“Ya, ya.” Hel muttered, lightly shoving her sister off. She then folded the knapsack containing her weapon up, and attached it back to her belt. “I feel way more than okay.” She announced with a grin, and at Freya’s question gave a thoughtful hum. “Scared…? No.” She shook her head. “Anxious, driven, frustrated, and yearning…ya.” Hel rested one of her hands on her hips, and idly drummed her fingers. “…It really was a serious and intense event though…but I feel good knowing that I faced what lie ahead of me and can look back at it now feeling this good.” She tapped the lock nestled above her bosom. “Even if I do have this and there are gaps in my memory right now.”

Freya did not feel anxious, driven, frustrated, or any of the things that Hel seemed to have come out of the Tear with. She just felt content. And the mention of missing memories made her wonder if she had any as well - there was a lock on her body - well, two in fact, thanks Thackery. But when she thought back, she couldn't sense any weird missing moments in her life. Everything important seemed.. right where it should be. "Where are yehr gaps? Can yeh actually pinpoint them?" She asked, looking up at her sister curiously.

At Freya’s question, Hel’s brows furrowed and she stared up at the ceiling. She tapped her foot idly as well, and she did look like she was trying really hard to recall, but she simply shrugged after a moment. “Nothing I can recall on my own…” She rubbed the back of her neck, and wondered what that meant exactly. “I am just gonna…wait to see if the memories will be jogged…” She paused. “The sooner the better. This lock is not the greatest thing ever.”

"It's not?" Freya ran her fingers across the lock on her own skin, just behind her hair on the back of her neck. "That's weird." Touching it made her feel so pleasant. Comfortable. "When I first realized it was there, I thought real hard, tryings teh figure out what I was missing. But I couldn't figures it out, and then.." Her hand dropped, and she sighed deeply. "Then I didn't wants teh. I don't thinks I wants teh know." Her eyes flickered up to her sister guiltily. "Is that a bad thing?"

“Uh…” Hel looked like a deer in the headlights as Freya spoke. First, confusion. Why wouldn’t Freya want to remember what she lost? Hel couldn’t grasp it, but the more she stared at her sister, it became apparent that the wheels in her head were turning…really hard. She was trying to grasp what her sister was saying. That she felt better…about forgetting something…? Well now…on one hand, Hel could see it, but on the other… Hel scratched her jaw and frowned, and her brows furrowed. “Uh…honestly, Freya, I think that depends on the being themselves…maybe it is not bad for you…but I think it is bad. After all, whether the memories are good or bad, they are yours, and how you embrace and handle them depends on you, and measures your strength…I would not be me without the good and the bad.”

Hel's response had Freya slumping with worry. She bit her lip, and then slid down the bed until she could see herself in the mirror on the wall. "Do yeh thinks I am not me, without my memories?" She rubbed her face, and squished her cheeks. "I did not thinks I was missing anythings that I needed.. but maybe I cannot sees as well. Yeh've always been able teh sees me better." She turned to her sister, still squishing her face oddly. "Am I still me??"

Hel stared at her sister oddly…not sure she was liking what was coming out of her mouth. Was it right that someone else could see someone better than one’s own self? She took a moment to reflect upon that. Hel always liked to think she knew herself better than anyone else, but…but, it was possibly for someone to get stuck in a rut and not see it or pinpoint the cause until someone else pointed it out for them. Hrm. Her sister’s words brought up another good point as well…she did like this Freya better than the one before. This Freya had a healthier outlook on life than the one before. This was more like the sister she knew…but that didn’t mean that was a good thing either. Change wasn’t bad…unless it turned into something bad. Hel sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose briefly. “Freya.” Hel’s voice cut through, and it was serious. “ Are you happy right now?”

It was a good question, and well received. Freya looked all too happy to answer it, grinning up at her sister with bubbly, warm joy. "I feels happier than ever! That is why I thought.. ja, this is good, but then yeh worries me." She knew instantly that her worry was unfounded, without Hel needing to tell her so. She also knew she was being ridiculous for worrying. Her grin turned bashful. "Is hard teh remembers sometimes, that what is goods for yeh, may not be goods for me.. and other way around tuu." She'd lived her entire life thinking all of her .. all of her .. She couldn't remember what it was she always tried to enforce on Hel. It must not have been very important.

Hel’s concentrated expression melted, and she smiled. She nodded her head as she listened to her sister. Being happy….that was important…and if forgetting something worked for Freya, then it…worked. Hel didn’t have to like it, it was as simple as that. “Ya…we may be sisters, but we are two different souls…so ya…what works for you will not work for me and vice versa…” Hel trailed off for a moment before she took a deep breath, and her brows furrowed slightly as she regarded her sister. “Freya.” Her tone was serious again. “ If those memories ever come back, and if that lock ever goes away, promise me you will remember this talk we had, and how happy you are right now, alright? Promise me. Promise me you will fight for this happiness if those memories ever return.”

The way Hel was emphasizing had Freya a little worried. She'd said promise three times. And she was being so serious. "Hel.." Freya whispered, her voice hesitant and a touch nervous. "Do yeh knows what those memories I lost were?" It was starting to sound like Hel knew something she didn't, and her hand reached up to brush the lock again, now morbidly curious what lay beneath its protection.

“Ya. I do.” She replied. “I am your sister, after all.” Now, Hel couldn’t help but realize she was in…well…an odd situation. She knew something her sister didn’t about herself…was it Freya’s right to know or…could Hel take it upon herself to not share? This was…a debate of morals, wasn’t it? Dammit, Gramps. Making her think. UGH… Hel’s brows furrowed, and she was silent for a moment. “…Buuuuuut~” She drawled then, and idly rocked on her heels. “…I think my recollection of them might be… skewed…so truly, it would not be in your best interest for me to retell them to you…” Hel looked mighty pleased that she managed to work around those.

Curiosity was starting to get the best of her. She fidgeted when her sister decided not to tell her what it was, but she'd already decided she didn't want to know, and she was trying so hard to keep it that way. Besides, if it was something truly important.. she knew her sister wouldn't hide it from her. "Okays." She hummed out, hesitantly agreeing. "I trusts yeh." She stood up off the bed, and kissed her sister on the cheek. "Thanks, crumpet."

Maybe some things were better off forgotten. For some. Not all. Hel couldn’t think that she, herself, would be better off forgetting anything. The ghoul chuckled a bit. “Trust me, eh? That is rather dangerous, yanno.” The ghoul then made a pretend show of pouting when her sister kissed her on the cheek, and she idly waved her off. “Ya, ya…” The reaper trailed off for a moment. “Okay…well, I am going on my way now…it appears you are ah…well, and I do not want to be an audience for the next half of the show.” Hel skittered over to door, and opened it. She waved a hand to her sister. “See you!” She then disappeared out the door.

Freya's smile just grew big and smug when Hel mentioned the show. Her own hand returned the wave she got, but it continued to move, all the way to her pocket, to pull out a phone.
