That caused him to frown. The staff to him was easily handled with one hand if he wanted to. Quinn only chose to normally hold it with two because his handle of it was easier.
"You act like its heavy?" He made is a question, letting go of the staff entirely even though he was reluctant. Land would find the staff was well balanced because while the dreamcatcher design at the top was larger, the base was made of heavier materials.

"It weighs more than Darth does." He cocked his head towards the pick who had remained oddly quiet for the moment. He shifted Quinn's staff in his hands before holding it back out to the other young man so that he could reach out for his own weapon.
"I mean I know I was swinging him around like he was nothing, but... It's kind of like swinging a golf club, or a croquet mallet." At that he heard a low, irritated grumble in his mind. "A fancy croquet mallet."

Not even intending to show off Quinn reached for the staff and took it back single handed, liftin it up and down woth ease. "Why do i feel like this is part of the magic involved. Oki feels like the weight of a measuring stick to me. " very light basically.
".... Well your mallet has a pointy end too. Being on the recieving end i can tell you it hurts. Plus... A fancy croquet mallet is better than a oversized bubble wand if we are comparing?"
That was enough for quinn to yelp in pain. Clutching his ears and wincing as if something hit him. In reality it was a sudden and really loud noise in his mind. Almost headache inducing. Sorry Oki,sorry!
It took him a second to catch his breath once more. "Does he have a name?" Jordan had taught him it was polite to ask about the hunters partner too.

"Take it that Oki, if that's what its name is, likes being called an over-sized bubble wand just about as much as Tivadar likes being called a fancy croquet mallet?" His eyes gleamed with the trace of a smirk as he shifted to push himself up to his feet, leaning a good bit of his weight on Tivadar in the process before holding a hand out for Quinn to help him up as well.
"And don't knock bubble wands. Oki packs a pretty mean poke, swat and conk." His smirk broadened just a bit. "It was a good match."
