It is a pokemon that appears to care about appearance as much as Delilah does.

Some descriptions of Dewgong say that sailors once thought of them as mermaids sleeping on the pack ice and who wouldn't want to be thought of as a beautiful snow mermaid? Plus Dewgong just looks so graceful! xd

Username: Kailey Koreco Character's name: Devlin Levasseur Character references: LokePokemon: Mightyena Contest Category: Tough Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?: You mean besides the fact Mightyena and Loke are both scruffy mutts with tricks up their sleeves? My first thought was actually Poochyena - scruffy pup with a mouth too big for its own good. But Devlin has a minute more maturity under his belt to at least have a vague sense of when to keep his mouth shut. Sort of. Devlin's very much the sort to stick to a select few stubborn enough to stick out his less than pleasant behavior. He's a pack mate for life if you manage to make it through that social hell. As for Tough, the fact that category deals with sour and defensive stats just tickles me. Devlin's not the easiest to deal with, bit of a sourpuss himself at times. Besides. He doesn't really fit into any of the other categories. Smart and Beauty are a tad beyond him...

She carefully chooses most of her activities to produce the maximum amount of coolness. She also likes spicy food and is sometimes called Red. Flareon's design is, like Flannery's fashion sense, fairly simple. Flareon's fluff is also really dramatic, and Flannery finds that very appealing.

Charizard is firey, tempermental, and Rage is one of his most powerful attacks. Quinn having a hell of a temper makes me think that it's perfect for her. Also it's my favorite Pokemon, whatevs 8D And I chose tough because none of the others make sense for Quinn~

Also, Fleur's name means flower and Cybele has a nature theme. Shiny because it matches her colors better, beauty because it makes the most sense for her.

She's only slightly obsessed with them. Salamence is a dragon/flying type, which covers her love of dragons as well as the 'air' element she and her power side align with. Alex could care less about being cool or beautiful or cute, and while she's smart she more of the "let me hit you with my mace and ask questions later". BESIDES Salamence is a BA and I love them so.

Why did you pick this combination of Pokemon and Contest Category for your character?: From Bulbapedia: When [the legendary birds] fight over territory, Lugia is the only Pokémon that can quell their ceaseless fighting... because of the devastating power it could accidentally inflict, it isolates itself deep underwater and tends to sleep in solitude."
While Lydia isn't really one for solitude, she does, as her sphere would indicate, aim to quell conflict whenever possible. She also has a tendency to go overboard when fighting, and so avoids even friendly spars to spare her allies from senseless violence. Lugia's avian nature matches the feathery accents on Irene's uniform, as well. Lydia doesn't see herself as particularly beautiful or smart or tough or cool (unless someone insinuates that she's not), but she knows that she can be considered cute, so there we go!
