Having listened into the conversation over the collective SNAGs, Reno remained silent before trying to remember what each event this lady involved in had caused. There was Celadon City, where she appeared to be the source of a chi barrier that prevented teleportation into the city, although that could have been a Pokemon. What he did know was not Pokemon caused was the mental control that occurred across the people in that strange place. What she did appear to be linked to was a man who had stared projecting an image into people's minds if they could not resist the mental apparition. And it appeared she was also likely the cause of a Rocket member hurling himself at the lab for a savior to appear, gather a crowd for Snagem's appearance and lead the member away to allow for a clean getaway. Feeling a strange air of familiarity to these powers, Reno finally decided to speak up in response to the questions asked.

"So what we've seen so far is possession of a man, the ability ta project a different image ta the minds of those who perceive the being, and somehow being able ta brute force multiple people into a zombie-like state fer control via simple verbal commands. The first two would make me think a Ghost channeler or somethin' like that, but with the fact most of it appears ta only influence the mind, I have a conclusion. We are dealing with a Psychic channeler who learned actual skills beyond pure, brute psychic force and instead influences people's minds. Heck, that might even explain the crowd in front of the lab and how trustworthy you found her, Kaya. Instead of forcing you ta see somethin' else, she simply would have made your more trustworthy side shine out when you two were talking and work from there." Reno offered as a possible solution before looking to away from the camera projecting his face into the SNAGs screen.

"Guys, we 'ave a new issue. It appears Pallet Town has....just gone dark. There isn't a single thing comin' from there now. I think we really need ta investigate this one."

"Well, Sub, you could always try a few rounds with me after this. I may not be packin' a full arsenal of skills but some basic mental examination and that is right up my alley. Although I might have a few other tricks up my sleeve. But, back on topic, I'm sendin' in transport now." Without missing a beat between words and its occurrence, the Claydol spun into existence in the midst of the group, already calculating them into a teleport towards Pallet Town if they wished to go this way.

What would be found upon arrival would be broken doors into houses, smashed windows, graffiti on the buildings, and the townspeople simply standing around with glassy eyed expressions as they stood still. The trail of destruction and vandalism would have an odd trail to it, sweepings of glass leading in the general direction of the houses further away.

"A thread huh?" Sub asked as he appeared with the others, hearing Odd's comment about the town's people. "Everything thread can be cut, you just need a sharp enough pair of scissors. I think I might just have the pair we need, me. And I don't mean my dark parts. See what I did there?" He laughed at his own joke, if you could call it that. "Ahem...yeah, since it seems to be a mental link between them all, controlled by a puppet master and what not. Cut the main line and set all others free from their control. Though that assumes the puppet master is nearby." He suggested. "Alternatively it could work like a radio broadcast. The channeler is far off somewhere transmitting his or her psychic powers, using a medium to transmit them through, which said medium would probably be somewhere near here. Don't mind me, just rambling on." He shrugged. "Why this is going on though, I have no idea."

Odd would take the lead before even Sub had a chance to react to the Psychic bursts. With Cadenza heading even him. The Shedinja's Wonder Guard would disrupt the psychic waves and Odd's momentary lapse into intangibility would open a small rift between worlds, sucking in the now free roaming chi before he regained solidity.

"Not so fast!" Lykas exclaimed as he allowed his chi to flare up, releasing his energy all at once to lay a Hex upon the robed figure. It's mind would be assaulted by a seemingly endless flow of negativity before Lykas ended the attack.

Kaya.....just stood there at first. He was stunned by the reaction speed of these two. Both with so much strength of their own that neither truly relied exclusively on their Pokemon but worked with them and levied their partnered strengths against their foes. After a moment or two longer of speechlessness, he finally gained a moment of clarity. "String Shot!" He called as he released Primrose.

The Leavanny appeared from her ball with thread already spilling out of her mouth. The robed figure being the primary target of this attack, though it was released in a wider range than straightforward, just in case.

The figure would be quickly downed by the combination of physical and spiritual entrapment, the body collapsing to the floor before it popped and was replaced by a substitute typically projected by Pokemon using the titular attack. Up upon the rooftops, the same figure rose from cover before tossing a Pokeball, releasing an Onix above the group, allowing gravity to take over this assault. "Unfortunately, seeing IS NOT believing around me!!" The loud, distinctly feminine voice shouted down at the group, fleeing the rooftops towards the edge of town.

Kaya and Lykas were able to dive out of the way of Onix just in time to not be crushed under it, though neither could find Odd when they got up from they the shockwaves sent them tumbling. "Please tell me he got out of the way...." Kaya muttered as he looked around.

"He made it. Odd's too good to let something like this beat him." Lykas assured the human man as he turned his focus towards the escaping woman. "Take this!" He shouted as he fired off a massive torrent of water from his forehead jewel, Water Spout attempting to overtake their foe and wash her into submission.

Help would arrive for them when Odd emerged from the earth beneath the woman, Phasing out of the ground with a little help from Cadenza's Telekinesis. The Ghost Channeler attempted to grab the woman's ankles as he emerged, his intangibility ending for his hands alone as he became solid a little at a time.

"Krow!" Nevermore cawed from the skies above the psychic assailant. The crow would spread her wings out wide, a blob of darkness growing outward from her body. This creeping darkness would quickly grow and take on the shape of a large flat disk of pitch black energy, floating above Nevermore as she flew. It was Night Shade. The disk in the sky blocked out the light from above it and cast a large shadow down on the ground where the enemy ran, Nevermore making a point to follow to keep the shadow on it.

The shadow's purpose would soon become obvious as the shadow that was Sub and Griswold would disappear into the much larger shadow, their exact location now unknown to the woman. A barrage of small Shadow Balls would then begin to fire up from the large shadow, whizzing through the air at the enemy. The Shadow Balls were fired off in such a way to keep the person within the shadow even if they missed.

Nevermore would get caught in the electrical web, the bird flopping around to try and free its self as it fell towards the ground, though its attempts were in vain. Sub would try and use such a distraction to his advantage before the Night Shade disappeared and revealed his location. Carried by the Spiritomb wrapped around him, Sub would leap high up into the air, out of the shadow, heading straight for the roof it seemed the woman was about to land on, hoping to catch her off guard once they both landed, delivering a swift kick to her midsection
