"Both~" Amrita confirmed, watching Hel roll around on the blankets like DC did when he was in an excitable mood. "I don't know how to handle him. He's scary." Mac was not a nice person, and he was just so hostile looking all the time! He had never sat right with her.
"I think now I can just swap out parts if I have to." She mused, her head tilting. "It's just...going from nine to sixteen is a pretty big jump, physically. So we all had to start from scratch." But it was nice, even if it took her too long to get used to. Actually, she still wasn't used to it. Damn breasts.
When she lost again, she pressed her lips together.
"I can't think of anything else that embarrasses me, Hel."

“Amrita~” Hel drawled. “Do not stop trying.” She wagged a finger at the ghoul, and then snorted. “He is not scary. He is a giant pansy surrounded by a copious amount of barb wire, that is all.” Hel waved a hand and laughed, and then stilled as Amrita spoke.
“Ah, I see…I imagine that is easier than starting from scratch.” The ghoul nodded her head. “Understandable.” Hel looked over her cards, though as Amrita spoke, Hel gasped, and then snapped her head up.
“Whaaaaaaaat!” She cried. “You can not be out of stuff already!” The reaper paused…and then her lips curled up.
“You should tell me about Aymet.”
Since the topic Hel wanted to know about for a while came up, the reaper got distracted, and didn’t even put down any cards.

"The moment I stop trying is the moment after I die permanently." In this, at least, Amrita was incredibly serious. She was nothing if not determined, hellbent even, to succeed. Which was why Hel's earlier comments had hurt so badly.
"I'm out of stuff that I remember." She clarified. "I've got seven years of rotting brains and two of school events that I actively try to blank out." Which was an important distinction, you see. She was sure she had more stories, just none that would come to mind. Hel's suggestion made her pause though, and for one long moment she stared at the Reaper, trying to figure her out. Why the question all of a sudden?
"What about Aymet?" She asked slowly. "He's a very large skeletal dragon and current President of the Student Council." Her tone indicated that Hel should have known about these things already, and it was ridiculous to even ask.

“Awesome.” Hel commended with a grin. It was a sentiment she shared, actually, so she was happy to hear it.
“Uh huh. Suuure you are.” Hel didn’t sound very convinced, and as Amrita paused to stare at her, the ghoul knew she was on to something. Well…er…okay, Hel long knew she was onto something…so this reaction just confirmed it. “I do not know, Amrita…I am waiting for you to tell me what about Aymet.” Hel’s lips curled upwards.

Amrita simply stared. "I don't understand what it is you want to know."

Hel suddenly sprung up onto her palms.
“DO YOU LIKE HIM OR NOT!?” She cried. “AND I MEAN LIKE-LIKE!”

Amrita just continued to stare, even after Hel's sudden outburst startled her.
"...What?"

“Oh my Jack.” Hel stared at the ghoul.
“Do not play stupid with me, Amrita…I know you like Aymet!”

"Of course I do, he's a good boil!" Amrita stammered out, fidgeting with her hair for a moment before stilling. "--And what does that have to do with anything?!"

"You like him more than a friend!" The reaper was supposed to...announce but it came at more as an accusation. "Just admit it! You like him more than a friend! I see how flustered and defensive you get when he is brought up!"

Amrita continued to stare at Hel as though she didn't know how to process what she was being told, which was indeed the case. Hel was accusing her of liking Aymet more than a friend should, and using evidence that didn't really mean anything; a lot of subjects made her flustered and defensive, though mostly not in the good way.
"I don't know." She said slowly, her voice low. Aymet did have a way of making her dead heart stirr, or to entice the moths in her stomach to start fluttering...but... "I'm....I'm not sure if it's real..." She murmured, twisting her hands again.

To Hel…Amrita was just playing dumb. Yeah. Just playing dumb. Surely she knew how she felt! She was just so on top of everything else, clearly she had her love life sorted out?
Apparently not.
Hel looked flabberghasted.
“You…do not know?” She echoed, and then her face scrunched up. The reaper then got the rest of her quilts and padded them underneath herself and over herself as she settled back down on her stomach and rested her chin in her hands. Oh yes. It was that time. “What do you mean you are not sure if it is real? Certainly if you are feeling it, then it is real, ya?”

The patchwork nodded to confirm Hel's echo. It was clear to her that the Reaper didn't believe her, and that was okay; it was true, no matter what she thought. She didn't know what her feelings were; she had them, yes. Lots of them, even...but whether or not they were true legitimate feelings was still up in the air. Plus, there was Christof to think about too. Her love life was about as put together as a shattered stain glass window.
As Hel got comfortable, so did she. She shuffled back until she could lean against the edge of her bed, her knees pulled up to her chest and her feet tucked neatly under her. This game of embarrassment was turning into a real slumber party, and she wasn't entirely sure that she wanted it to turn out this way. Yet she still stared at Hel, and pondered her words, and wondered if she could say anything. Would there even be a point to this? Wouldn't the Reaper just use it against her, or worse, tell everyone else? Tell Christof? Or even Aymet?
"If I tell you, do you promise to keep this between the two of us? It doesn't leave this room at all?" Her suspicion was clear in her expression as she stared at the ghoul.

Idly, while waiting for Amrita to speak up, Hel had collected all the cards, stashed them, and then careless tossed them into her bag. She then resumed her position of resting her chin in her hands, and stared at the ghoul. Waiting.
Hel nodded her head. “Ya! I promise!” She assured, and then even made a ‘cross her heart’ expression on her chest. She didn’t miss how suspicious the ghoul sounded. “I truly have nothing to gain by knowing…it is purely for my own curiosity that I want to!” Hel was nosey, what could she say, and she liked to stick her nose into other creeple’s business that she was even remotely familiar with.

The look lingered a few moments after Hel's assurance, as Amrita pondered whether or not she should say anything. It wasn't entirely that she didn't trust the ghoul - she had no reason to not to trust her - it was simply that she didn't know who was listening now, and what could be used against her later. In the end she found no reason why not, since relationship problems were probably the least of the Hunter's worries. Not to mention that they already had Aymet and Christof's photos and files, so they clearly knew what was going on.
Amrita heaved a heavy sigh and leaned back a bit, twisting her hair through her fingers. "I don't know if it's real or not, because I have memories that are mine, but aren't." She explained awkwardly. "Does that make sense?"
