Niijiro Been forever since I've been online on Gaia, but I had the biggest smile when I saw this thread as a new one on the Guilds' main page. I love BlazBlue and I've played it since January 9th, 2012 (I remember because it was the day before my birthday). I missed out on a lot of Calamity Trigger since everyone had moved onto Continuum Shift, soon after Extend the month after. I was rather eager to post, but I noticed that this is either listed down under the Playstation section since I saw someone post the controls with Triangle or Square, so it's my only assumption, but I play for Xbox, which makes me sad because Chrono Phantasma is supposedly only going to be for Playstation (which pisses me off as well since the Xbox version also has around 130,000 people on the highscores, so...yeah...). Moving onto characters though...I started with Haku-men and can say I sucked really bad with him. Then I moved onto Nu-13 and fell in love with her move set, as well as her overall character. And finally I started to use Ragna, Jin, Platinum, Haku-Men, Hazama, Lambda/Nu, Taokaka, and Arakune. And here I am now, making the third person to post on here because I'm the third one of that is going to feel bad for joining in and not understanding anything else that is being talked about, haha. Hey, xbox, ps3.... it's all the same. I love the gamer on any system. Enough to the pouint that I had to buy a PSVITa to play the Extended version because the regular psp only had the Continuum Shift 2 on it. I remember getting the game because of the box art. The drawings themselves were very appealing and once I got into it, Ragna's style and how he carried himself made me want to try to main him. I got discouraged shortly after I tried using Hakumen (When he completely wrecked my s**t during one of my Arcade runs) and tried learning the Curve to understand why Hakumen was such a bad a**. I think I want to say that my most favortie feature about Blazblue is the Playbook Story line. Most fighting games have you fight arcade mode and then you get some sort of mini ending, that's it. On Blazblue, I played Arcade and all the characters had some sort of connection with one another, which got me even more interested and had me jump right into story mode. Immediately, it was so much more... different than all the other fighter games out there XD

BlazBlue's storyline is without a doubt, the best out there when it comes to fighter genres. You have to pay actual attention to them all to actually understand the multiple stories in there, as well as the main storyline as well. I remember going to Anime Boston and the second I saw they had Extend there, I was just thinking to myself: "Gleaming Eyes: ACTIVATE!", but then I saw that they only had it on Playstation 3 and my hopes were destroyed, haha. While the button layout is the same, the controller is just so much tinier and the D-Pad or Arrow Buttons were just too...sticky? Not sure what to say, but I just couldn't slide my fingers as effectively. When I first started though, I got Calamity Trigger on Jan 9th and then attempted the arcade mode, spamming Gauntlet Hades with Ragna since there was 'easy inputs' instead of the full input. Then I got Continuum Shift the next day and got my a** wrecked by Unlimited Hazama...on Normal difficulty. The training mode, as well as Challenge mode made learning characters easier while retaining the complexity to all of them.
While I do think BlazBlue is the best fighter game out there, I don't think I'd be willing enough to get a Playstation 3 for Chrono Phantasma. +Insert sad, crying face here+

Zeoru iiUndeux Zeoru iiUndeux Nandatte.. did you hear the community on eventhubs? everyones like "the 5th character on USF is a shoto? thats not a surprise....Kappa"
on sidenote: they need to give bison his motion ultra back. :c
i havent tried tager yet cuz of gta5 :c I'm not sure what shoto meant, so I googled it.... Is it their play style? GTA5? I was at gamestop and a mother was trying to buy it for her kids, who wanted extremely violent games. Poor kids didn't get it, because the mom had no idea what she was buying for them lolz. is it good? Nandatte.. gta 5 is amazing, but if you had to buy a gta game for your kids... GTA 5 is definitely not one of the more tamer ones.. i mean... one of the characters, is introduced as hes banging some biker's girl, then he bashes in the bikers head. in the other GTAs... there is NOTHING like that intro lol.
characters classified as a shoto or shotokan character have a fireball, a tatsumaki ( whirlwind kick), and a shoryuken. ive heard its also cuz they wear a gi. it gets a lot more technical. xD wayyy more technical then i want to explain. Oh, martial artists dress code and style? I don't think I've ever run into the term XD I am more familiar with it now. Nandatte.. also, they are pretty easy to pick up and play. so....i think, give or take, jin is the shoto of blazblue lol.

I can't remember how hard I RAGED because of the continued loses lolz Luckily, my brother has a PS3, but because we sometimes clash on game time, I might have to get my own. What you COULD do, is if you know someone with a PS3, you could always play with them. Although getting into the storyline might be... Difficult at their house ^^" Have you seen the latest news? They added Yuki Terumi to the roster, along with Kokonoe and Kagura. Kokonoe plays incredibly awesome.

I do recall my cousin started with Jin and then moved onto Platinum. I started with Ragna and ended up with Hakumen.

Me finding a friend who plays BBCP is like finding a unicorn; it just can't be done, haha. XD As for the latest news, I haven't kept up too much, but I do know that Terumi and Kagura were added to the roster, but I had heard that they were pre-order specials only. As for Kokonoe...all I can say to that is dafuq because I have never imagined her to be a fighter, haha. I'll have to give that a check though.

Wow, Kokonoe looks to be pretty...well, interesting. A gravity field that attracts and repels depending on the switch. I think of it like Nu-13's combat style switch, except just gravity, haha. But Terumi...if it does come out for Xbox eventually(in which I very much hope it does that I'd willingly pay $120 for the game itself), I'd probably go straight to Terumi and Nu-13, seeing as Hazama and Lambda/Nu were my favorite characters throughout the BlazBlue series(sorry Haku-men, I still love you. 3). And that run...leave it to Terumi to have a badass running animation.

But after learning that he wasn't always Hazama, I wondered what he would play as if he was still Terumi. I have been very impressed thus far. He literally has no restriction on Uoroboros!!! I think I saw the snake comming out of the ground, even. It looked like that little wheel axe thinng Lamda does on the ground when an opponent is lying there.

Haha, it is pretty impressive what they've done with his mechanics. And yeah, his attack has the ouroboros coming out of the ground, which is awesome in its own way, haha.

You know, Microsoft would be stupid to turn down such a good game. It IS all about the money these days with ANY company. I mean, just look at PS4. If Blazblue Chrono Phantasm isn't released on the Xbox 360, you should expect it on the Xbox One. It'd be a great market strategy.

Zeoru I'm not sure what the case with the game was. I remember reading a post on a different site where someone went to a panel for BBCP and whenever he asked why it wasn't coming out on xbox, it was a question better for ASW or whichever company sponsors the game consoles it comes out on. I mean, on xbox, there are at least 40,000 people registered on the high scores on BBCS and like, 160,000 on BBCT. Not sure about BBCS:EX since the last time I checked the highscores was for the Score Attack(which I use to be #3 and then went down to #17 +insert sad face+), but there are many people playing. Not putting it on xbox seems like a bad move in my opinion.

That's already enough to warrant a great sale on one system alone.
