Heidi winced when she felt the axe against her. She could feel it more than when the fight had started which meant she was nearing the end of her fight. But Heidi was not throwing this. No way. She turned her bow to swing it at Tuck the way he would swing Herryk, though her hit was less effective considering axe was not her weapon style.

Tuck stumbled back a little, but quickly regrouped and struck again, though much lower and with much less force.

He was getting tired, and he could tell that Heidi was getting tired. Tuck leaned back and eyed his girl, knowing that if he put too much force into his blow he'd send her to the infirmary - and that was the last thing he wanted to do.
And so he broke her shield with a hug.
A really, really hard hug.
"That pink things in a box under our bed."
He smeared mud all over her before leaning back with a grin.

Heidi had braced herself for the impact of Herryk's blade, or even the flat side of it, she had not braced herself for what she ended up getting instead. When Tuck threw himself as her for a hug she wasn't prepared for she squeaked and lost her balance in the slippery mud, falling to the ground and bringing Tuck down with her.
It was more his weight landing harshly on top of her than the hug itself that broke her shield and made her yelp. Matilda was quickly unsummoned.
"Ohmygodyou'reheavywhyareyousoheavyohgod" Heidi may have been exaggerating as she gasped for breath. Maybe. Just a little.
Under their bed. Okay. She'd keep that in mind.
When he covered her in mud she whiiiiiiiined in protest, pretending it bothered her more than it actually did.
"I almost had you. Almost."

Tuck groaned as he rolled onto his back in the mud. The rain was picking up, and his face was peppered with the cold, fat drops.
"I beat your a**."
He cleared his throat.
"Can I still do the thing?"

Heidi snorted. " Barely." She sat up, propping herself up on her elbows. "Thank you for not going easy on me~." At his question she blushed. "After I clean up a little, 'kay? Being dirty isn't always fun." Or sanitary. "Good match," Heidi grinned.

Tuck gave Heidi a look, and it was one that said baby no matter how much I love you, I ain't gonna do the thing when we both got mud in places mud ain't supposed to be - but he did lean over to kiss her. Mud and all. "I never thought I'd say this, but I can't wait for showers to be back - even if they're community showers. I don't give a flyin' ********."

Heidi giggled, returning the kiss she was given and then finally got up on her feet. She offered both hands down to Tuck to help him off the slippery mud. "C'mon, let's go find out who you're going up against next." And she wanted to spend as much time in the rain as possible. Pinchmonster if you go somewhere feel free to NPC her
