Yuan Ka-Fai
Guardian of the World Tree
══════════════════════════
Location: The World Tree | Company: A strange-looking Elf. (Rhone)

Yuan remained calm and unfazed at the stranger that entered the area. Sure, his appearance was off for an Elf (as he had determined by the mana signature), but after four thousand years of living and practically seeing it all, there is little that manages to surprise him. But what was that at his chest? He could sense it was an Exsphere, but...there was something off about it as well. But what startled him was that he had the nerve to brush past him and get that close to the World Tree. And did he mention that he wanted to do some testing on it?

Turning toward the intruder, he commanded in a stern and warning tone, "You will do no such thing. Step away from the World Tree. NOW." He clenched his fists at his sides, holding down the anger that was rising within him. If he weren't so close to the Tree, he would have already struck him with his weapon or a spell. Instead, instinct dictated what it thought was the next best course of action to take—to flare out his mana wings. Perhaps that would convey to the fool what exactly he had trespassed on.

LUTZ
Where: Mana Tower 2F
With: No one?
Status: Hurt and confused

Lutz panted franticly as he ran from the human soldiers, coming to a stop he turned to face them I can't run anymore he gathered what little mana was around him into his hand ''shtizë e akull!'' he yelled as he sent out a wave of icy spears at them, at that moment fire and light magic clashed above them, Lutz screamed as everything turned blue and white and he was hurled into the air, he tumbled for awhile before coming out into a stone room, he cried out as he crashed into the floor,
moaning and holding his forehead he staggered to his feet ''ugh...what happened? where am I?'' he leaned on a wall and looked around in confusion

"Yeah, I can do that too. Listen, I'm not going to harm the tree. If I wanted to do that, it'd have already been done. Probably would've just altered your barrier to purge the area of mana or something instead of just going through the thing."

He slowly stands up and faces Yuan.

"Don't you sense something wrong with the world? Yet everything is still serene here. I don't want to do anything to the tree... I want to see what the tree's effects on corrupted tissue is. Yuan Ka-Fai, Kratos Aurion, and Azura Cantarella
The Guardian of the World Tree, The Traitor to Heaven, and the Azure Shadow
═════════════════════════════════════
Location: The World Tree | Company: A strange-looking Elf. (Rhone)

As the lady walked alongside Kratos, she took the portal-generating devices off her gloves and placed them in a blue shoulder bag she was carrying. Then, her eyes darted around everywhere and her head whipped about with them, her movements akin to an energetic and curious kitten. In the moments she'd keep her head still, she would close her eyes to either focus on her hearing or sniff at the air.

"...Huh. Not too much different from home, so far. Has much of the same wildlife," she mused out loud.

Kratos arched a brow, a little surprised she could gather that much. "How could you tell?"

She grinned. "Well I have keen senses myself. Sight, hearing, smell..." Sniffing the air a little again, she imagined the deer that once grazed in a spot they just passed by, the rabbit that had hopped across the path they were going along, the birds that once perched in the trees...then suddenly stopped in place and perked up in alertness. She picked up a scent that was not animal...in fact, it was close to that of a person...of the Elven folk on her home world.

Kratos had stopped himself, his angelic hearing picking up on a conversation in the distance.

Yuan remained unfazed by the man's display. In fact, he was more annoyed that he seemed to have a slight arrogance about him.

"Hmph. Just who the hell are you anyway." He folded his arms rather tensely. "Understand this. As its Guardian, I have very little tolerance for the World Tree being approached that closely without fair warning. And how exactly did you even infiltrate the barrier?" A pause for thought. The stranger did have a fair point, but he wasn't about to let his guard down. "I'll take your word for it, for now, but don't think I am so naive that I don't know my fair share of deception games." After all, he had committed many of his own. He held to the suspicion that he could be trying to play the nice guy now, only to turn the tables when he least expected.

His old friend sounded hostile. It appeared that there was someone in the vicinity of the World Tree who shouldn't really be. This was all cause for concern.

"...I take it he doesn't get visitors often?" his acquaintance quipped in the form of a question, also showing that she picked up on the conversation as well.

"Precisely. Let's hurry," he urged.

Yuan quietly sighed. "Or course I do. On top of that, I've been getting precise reports on what exactly has been happening around the world. Now, how are you going to do that? And what did you mean by—"

He stopped mid-sentence as he sensed some mana activity nearby, then pinched his brow and gave a more audible, exasperated sigh. What could that be now? (Wait a minute...) The activity felt like an angelic arte. In fact, the counterspell to bestow immunity to the barrier upon somebody. His eyes widened in shock, his hand moved from his forehead to his mouth, and his mana wings dissipated from his sheer surprise. The only other person who could know such a spell was supposed to be on Derris-Kharlan!

Yuan looked in the direction he could sense that familiar presence approaching from, and dropped his hand from his face. "It...it can't be! ...Kratos?!"

The auburn-haired, purple-clad seraph lightly stepped from the shadows and into view. "Yuan," he simply greeted, with an acknowledging nod. Then he looked to the dark-skinned...apparently winged Elf, his stoic expression unchanging. "Is there a problem here?"

Catching up beside him was a blue-skinned woman with a height that would make her seem like a child, at five feet even, if only she didn't look too developed to be one. She had long blue hair and pointed Elf-like ears as well, but her golden eyes seemed to have a slight feral quality to them—in fact, they seemed to glow softly from catching the light in the area. Her manner of dress gave an air of wealth; a golden circlet upon her head, a closed royal blue coat with golden trim, a fluffy white cravat hanging from her neck, and black boots with blue and silver trim. Overall, the outfit was also themed with blue gems—one at the center of her circlet, one set in a gold brooch and affixed to her cravat, and a pair adorning her boots.

She blinked and tilted her head to the side, looking puzzled as she set her glance on tall, red-haired Elf with bat wings as well. "Well that's a surprise," looking up at Kratos she continued, "I thought you said my kind didn't exist here?"

Zaul Oleander
The One-Eyed Gunman
══════════════════════════
Location: Hima | Company: Maka and Soul

"It ain't no problem at all," the man replied, smiling back, "Maka 'n Soul, eh...?" 'Soul' kind of sounded like an odd name for a kid, but there was no use in questioning it. He gave a bit of a bow and introduced himself as well. "Well mah name's Zaul. Pleasure ta make yer 'quaintance."

With that, he picked Soul up and carried him toward the tavern/inn he was on his way to, making sure to maintain a pace Maka could keep up with. Once there, he just walked through the open doorway and immediately made his way to the staircase that led up to the small bedrooms upstairs. However, he was stopped for a moment by the tavernkeep's call from the front desk.

"Hey—"

"Ah don' think we'll be too long," Zaul cut him off, knowing just what to say, "But if we do, Ah'll foot th' bill. Kid's got an ailment, 'n y'know th' town's doc's got 'is hands full at th' moment."

"...Fine," the tavernkeep conceded. Pointing at him accusingly, he continued, "but know that we're keepin' an eye on ya."

(Well, there goes lunch, prob'ly,) he jokingly thought to himself as he began ascending the stairs. Claiming the nearest open room, he finally set Soul down on the bed, made sure Maka was in as well, then closed the door.

"Ah'll be frank...Ah had ta git us away from pryin' eyes 'cause mah spellcastin' style can look mighty dodgy when Ah use it fer a healin' spell." Smirking, he drew one of his spellguns out of its holster and twirled it showily on his finger for a second. It looked fashioned after a flintlock pistol, only it was actually without a flintlock mechanism. Instead, there was a glass lens situated behind the back end of the barrel with a glyph carved into it so that it could serve as a mana channeler.

Zaul rested the tip of his spellgun on Soul's stomach, then firmly but lightly pressed it in a little more. "This's ta reduce th' noise. Ah swear this ain't what it looks like, Maka...jus' bear with me here." He sounded sincere, and yet...he was grinning kind of mischievously.

"Healin' forces..." The spellgun's glass lens began to glow white. "...cleanse this defiled body." A small magic circle, also white, appeared, hovering over the lens. "Recover."

With a pull of the trigger, there was a loud but muffled BANG. The impact would feel like quite a punch in the gut to Soul, only surprisingly painless. A white aura enveloped his body and lingered for a few seconds then slowly dissipated into particles that floated into the air and disappeared. And with that, the feeling of paralysis should have been lifted from Soul.

Maka Albarn - Soul Eater Evans
Location Hima || Mood Relieved, Tired, Hungry Confused || Company Zaul
Mana 100% 100% || Stamina 5% 32% || Overlimit 0%

Zaul. She' never heard any names like that before. Then again, there were a lot of names that weren't normal. Soul and Spirit were good examples of that. "Yeah. Nice to meet you, too, Zaul." Did she say that right? It was hard to tell because he had an accent and everything. Watching as Zaul picked Soul up and carried him, she was relieved she didn't have to drag him anymore and followed after the other. Walking into the inn, Maka looked around. It was small, but had a very comfortable air in it. Or, at least in the lobby area. Where are we? I've never been here before. She definitely wasn't in Death City anymore. That was for sure.

Maka listened to the encounter between Zaul and the innkeeper, and she was ready to tell him to butt out when things were settled as fast as they started. Whoever Zaul was, he seemed to know just what to say and do. And, what did the innkeeper mean when he said they'd be keeping an eye on Zaul? Oh, no. Don't tell me Soul and I are with some sort of thief. Shaking her head, Maka wouldn't think like that. Not for now. She just wanted Soul to get better. She walked into the room with Zaul and watched as he shut the door after setting Soul on the bed before he told her that they had to be out of sight. Huh? What does that mean? She had a confused look on her face now, feeling like it was her first time playing basketball all over again.

Zaul pulled out a gun and Maka paled like she'd just seen a ghost. "H-Hey, what are you--" She was cut off when he spoke again, and even though she was still skeptical, she really didn't have a choice but to let him do what he was doing. It wasn't like she had the energy or strength to fight him. All she could really do was stand there as he pressed the gun against Soul's stomach and...chanted some sort of spell. When he pulled the trigger, Maka covered her eyes and turned, imagining the worst. Again. But, after a few minutes, Soul groaned and Maka looked back at him. "Soul!"

Running over to the bed, she leaned forward to look at him. He was fine. "Soul? How are you feeling?" Soul looked up at Maka with tired, red eyes before sitting up a bit. "Like I ate month old sushi. My stomach is killing me. But, I'm fine other than that." Maka sighed in relief before she glared at Soul. Then, out of nowhere, she pulled out a book and hit him over the head with it. "Hey, what the hell, Maka!?" "What were you thinking eating an unknown soul, you idiot!? You're lucky it only paralyzed you and didn't kill you!" Soul rubbed his head and looked away from her. "Yeah. I learned my lesson. No more eating souls blindly like I did....Anyway, whose this guy?" "Oh, this is Zaul. He's the one that helped you recover." Soul looked at Zaul and raised an eyebrow. He didn't look like anyone he'd ever met. Well, maybe except his ears. They reminded him of Free's ears. "Thanks, I guess. So, Maka, did you find out where we are and how to get back to Death City?" Maka glared at him. How was she supposed to find that out when she was busy looking after him?

Mamizou Futatsuiwa
The Uncaught Tanuki Disguiser
~
Current Form: Human

Location: Near Sybak
Company: Unknown Girl (Tear Grants) and Unknown Man (Cross Malacki)

As it turned out, both the girl and the guy had no idea where any of them were. This was very odd; usually, the people of the outside world knew where they were, as they would move around quite a lot. But, these two seemed rather young, so it could be carelessness. "Now now, there's no point in apologizing for being lost; if you don't know where you are then you don't know, that's all." Mamizou told the girl. The girl had asked the man if he knew where they were (as previously stated), but he thought that the girl would have known where they were, due to something her called mana, which he apparently sensed in the girl.

Mamizou wished to ask about it, but the man had said that her mana was similar to their current location's mana, so it must be something that is common here, and as Mamizou was trying to stay undercover, she could not risk blowing her hiding spot just yet, so she did not ask. The man also wished for the three of them to continue their discussion else where, as he had a feeling that this place had a manner of strong beasts. He was right, in a sense.
"Oh yes, that seems like an exquisite idea!" Mamizou agreed. She looked at their surroundings to see what was close to them. The tanuki had a rather hard time making out things in the distance, as her eyesight was not what it used to be. She did, however, see some sort of browny-orange blur. "Oh! What about that?." She said, pointing to the blur she saw in the distance. "Can either of you tell what that is; my eyesight is not what it used to be." Mamizou laughed, not ashamed of her poor vision.

Mamizou had noticed that they had not introduced themselves to one another yet (which was a sort of normal occurrence in the outside world when random strangers meet), but she did not mind it as it allowed her to keep her identity hidden until she chose it to be revealed. But, if she had to give her name, or another name, then she would. It couldn't be that bad, right?

"Meltokio? London?" Aeris blinked for a moment as she took another moment to look around her surroundings. She wasn't familiar with Meltokio or anywhere called London, then again she haven't visited a lot of places back in her world. The slums, however, did remind her of the slums she grew up at in Midgar. What caught her by surprise was when Seras mentioned about not finding anything from her world. "Your world? You're from a different world?" To add in her surprise was the fact that the girl had mentioned that the two of them are in a complete different world altogether. "Oh no....this is not good." She frowned with concern in her eyes. That would explain why this planet feels so strange... She thought to herself. If Seras had been trapped in this world for three days, then there's no telling how or when they would get back home. Her world was still grave danger, she could only hope that Cloud and the others would find a way to stop Sephiroth during her absence. That is unless... "Did you happen to see a man with long silver hair wearing a black outfit by any chance?" There was concern in the tone of her voice. If Sephiroth was here, then this world would be in danger.

If anything, the yell for help did gave the impression that he and Gilgamesh weren't alone in this forest. He wanted to investigate, yet the strange man would rather fight the red-clad swordsman. Thankfully an opportunity arose when Gilgamesh ended up falling and tumble down the steep slope on the side of the path. This guy's a strange one. He thought to himself. He went to peek down the cliff. "Sorry, Gilgamesh, but I'll take your challenge another time." He called out before he headed off to where the yell from earlier came from. Soon enough he spotted what seemed to be a male who seemed to be tangled up in vines with beasts attempting to jump at him. "Hold on!" He called as he ran over to slash at one of the beasts with his sword.

She sensed something was wrong nearby, and she wanted no part of it.

Maiku was running. It was something he did every night around midnight, though he wasn't sure why. Maybe he just enjoyed the feeling of midnight approaching, knowing that the Dark Hour would come with it. Though, since he wasn't in Iwatodai anymore, he wouldn't be effected by it. Still, being out this late gave him a nostalgic feeling. And, during that one minute of midnight, Maiku felt closer to Mother Moon than he did normally. If he wanted, he could probably find a way to use the Evoker to summon her, but it would only be for a minute, so it was a waste of time. As he ran, his ears covered by his earphones that were blasting music, he turned the corner onto his block. However, someone had decided to speed down the sidewalk with their bike, and Maiku jumped out of the way and into the bushes. But, he didn't touch ground. Instead, there was a cool whoosh! as he fell through some sort of hole. And, right into a snow-covered city.

When he regained his blurred vision, Maiku sat up and looked around groggily. He was in the middle of some sort of ice sculpture display, one looking surprisingly like Pac-Man. The others were...odd. Standing carefully, Maiku's senses suddenly kicked back in and he discovered that it was very cold. Shivering violently, he suddenly wished he had brought a jacket with him on his run. But, no such luck. All he had with him was his shoulder bag and his music player; that was no longer working. Looking around, he noticed a large structure and figured he'd be able to find someone to help him out and get warm. So, that's where he ran to. People looked at him strangely, but he didn't pay any mind to them. Instead, he just zipped right up the stairs and through the door of the church. Walking in, he went over and curled up in a corner, blowing on his hands and rubbing them together. "Fire....I wish I could make fire....Where am I anyway?"

Armed Recon Robot

Quote paused for a moment, then spoke.

He explained that he and his friends had been flying along, but became separated when they suddenly shifted through space. He was wondering if this man had seen anything in the sky, perhaps to the east, where his companions had started spiraling off.

The robot was clearly the quiet type, but was still asking for help.

Sheena Fujibayashi
══════════════════════════
Location: Tower of Mana | Company: A fox man (Lutz)

Sheena had gone to the Tower of Mana in order to check the seal. With everything going on, she was worried that the mana flow would have been disturbed. She didn't find anything out of the ordinary; the flow was still intact. Though, a lot of the mana around the world had been disturbed since all this began. But, as for the actually flow of mana, it was fine. Or, so she saw. There could still be something wrong with it that she wasn't able to find. It was one seal down. She wanted to check a few of the others to be sure, though. As she descended the floors, the female ninja spotted someone in the mirror block room. It was a...fox? A fox man? Well, whatever it was, she didn't think that he had permission to be in the tower. Or, it could be some sort of new monster. Monsters didn't wear clothes, though. "Who are you, and why are you in the temple?" She wanted to ask what this person was, but if it wasn't a monster and just some lost tourist, she didn't want to risk offending him....Even if he wasn't like anyone she ever met.

OOC As far as I know, Sheena still has her Pacts. Is that right? >.<

LUTZ
Where: Mana Tower 2F
With: A Human woman [Sheena]
Status: Slightly Hurt and Confused

Lutz took his hand away from his forehead and looked at it No blood so I'm not bleeding, guess that means my skull's fine too, looking away from the wall he saw a strange block in the middle of the room What the- what kind of place did I end up in? he wondered, Lutz's ears pricked as he heard footsteps; he turned to face where they were coming from and put a hand on his sword but relaxed when he saw it wasn't a soldier though the woman had some strange clothing, ''Temple? I'm afraid I don't know anything about where I am, I am Lutz of the Fox Country'' he said since most Humans didn't call Airibell by it's real name ''and you?''

OOC: Yeah she should still have them since she did in Dawn [though the conditions of the pacts have probley changed, I think she's promised ''to preserve peace'' now or something along those lines]
