Not far away, Rostym was exploring the Moon Pool as well. Why was it not red like their moon anyway? How odd.
She had simply tossed some water on her face to freshen up, cupping another handful to drink, and as she swallowed her eyes traced her surroundings. When she spotted Vaneda, however, she immediately stopped. Blinked. Paused.
"V...aneda...?"
Hope rose in her louder than any voice with its strange murmurs, and the shadow rose to her feet and slowly made her way to the other, peering. "Vaneda! Oh goddess, you're here!"
Something twinged in her heart at their reunion, but for now she took it as simply a blessing.

At first, she doesn't recognize the voice, but her head curiously turns up as she see's Rostym and gives the girl a relieved yet lazy smile. The relieved part, she is not sure why but the lazy smile she did.
"Hello my nap partner!" She jokes, remember their last conversation, gesturing the girl to sit next to her. For some reason her arms outstretched out for the girl to climb into, if she so wished it. "Have you been blessed by the goddess yet?"

Her steps felt lighter the closer she got, until the girl was breaking out into a smile by the time she reached Vaneda. "Nap partner!" she chirped back as she got to her knees, driven by an unknown force into her friend's arms. But it was nice to hold someone for a few moments, even if she didn't understand why the motion would comfort her.
"Um, depends! I'm questing around for memories still," Ross replied with a bob of her head when she pulled away, hands linked in her lap. "I want to try and taste all the emotions...How about you, anything happen?"

The hug felt right. It felt good, so she lingered on it till the girl pulled away. "Nap partners! Partners in crime." Vaneda winked, "That's what we should be."
her hands move back to prop herself up as her feet dangle in the water, looking at the large pearl hanging over it.
"The same. There is some keywords I know now. Deus. Mist hunters. Twins and Sister. Best friend? I can't place them all, or who they are or what they are but..." Vaneda shrugs, "It's coming back at least. I just hope it won't keep disappearing because of the goddesses." She frowned, "Why do you think they take away our memories?"
Ross tilted her head as she spoke, wearing a curious expression. Deus...Mist...Hunter...Sister...These were also words that had bled through to her ever since the last blessing. "Crime?" she echoed with a hesitant look. "I don't know...but partners I'd like!"
She fingered the pendant at her neck in thought. "Maybe they need the memories to build something?" Ross offered. "Maybe they're sacrificing them to something else..." But what was higher than a goddess? She shivered to think about it. "I'm curious also about these blue necklace things--not everyone has one, and I've seen people with tiny skull things and red swirls instead..."

"Crime!" Oh but Ross's face was a little perplexed and so Vaneda took her hand in hers and squeezed it, "Don't worry, nothing that will get us in trouble." She winked with her only eye, understanding now that she was different than others. She hadn't seen many with only half sight like herself.
"Like the wall?" Vaneda had been to the wall plenty of times, and she knew that her memories were being taken there. She didn't voice that the wall made her feel caged in, that if they moved past it, it would be time to face something even bigger.
"Same here, Hun." She pulled out her pendant....Idly playing with it. "Have you noticed the ones with pumpkins and swirls are different shaped than us? Some have wings, and tails and ears? I wonder what that means too?"
