"Won't want to go in it, either. I went in to get a maned wolf to stop yapping, rather anoying critter. "
Oh yes, that wolf was very annoying. All: Ooh, wanna be my friend!? Especially because she hated canines. She just rather not pick on what was smaller and weaker. Of coruse, when hunting, the idea was compleetly different. She dosen't really seem to mind the leopard jumping in the water, besides, she could just splash him if she wanted to. She should go find the lion cub sometime, didn't want him to get killed now did she? Both she and the cub had problems with their mothers.
Well, at least Tatu could climb trees, that provided him some safety. She moves deeper into the water, so she can fully submerge, sense it wasen't only on her undersides that she was dirty. "There are so many fish here. " She mutters, if you stay still enough, some curious ones would come nibble your tail.
Pity she wasen't hungry.

Keone looked at her thoughtfully and made a mental note to never go into a thorn patch. He'd never been in one, but he certainly didn't like the idea of doing so, and decided to take her word for it.
His tail moved behind him as he swam, almost looking like it was alive, it probably did to the fish below, which might have been why a few of the braver ones followed him through the water, seeming to track it's movements. His ears perked, turning to the leopardess when he heard her mention the fish.
"Those ones there taste the best."
He nodded and pointed enthusiastically toward a patricularly shiny and silvery fish with a red belly. Though with all the fish in the water it might not have been obvious which one he meant.

She dosen't have much trouble locating the fish, she too preffered that one. "Here. " In a two movements, she bats the fish out of the water and into the air. The first was to confuse it, the second to get it. the fish was alive, in case the leopard wasen't to want it, but it would be easy to catch. If it were any injured, it'd probably be a bruise-- f fishes could bruise. She'd been carefull to leave her claws sheathed.
But after that, she simply dives down into the water, moving her paws to go deeper, it was always good to do that sometimes, but she had to go up for air soon after, not being a master of holding breath.

Instinctively the leopard reached out to catch the fish, his paws closing around it. But he had just eaten and he wasn't really hungry right now, and as fish was only good fresh, he didn't want to kill it. Instead he held it in the water, staring at it, watching as the light reflected off its body. But the fish didn't stay stunned for long and it was now thrashing, wriggling to free itself of his grasp. As Keone had not used his talons and his grip wasn't tight, the fish was able to free itself, slipping from between his paws to swim off into the depths of the water again.
Green eyes reflected on the water as he swam, looking through the crystal to watch all the fish. Keone loved fish, not only were they tastey, they were also beautiful and he enjoyed watching them.
Every few minutes or so he would look up to Karama and flash a goofy grin before looking back to the fish. The water was he playground and he never tired of it.

The leopard had dove down a few times, before slipping out of the water and shaking herself try, then starting to lick her fur down. She was done getting clean, and she was also done trying to get to the bottom of the lake.
"I suggest you look out. "
Sh motions, a few feet away from the white leopard is a snake, that had just came, curious about the commotion in the water. She knos it isn't likely for the snake to swim over and attack, but sense the male did seem distracted, he could swim toards it. Though, it wasen't too big, easy to handle if needed.

Keone had been too preoccupied with the fish and swimming around to notice the snake. Looking up at Karama his eyes followed her gaze to where she was pointing. Snake, and it was close to him, too close for comfort. He quickly swam away, sending water splashing in every direction as he made his way toward shore then scrambled onto the bank.
He sat, dripping wet, panting for breath. He had learned early on to avoid snakes and that they could move very quickly if they wanted to make a meal out of you. He shivered.
"I don't like snakes."

She shrugs her shoulders.
"Me neither. "
Snakes were always dangerous, and you'd need to know wich one to get close to, too. There were the poisonous ones, for example, some would be a certain death to a leopard. She'd seen one kill a wildabeast before, and those were even bigger, stronger than she was. She gives a small snort, the snake over there wasen't poisonous though, it didn't have bright colors, and its head was also in the rong shape.
"Were ou ever bitten by one? "

It took several minutes for the young leopard to catch his breath and for the sound of his own pounding heart to leave his ears. Water streamed through his still drenched fur, he hadn't bothered to shake off yet, leaving small puddles on the bank as the droplets fell to the ground. His tail curled around around his paws, green eyes still focused on where the snake had been.
Though he had been fortunate enough to avoid the more deadly vipers, he had had a rather rude awakening by a good sized boa constrictor that he'd thought for sure was going to try to eat him. He shuddered as he remembered what it'd felt like to have the snake slither over him, though the incident had probably left the snake as scared as he was.
Finally he shook his head without looking up, "It...tried to eat me."

What could seem like a big deal to this male, was no suprize to the female. Thats what snakes were the for, kill and eat. And live. If one was to take that in thought, snakes weren't so different from the rest, their reason was the same, stay alive.
"What did you do to get away? Those things move their heads faster than we move paws. "
It was true, snakes were fast attackes, and were much more successful than she would ever be, in that, she envied snakes. But on the other hand, she could run.

The leopard shivered, vissibly shaken by the snake appearing nearby, but now it was no longer in site (his thrashing had probably scared it off) and he was starting to regain himself. Though the tip of his tail still twitched nervously.
"Kicked it out of the tree."
He had been sleeping in a tree at the time, and the snake was simply passing through. However being awakened by a large snake crawling over you was enough to make anyone think they were going to be eaten. The snake had been more interested in the bird's nest nearby, but Keone didn't know that.

He'd probably been lucky, maybe he'd suprized it as much as it had suprized him. She starts to move through the trees again, not really able to think of anything else to say, accept an 'oh'. She dosen't really feel like staying in the forest for long, but it woulden't really hurt to stay longer, like she had anything to do.
"Did ya ever go anywere other than here? "
It'd be odd if he didn't, by what she was used to, most leopards kept moving around.

Finally realizing just how wet he was, Keone stood to four paws and shook from head to tail, sending droplets of water splattering against the nearby folliage. He took a few steps after Karama, his head titled curiously, not quite sure what she had asked.
"What do you mean?" Did she mean places besides the river, or did she mean places outside the jungle. He was sure he had told her he had always been in the jungle.
Though he had often watched life outside from the edge of the jungle, he had never dared to leave the sanctuary of green. The jungle was his home, here he knew where he was. On the savanah he would be lost.

What did she mean? Wasen't that a litte obvious itself? "Like, did you ever go anywere out of the jungle? The desrt, mistweaver's forest, savvanah, anything? " The leopardess coulden't imagine always staying in one place, she'd been to many places, but not too long in the desert, too few trees, and she knew there were those.. Red lions there.
"I could show you, if you want. "
It'd probably do him some good if he got out at least for a while, he seemed naive, might as well learn about the other things out there, no?

The leopard stopped in his tracks, green eyes blinking in confusion. He shook his head, he had never left the jungle.
"Mist..weaver? What's that? I've always been in the jungle."
The jungle was vast, plenty big enough for him anyways. It was filled with water and trees and fish and mice. Everything he needed or wanted was here, why would he have ever left?
It was then that the gravity of what she had suggested hit him. Keone blinked, and shyed back to sit on his haunches, his tail curling around his paws nervously.
"You mean....leave the jungle?"

"Just if you want. "
She yawns, lying down and streching out her paws, she'd probably be leaving soon. The more she moved, less chance of something bad finding her. If she remained in one place, it'd be easy to know were to look for her, that was why Karama just coulden't settle.
"Stay if you wish, though, you don't need to come, nor do I need to stay, we do what we like. "
Karama had always thought that way, no one could tell her what to do, and she coulden't tell others what to do either. Fair is fair, your the owner of your own nose.
