Trying for the Soul achievement!
SOLO She fiddled with the blank tag around her neck, tugging at it, examining it. So strange. She wasn't wearing this before, so where did it come from? And... why was it all black?
Lifting it as high as she could without taking it off, she stared at it curiously. Maybe if she asked the goddesses? But after she gave up those fragments (she kind of missed them. She liked the warmth), they had disappeared, leaving her feeling...
Huh. She couldn't remember. But she did feel a bit... stronger? Braver? She wasn't quite sure. Her heart seemed to glow a brighter yellow, but those weren't the only tasks assigned to them. There were others. Blessings, or so she was... told? Here, she met so many new friends, so many experiences. And... this!
She placed a hand on her heart, pulling out a pair of daggers from them. She wasn't sure how, but when she was helping fight against a big scary thing, she had managed to find these! And... she closed her hand, opening them again, two starbursts in them. She wasn't sure what these were, but she liked them a lot. So shiny, and pretty! She liked finding shiny things.
And meeting new friends! Lanoam seemed kind of grumpy, but she liked him. And Viola'i! Oh, Thean too, and... ah, ReDawn and Ripple. So many new friends! They all had these shiny white pins, and she wanted to ask them about it, but, well, she didn't know a lot about her own tag, so maybe they didn't know too much about the pin also? But then again, she didn't ask. It was ok though. Figuring these things out were part of the adventure! She liked adventure. It was fun!
Fighting together, finding things, making new bonds, creating new memories...
Even if she didn't remember what happened before, that didn't mean she wouldn't remember things happening now. And so she looked forward to everything, excited to see where this all led.
With a hop and skip, she twirled, daggers in hand. With these, she felt as if she could take on anything! Though fighting was fun, she knew it was also somewhat dangerous. If she wasn't careful, she or someone she cared about could get hurt. She didn't want to see that. Maybe, with more blessings, she could be stronger. Maybe if she completed more tasks, the goddesses would help her, giving her the strength to be able to fight off these monsters.
Pain. Tears. Sadness. She didn't want this. She wanted others to be happy, others to smile.
And so, she would seek the goddesses' help. They would help her, wouldn't they? If she got more blessings, she would be stronger. And they would help her!
Yes, she would do this. For the sake of her friends, her new wonderful friends.
