Kyrie squeezed his hand happily when he promised he wouldn't tell a soul. Looking up at him as he went on, she listened carefully to his words and took comfort in them as well. "I like that. I like you Graff," she said simply with a nod. Part of her hoped that Nuhava would be as nice so that they could spend time together. Stopping in the street, she released his hand and dug into the small pouch filled with shinies she wore at her waist. After a few moments, she produced a bracelet made of black cord with a few beads made of carved bone strung on it. "Here. So you won't ever forget," she smiled and held it up to him.

When she stopped, he would stop as well, pondering if something was wrong. It became evident enough that nothing was wrong, and he stared for a moment when she dug the bracelet out of her pack.
That was for him ? He would take it, and carefully put it on his wrist. "Thank you, Kyrie. i'll wear it so you can watch over me no matter where I go." Gods could do this kinda thing, right ? "I won't forget."

Kyrie puffed her feathers proudly and she nodded her head sagely. An expression beyond her years settled in her blue eyes and she reached out to take his hand again. "Always Graff," she promised with a nod. Then as quickly as the wizened expression had settled in her eyes, it was gone and replace with her usual youthful enthusiasm. "Let's get that seed then I can introduce you to Maggie!"

That look in her eyes right there had been quite errie. She was a child... But she also understood much more than she knew the words to explain.
"Yeah." He grinned. "Wouldn't want her to be hungry for too long." And so they would go.
