You probably know more about that part of the world than I do! I'm more acquainted with the German part of my heritage than any other part. All four of my grandparents spoke it to some degree (a couple fluently). I'd have to inquire with my dad on any further info. 3nodding
As for the return to the lovely Harry Potter, I do have an active imagination. emotion_kirakira I'm one of those people that seemingly stare off into space but I'm really seeing what's in my mind's eye as clear as a picture before me. I often find when writing that really immersing myself in my world, even going so far as to talk out scenes between characters, is quite helpful. heart

Haha, well, when you study it in undergraduate courses, I would hope I might know something about it. The culture is fascinating, really. I am glad to know that I'm not the only writer who immerses them-self into their stories. I always treat my characters more as legitimate beings rather than my own imagination. Quite a few of my plot-ines have been hijacked due to this, I'm sure.

Nikkiquin I was aware of the larger sized homes (which take forever to load and lag BADLY). I had not heard of their being separate rooms in Gaia Homes (i.e. clicking on a door to enter a different area in the same home/flash space). Are you sure both of those exist James? ninja
Randomly, you didn't address my earlier comments to you in reference to Dark LordS. Did I clear up some confusion there? If not I could go into greater detail on their history. mrgreen the multiple rooms thing was announced right before they made towns 2 but idk if they actually implemented it or not brb dinner time Also i didnt care about a dark lord other than the one from the books

Huh, I didn't see that announcement. Though to be fair I missed quite a few for a while there. sweatdrop (I was offline more or less for about 5 months. It sucked.) I'll look in on that.
Well, Gellert Grindlewald is pretty important seeing as he's the reason Albus Dumbledore is the way he is. It's literally the turning point in Dumbledore's life. So if nothing else you should count Dark Lord Grindlewald (who comes up in the last book, Deathly Hallows). 3nodding He's the reason Dumbledore even had the Elder Wand since Gel found it in the first place.

Ha! That's the best sign when your characters take over the story. heart You know they're really alive and flowing through your fingertips when they suddenly change your whole perspective on the narrative. I swear sometimes it feels like they know more than I do lol. I've had times looking through a character's point of view where they're better able to convey what I was trying to say and failing. It's amazing how perceptive they can be!
It's awesome that you've studied a fair bit about that part of the world. If I get back to school someday I think I'll do my best to take at least a class or two on world studies. whee

Fair enough. 3nodding It's just that you'd said there was only one Dark Lord in Harry Potter so I felt obligated to clarify. I'm really fond of Dumbledore related stuff (especially his past) so I felt the need to speak up for dear Dark Lord Gellert. mrgreen Not to worry, Tom aka Voldemort is one of my favorite characters as well. I have a lot of love for him too. wink

Ah it's cool that you like Dumbledore as well! emotion_kirakira (My current avi is actually teenage Albus because I adore him.) A story from his point of view would make my decade. rofl
Potions is my favorite type of class because I've always had a fascination with them. When I was a kid I loved the pretend-play games where I was making potions... 3nodding Charms is useful and also fun so it's in my top four as is Transfiguration. (Although, Transfiguration being Dumbledore's favorite class probably helps its cause as well.) DADA rounds out my top four class picks because I find learning about both sides of something (conflicts, opinions or in this case magic) very important. Plus being able to defend yourself is necessary as a wizard, right? wink
Apparition and Flying Lessons are par for the course (though the thought of flying delights me), I don't like math so I'd probably hate Arithmacy. Ancient Runes and Astrology are actual things I enjoy in real life... mrgreen I'd likely be interested in those classes (plus ruins would be necessary for translating old potion texts). And as for History of Magic, I'm sure at the basic introductory level I'd like it. Once it moves onto tons of date memorization and endless droning about what feels like pointless motes in wizard history I'd get fed up. xp

Potions then Transfiguration for sure. I always enjoyed English (my native language) and Science classes in real life school. heart Chemistry was facinating and exciting. As far as magically concerned thinking goes, I'm very interested in the ways in which potion brewing and the ability to transform objects would impact ones daily life. 3nodding

I like the concept of thestrals (feared and misunderstood), so they're probably my favorite mythical beast in the Harry Potter world.
