There was a hint of glee as she found the soft spot in it's hide again. Fighting was something she seemed to know how to do, and there was comfort in that.

Not to mention pride when a hit landed. She grinned as she shoved the blade in.

She gave it one last final smack across the nose before the beast collapsed in a heap on the ground.

As the fog began to reclaim the beast's body slowly, Falair moved to begin gathering what she could before it disappeared. Crouching next to the large body and picking up a few shiny bits.

Upon standing she turned to her companions with a smile, giving them each a wide grin. "Good job you guys. This one was a tough b*****d but we did it."

Shiny bits indeed. Shaheen also moved forward once the beast was slain, watching it as it faded back to the mists, but stooping down once to pluck up a couple of very interesting pieces to add to her ever growing collection.

"It was a pleasure." She murmured, barely giving the others much of a look now that the battle was won. She was still so full of memories, of jigsaw pieces that didn't quite fit together. There was a sadness inside of her, and longing, and a burning hatred for something called hunters.

It was more confusing then when she had known nothing about herself at all.

"Thank you." She finished, before loping off into the fog.

The beast fell, and Sherry felt good. Pride? She almost smiled at that. Almost laughed.

She was grinning as she leaned in to see what she could scavenge from the remains of the fallen beast, before there was nothing left.

"That we did," she was grinning as she spoke. "Not to bad."
