, under his supervision. "This is not your fault, but I am fed up with constantly hiring and firing members of staff who do not last the year. I will not hesitate to show you the door if you do not live up to my expectations of education and decorum while you are at this academy. Do not give me a reason to doubt you and send you packing."
Honestly, he had a good feeling. The Captain seemed to know what she was doing and exuded confidence and a no-nonsense attitude, far more than Harrison had. He doubted she'd see much trouble, but with the students they had...
He opened a drawer of his desk, and picked up a set of keys. "To your classroom, and your dormitory," he said, holding them out to her. "The school is at lunch break right now. Once the bell rings, they will be attending third hour class. I fully expect to see you teaching."
Dubhan watched her closely, trying to gauge how well they would work together. "Any questions before you go on your way?"
