Rochelle probably doesn't even remember the nickname, to be honest. Once they're re-introduced, Kibeth's there to remind her of things like names. It's been almost two years... I'm sure bygones can be bygones! Maybe. Ish. Probably. We can see what happens. neutral | (Kibeth happens to be fond of crimsons in general so that works!)
Poor Z'fer. XD Knowing Natai's family, Mother'd likely sic the eldest (and straight) brother on him to flirt him away. ... yes, I have a mindcanon. Naat would still flirt with him. neutral Bereck is the safest bet and nearby, not to mention less dangerous.

I'm not sure about that less dangerous part >_> I never underestimate someone with intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the human body.
Z'fer is certainly straight, but I don't think flirting alone would scare him off. He's pretty comfortable in his own skin and figures it's unavoidable that even men find him incredibly attractive. (I believe there was some crack-flirting in the main thread about the time of Suunath's flight xd as well as more Naked!Z'fer)He'd be flattered but Naat would be 'kindly' turned down. He has developed a healthy respect for scary women though. Either that or his survival instincts kick in a lot better nowadays.
I love head-canon for families. Ailin's whole family is plotted out with their own stories, and I'm working on Z'fer's right now (since I forgot he has siblings here) If I win a custom in the event, I'm going to bring Z'fer's youngest sister Zennaren in. She's going to be hell on him and I want that soooo baaaad.
But yes. biggrin Z'fer and Natai shall finally meet hopefully soonish. Calanoth will be mad when he realizes Z'fer never took him to meet one of his hatchlings.
Cai can let the nickname go I'm sure. Miath will see to it. She only heard it once second-hand from Miath after all during the first Weyrling lesson and she can't deny the fact that she has a lot of freckles...

Alina did give him a cane with a dagger hidden inside of it for his 50th nameday. So there's that... And the man has fought two whers now. He's a dude to be afraid of.
Her family is full of scary women and wall-like men. XD Mother is short and very round but wields a huge knife with at least three huge guys at her back. That said, her sisters are nice enough until the Hold is like 'GETCHER WEAPONS GURLS'. As long as he remembers that Mother and Father wrestle herdbeasts and kill them on a regular basis, he's good. Hekate has probably been good for his survival instincts. XDDD
Family head-canons are the best. It really helps with the characterization, i think. Especially siblings. biggrin

The Nozomi We have a few people who can get the word out! biggrin And Natai disappearing from her Hold during the fight is probably quite known. I'm sure we could figure something out. She'd be peripherally aware of that, yeah, but will probably need someone to explain more to her :3. Girofleth would then be very interested, because all this violence has been so Not Okay with her.

If anyone needs an explanation for how their character would have learned of this new Weyrhold to begin with... Assume there is a Harper starting rumors about it. With no information specific enough to pinpoint it, of course. Just along the lines of "do you remember the stolen gold? The one that was living at the Hold with her rider? I've heard she's moved on to somewhere new, starting a new weyr..."

Nash came up with this... But Natai needs a financial backer, he suggests she talks to various coltholds near by and see which would like to become a Hold to her Weyr in exchanged for labor. Need to clear the land before you build on it and such.
And tilte for protection from thread and such..

Hey, when Syriacuth's wing is better, maybe he and R'an can come and check things out. R'an is all for fairness as long as evryone does their job. And Syriacuth is pretty serious at times. They could be a good companion? Plus R'an is a beastcrafter... or was anyways.
And i'm still toying with the idea of having a character who might live out in the wilderness of Trine. Someone who for some reason (that i haven't thought of as of yet) left his Hold and never came back.
