With one last hit, Vaneda shoved the sword into the ground and stared at the creature. She was done.
She couldn't do anymore than this.

Shasa did not blink an eye as she tumbled after the creature, the sounds of battle barely registering in her ears. She was not alone, and that fact made her bolder. There were voices she recognized here - Shaw, Vaneda, Remye. They gave her a willpower that she would not have otherwise had, and with a loud cry, Shasa unleashed a barrage of bullets into the beast. She would not let this all be in vain. Even as she fired again, Shasa could not ignore the doubt that weighed heavily on her mind. What would have happened if she'd not attacked? What would happen now that she had? Furiously, Shasa fired again. The bullets seemed to nearly explode inside of the beast, ripping holes into its muscular shoulders and side. The weapon felt oddly comfortable in her grasp, and for a moment Shasa was filled with a sense of power. Bullets surged forth, spraying the beast with such fervor that Shasa was left feeling a little surprised. There was such power in these weapons, and Shasa felt an odd surge of melancholy - from where, she was not sure, but that sense of longing nearly blinded her. Shasa's final barrage of bullets had the beast crumpling, and despite the immediate surge of satisfaction there was also a sense of sorrow. She couldn't help but wonder if she'd made a mistake - surely the Goddess knew the beast resided in these caverns. Holstering her weapons, Shasa moved towards the corpse. Remye watched the beast go down as the final in their group joined the frey, taking it down on her own. She grinned, leaning into her spear as she moved forward to collect her loot. "Nice battle, guys. Almost too easy, yeah?" Says the one who was almost dead. Right. She picked up her shinies, lighting up some over the red piece.
Guns guns guns.

Sarviur watched another contender enter, and stood back to avoid backlash from the fight. At least now the beast had fallen.

"Wow." Shaw was rendered nearly speechless by Shasa's sudden appearance and equally sudden and effective assault. Something about seeing her like this, fierce and wild and more than a little dangerous - He shook his head. It was strange, like deja-vu. Almost as if he'd seen it before, in another place. He prodded the beast, grabbing a few glowing fragments before following after her.
