No, there didn't seem to be any hesitation, especially feeling like his innards could have been taken out by that blow. Milo hopped back for a moment, hand to his chest where the sword had struck and rubbed at it a little; like with the last fight, it felt like the shield was beginning to fade, having taken too much, allowing him to feel it a little more.
It wasn't something that would really shake him though, Milo didn't have a confidence issue (except the few weeks before finding himself here), "Well, hopefully we're about even then," he nodded as the rain continued to seep into his clothing -his hair was sticking to his face now. (Free shower?) Well, wouldn't for long if this next attack struck. The brunette increased his stance, held his naginata like a baseball bat, took a step and swung away. Yeah, they weren't so even now.
