The golem gave an uncertain glance to Amrita, her sudden chipper mood and closeness throwing him off. He gave no answer to her for now. Scared him off? It could be an excuse used for a later time, when he was due to have this golem retired.
He hoped it would be soon.
The golem sat down softly next to her, hand immediately folding on it's lap. Tenya was giving him a lot of good advice on how to seem unassuming, and already began to prattle off suggestions as Amrita asked a tough question.
"Home is... far from here. No family, really." He answered vaguely for now, "I just woke up one day. Where I lived was.. well, cold. Dirty. Peaceful, I suppose. A graveyard." Tenya started to babble about specific details she made up, most of which Otto was ignoring.
"A single coffin tomb. Lot's of neighbours."

"Ahh, yes. Graveyards are pretty lively, aren't they?" Amrita grinned at her own joke, curling to hug her knees to her chest and tucking her feet under her. "So you weren't Pumpkin-born, I take it?" Enya had said she had just 'woke up', which wasn't something pumpkin-born did. "I can't imagine how confusing that would be, I'm sorry."

"Don't be. Not like I know any different." The golem shrugged lightly, blankly staring ahead of itself. He really despised these missions. He didn't like socializing on a normal day let alone having to do it as work. This was the worst.
"Were you?" May as well get the scoop on her upbringing.

"True enough." She agreed thoughtfully, and then nodded as the question was turned back to her. "Yeah, I was Pumpkin-born, pure bred Halloween." Another small chuckle and a shake of her head. "It's really not that different though, from what I understand. Doesn't matter how you're born into this world, or when in life you are, all that matters is that you're here now." There was a small, thoughtful pause. "But I guess you get the benefit of not having a 'growing up' sort of childhood..." She frowned. Growing up was hard, and kids were bullies.
"Anyway. I grew up in a Graveyard too! A few of them, really...my clan likes to move around, you see."
