Heidi squeaked as she was suddenly crushed to Tuck's chest, letting her hands rest on his chest and tilting her head to let Tuck get to her neck. Her smile grew when he told her he loved her. That felt so good to hear. So good.
"I love you, Tuck."
She loved him so much it hurt.
She turned her head to kiss Tuck's temple before he leaned back, looking up at him with nothing but innocence. "Never. I don't think I could carry you back to the hotel, so that would be a horrible idea~." It was true, she wasn't lying. Heidi tilted her head up. "Kiss me~?"

Tuck merely chuckled at her response before leaning down to press his lips to hers. He tilted his head so that he could deepen the kiss, a low sound coming from his throat --
...and then the elevator door opened. Tuck dazedly forced himself to pull away from Heidi, though he didn't break contact entirely. His fingers were twined with hers, and Tuck gave his girlfriend a soft smile.
"C'mon. I'm already ready for dessert, so lets get to dinner before we're late."

Her arms came up to wrap around Tuck's neck as he kissed her, holding him close and happily returning the kiss. She loved him, she loved him so much. She loved his kisses, she loved his warmth, the feel of his arms around her. Heidi didn't want it to end.
When the door opened her eyes opened wide to stare almost sadly at the open door. She panted lightly, putting a hand over her racing heart. Damn..
"R-right.." Heidi whispered, smiling up at Tuck and blushing. Ready for dessert?
...Oh. Her cheeks felt even hotter when she realized what might be in the box if he was using dessert in this context.
She giggled involuntarily and led Tuck out of the elevator and through the lobby, she may have been in a slight hurry to get back out into the fresh air. Once they were outside she checked her phone for the directions she needed, squeezing Tuck's hand as she started walking down the sidewalk.
"Is that box the thing I'm promising to do?" She asked quietly, glancing up at Tuck to see his reaction.

Tuck merely followed after Heidi, taking solace in the fact that he was able to coax her to that sort of reaction. His ego really didn't need any extra padding but he was feeling ******** great, completely in love with the little blonde by his side. His Heidi.
"Could be." Tuck tried to keep a straight face and failed miserably. "Or it might be doughnuts. That I brought with me."
He curled his lips inward over his teeth as he fought the urge to laugh.
"From home."

"...Donuts.." Heidi squinted. "Riiiiight.."
She wasn't buying it.
She raised their hands to guide his arm around her shoulders. Heidi was content to walk in companionable quiet with Tuck again, humming softly under her breath and wrapping her arm around his middle. "I was worried I'd be the only one saying it~" Heidi finally admitted with a shy chuckle, looking up at Tuck again.

Tuck slipped his arm around Heidi's shoulders easily, that content grin never leaving his face. "Makes two of us." He shrugged his shoulders and cleared his throat. "I was scared, but. I was just thinkin' if you didn't love me, maybe someday you would." Tuck fell silent, still gazing down at his girlfriend. "I got a habit of moving too fast, an' ... I don't wanna do that with you. So I was scared of that too."

Heidi giggled. "Aren't you the one who said anything we do with each other only matters between the two of us and no one else?" She shrugged and gave Tuck a squeeze, tilting her head to rest against him. "I love you," Heidi told him happily, "I would tell you if you were moving too fast."
She fell quiet after that to just enjoy Tuck's presence, guiding him through town until they reached the restaurant. It was lively, a warm and welcoming environment with music and the smell of food all around. Heidi spoke carefully with the hostess in what little Spanish she knew, only letting Tuck go when they were at their table and seated.
"What do you think?" Heidi thought it was nice without being insanely fancy, it was why she had picked it.

Tuck looked a little sheepish. "I guess I did say that," he chuckled, shaking his head as he fell silent for a moment, just enjoying having Heidi tucked close to his side. He didn't feel an urge to speak, didn't need to fill the silence with words. As they made their way into the restaurant - and after they were seated - Tuck gave Heidi's question great thought. "I wanna ******** eat everything," he whispered softly, gazing around the restaurant with wide eyes. The instant his eyes landed on Heidi, his eyes narrowed and his smile turned a little wolfish. It was a smile that said present company included.

Heidi laughed at Tuck's answer. Yes, she knew he wanted to eat everything. He always wanted to eat every..thing... Her laughter cut off when she caught the look Tuck was giving her. She blushed. He was..including her? Wow, okay. She really needed to stop being surprised by that. Heidi's smile was shy as she cleared her throat and tried to give Tuck a playfully scolding look, it was hard to do when she was trying not to giggle. "Later, geeze." Heidi was trying so hard to look annoyed or scandalized by the suggestion. It wasn't happening. She instead just shook her head, opening her menu to glance over it. She was honestly just going to look at anything with a picture and pick the one that looked best. That sounded like a good plan.

The blush was exactly what he was going for, and Tuck immediately grinned so broadly that his face hurt. He didn't bother to open his menu. Tuck was just staring at Heidi, chin in hand, and grinning. "Pick some stuff for me." Tuck situated his chair so that he was seated closer to her. He leaned over to press a kiss against her shoulder before glancing at her menu.

"Oh? Okay, I was just going to pick at random to be honest. You're not allergic to anything, right?" Heidi didn't even realize she moved slightly closer when Tuck sat beside her, leaning against him while looking down at the menu thoughtfully.
The kiss to her shoulder was a surprise. She giggled and turned her head to kiss him. "I love you~" Heidi whispered, smiling and kissing him again while she shrugged off her jacket. If he was going to kiss her shoulders she might as well let him actually kiss her shoulders.
But now there was a problem.
Heidi wanted to cuddle her boyfriend right now. She wanted him to hold her, to be close to him and just keep telling him that she loved him and hear him say it back and just enjoy being in his arms.
But she was really hungry.
Heidi was about to try and find a way to cuddle him as they were without ruining everything until their waitress appeared beside their table, speaking in a heavy accent to the couple as she introduced herself and asked if they were ready for any ordering. The blonde hummed. "Um, I'd just like water..Tuck?" She knew what he wanted after, but what did he want now that he could actually have?

"I can eat anything," he grinned, shrugging. "No allergies." He rubbed a small lock of her hair between his index finger and his thumb. "I love you. More." When Heidi took her jacket off, Tuck found himself incredibly distracted by the curve of Heidi's shoulder. He'd just about been ready to lean in to kiss that smooth expanse of skin when the waitress showed up. "Whatever wine goes well with whatever she orders," he murmured softly, not once glancing up at the waitress. "And some water." Wine, whatever. He'd never been a huge fan but it seemed to suit the occasion. Tuck lifted his eyebrows and finally glanced up at the waitress with a grin. "And lots of food. You ready to order, baby?" Just like that, his attention was back on Heidi. He seemed particularly intrigued by the pulse at her throat, and his fingers drew idle patterns along her bared shoulder.

Heidi nodded, turning back to the waitress to show her what she wanted. No, she was not even going to attempt to actually say any of the names unless it looked simple enough to guess at without looking completely foolish. Luckily the waitress, used to tourists, was patient with her and jotted down the names as well as picked a wine for them. It was all well and good.. Except Tuck was distracting Heidi. His touch made her shiver at first, giggling quietly and trying very hard to give the waitress her attention until the woman finally collected their menus and left. When she was gone she turned back to Tuck with a smile, her cheeks pink again. "I love you most," she finally said after having been interrupted by the waitress' arrival. She was very glad she took off her jacket now. "I ordered food we can share, nothing seafood this time~." Heidi would be nice since he'd already been a good sport about trying what she'd forced on him earlier in the day. Heidi reached across Tuck for the hand that wasn't touching her so she could hold it, lacing her fingers between his and raising their hands to kiss his knuckles. This would do since she wasn't about to just climb on his lap to cuddle him in the middle of the restaurant. Mostly Heidi was just glad she'd gone with a strapless dress tonight. She loved being touched by him.

The reply he gave was probably going to become something of a habit. "Impossible." Tuck waited until after Heidi had ordered to really focus on her again. He wasn't worried that he was being too intense or even inappropriate - he was just a man who enjoyed being close to the woman he loved, and that included touching her bare skin. She was so soft and pale and that goddamn giggle. That goddamn giggle, Heidi. He squeezed her hand when she took it, continuing to draw circles on her skin with his free hand. The arm that was draped behind her rested comfortably on the back of her chair. "What do you want to do after dinner?"

"That you could love me more? Totally is impossible, you're right." Heidi grinned up at Tuck. This was fun. She couldn't get enough of this, being close to the man she loved and just pretending they were the only two people in the room. She tilted her head up as a silent plea for a kiss.
Heidi felt Tuck's fingers brush her skin again and she shivered, biting down on her bottom lip around a smile and giggling again. It felt so nice, it tickled in the best way.
She opened one eye when Tuck asked what she wanted to do. Really? He had to ask. Heidi looked up at him and tried to think of the safest way to answer. If she answered too literally she had a strong feeling he would pick her up and leave right then, but if she was too vague he wouldn't get it..
"I want dessert." Heidi finally answered, resting her head against Tuck's shoulder.
