Even though Lo had a smile on her face it looked more forced now that this lady was calling her by her first name. She felt a little bit bad about her little story about being a dragon, but forced to go around in such a limiting body. However, that was no reason for her to bite Lo’s head off after just meeting for the first time. “Well, I’m sorry to hear that but there’s no need to take rage out on me. I had nothing to do that.” she said bluntly.

Lo didn’t know much about the Dragon race. Truth be told this was the first time she had ever met one that wasn’t a product of a quill and ink. She cocked an eyebrow when Ignis mentioned she could see…well…smell what she was. ‘Is she blind?’ Lo didn’t look like anything but a Dark Elf. And she certainly hoped she didn’t smell like anything else either. “Well I hope I…smell like a Dark Elf. I’d seriously hate to be anything else.” Lo said with confusion lining her face.

Lo listened quietly to the lizard lady’s explanation. So it was a political situation to keep the kingdoms friendly with each other. A friend helping a friend. That made sense. “I understand. No need to be all snippy about it.” Lo pushed her glasses up a little and looked at Raven as he gave his own answer.

She couldn‘t help but chuckle a little at his rash way of explaining. “None taken.” she said. “Honestly I don’t get why some Elves would rather chew their own limbs off than to deal with others.” it was nothing but the truth. Lo had her own reason for hating humans, but couldn’t understand why elves and humans didn’t get along as a whole.

Lo blinked and took a step backwards as Raven jumped in between the two of them. ‘So…this attitude isn’t because of me? Just because I’m a girl too?’ Lo could almost sigh in disbilef. It was one thing for two people just to not like each other, but simply because of trivial matters like that? It didn’t make any sense to her at all. It actually exhausted her physically to think about it. “I was actually hoping Ignis didn’t like me for me. I think it’s barbaric to dislike someone just like that.” Lo shrugged with a childish grin on her face and followed after Raven.

"Rage? No, this isn't rage." Ignis could get angry, but her anger was a bit different than this. In fact, Ignis was being nice to the elven girl as far as things went. As Ignis took note of her confusion, she crossed her arms over her chest. "You seem confused...let me explain. I smelled you long before I saw you, so that's what I mentioned first. I can see clearly what you are." Ignis glanced over at Raven and shrugged. "I'm not that heavy. Only a couple tons." Ignis crossed her arms behind her back and shot Raven a sweet and innocent look. "But you must carry me! You wouldn't want me to die of exhaustion, no?" As they began to get moving for the second time, the moment he mentioned being jealous, Ignis' face burned as red as fire. "Don't insult me! I'm not jealous of her, and I'm NOT territorial! You flatter yourself far too much!" Ignis stated firmly before moving after him, making sure to keep up. Ignis growled, showing off her sharpened teeth...and even doing so as she looked back at Lo with eyes burning with rage and embarrassment. "It's not that I don't like you. It's just...I need to be cautious until I return to my full strength. I don't actively try to make enemies...but that's just who I am." Ignis silently marched after explaining herself, shaking her head. "Pfft...jealous...who does he even think I am? I don't get jealous...I'm an ancient dragon, not some fawning schoolgirl." Ignis muttered to herself, her hands balled tightly in to fists.

Out of all his memories of encounters with Incubi, there were few memories sweeter and fonder than that of Alphonse, the one he'd found himself feeling down at a Red Light hotel. The man had promise, he had wits, and he had beauty. Of course, West had been forced to leave Nocturne due to rising conflicts and could not see him again. He'd sent Damon to uncover the location of this Alphonse the Incubus, but had never quite easily managed to track him down . . . until now. He had been hunting, searching, for countries and their coasts using the man's old tanktop he forgot at the motel as a reference to smell. West had changed immensely, now a hybrid Lycan . . . and the de facto ruler of much of the world. Still, he always found himself using his abilities and his resources in the silliest ways such as searching for the source of this attractive scent.

But on the bright side - he found something. It might have not been Alphonse himself, but there was a strong presence here of this very same scent and that could at least lead him to something. Unless, of course, this was just one of his impregnated or random Elven bouts of lovemaking. That would result in pretty much nothing.

The scent led him to a door. He sniffed the nob and along the wooden frame and felt ever the attraction . . . he could feel energy too, from behind that door. He resolved that it must have been Alphonse, and to ensure it, he twisted the nob and opened hoping to uncover his treasure.

"...uuuuuuuuuuuuuuckkkk!!!" The drawn out slur was the first thing West would hear upon opening the door. Had he not gotten the hint from that, the moment he peered in he would see a big man looking as if he would pass out from pleasure gasping desperately for air, and beneath the man, lying on his back and looking rather pleased with himself, he would see Al, his beautiful features laid bare for all to see. They had both just reached their climax by the looks and sounds of it, and it took only a fleeting moment for Al to take notice of the broad figure looming at the door to his apartment. Eyes going wide with utter surprise, he blinked once, and then suddenly all else was forgotten as blind rage crept inside him and defeated his joy at seeing the man in a very, very short duel. Sliding from the beneath the unimportant man that now tumbled to the bed in a heap, literally unable to move as he still felt the effects of the passion he had just experienced, Al moved to the floor and glided across the short distance to the door. The apartment was rather small, it being the man's place and all while Al simply crashed for a few nights and paid with what he had, so there really was nothing left to the imagination where the room was concerned. Everything was where one saw it. Everything was as one saw it. Everything was all one would see.

As naked as the day he was born, not giving two shits about the fact that his bare a** was feeling the effects of the draft that suddenly wafted through the small room, he got up close and personal with West, standing mere inches, two perhaps, away as he peered up into the man's eyes, his hard demeanor slipping for a spell as his eyes seemed to soften with a look of relief before quickly regaining their steel. "Who the ******** do you think you are huh?!" It was a start. To elaborate. "I wake up one morning, cold as hell, only to find that you were gone. You just...left. Without a word! And then a whole ********' year goes by and not even a text. I mean...we do have technology ya know! A simple text would've sufficed! And then..." The tirade went on...and on...and on...no end in sight. Al didn't seem to be about to end it anytime soon, and with each angry remark he made he jabbed his index finger into West's chest for emphasis, and occasionally he replaced the finger with his whole fist when he was exceptionally upset about one of the many sore topics he brought up. He did not pause to ponder how West had even found him, what with him having chosen this place, this man in particular, for the anonymity that it would afford him. He may have pissed a few people off and might be on the down-low while he figured out what to do, but even that seemed to pale in comparison to the venom he spat at West.

The sight he walked into was . . . elaborate. He supposed now he understood what those slapping noises he'd heard were. He figured sooner, but he was willing to give himself the benefit of the doubt and believe that Alphonse wasn't just here for a quick bedding. Well, he apparently was. It made sense. He was a young Incubus. But a part of him felt shitty about it - he wasn't sure whether it was jealousy, disappointment, or just confusion about it all. Even so, it was hot, seeing Alphonse's pronounced figure beneath a masculine Elven man, the look of elation they both shared. His ferality, that unkempt and untamed part of him . . . the part that was both Desire Demon and Lycan, could not witness this sight without feeling a stir. The man stepped inside and mostly shut the door, though Alphonse had risen by then - he noticed the Emperor's presence.

It was a little bit sad that the visual of the moment had to fade so quickly. There was no more appealing a site to him than watching a man dominate another, not as a display of subjugation but simply as an acceptance of the reins; the dominance permitted that one please the other, and that sort of isolated action of sexual passion was one that West embellished in his heart. Of course, what it meant was that he was allowed another great visage, of Alphonse and his picture perfect figure. West was looking everywhere but his eyes, at least until the moment where he was finally approached.

He never expected that what would follow would be an extremely extended period of bitching. Jeez. West was half-tempted to just leave after a while, if only to escape the complaining. It was like he had a housewife.

"If you weren't so quick to quit I would have found you nearly a year ago. I went back to find you almost immediately after I left! And I didn't go for no reason, either. My brother declared war on me; I'm a ruler, I have to - you know, rule. Oh, but you forgot that, right? You don't remember who I am? I'll remind you. I'm Emperor West of Fraxon, Lord of South and North Fronta, Kranila, Yuran, Aramil, Kevai, and Amaranthine. It's thus a difficult endeavor for me to track down someone I met a world away near a shady motel. Even so, and even despite my responsibilities, I aspired to find you still. I'm here right now. Don't b***h at me unless you want me to leave. I know you don't want me to leave." As for the texting thing . . . he was pretty sure he never got Alphonse's number. Plus, carrying around a phone meant letting techies track you. West was too paranoid for that; sod such a thing, he preferred land appointments.

There were supposedly (definitely) more pressing matters for Nai to handle that had nothing to do with passively eavesdropping on the forest gossip passing throughout an elven outpost yet here she was doing just that. The voices of the elves intertwined with the breath of nature. One of more poetic inclinations might've appreciated the art in the very sound of life at the outpost, but Nai was anything but.

As always, Nai was cloaked in dark materials, every inch of her body covered in coat, gloves, and mask except for maybe a glimpse of her eyes between mask and hood whenever the angle and light were just right. She leaned forward against the railing of a low-hanging bridge, from where she could catch voices coming from both the bridge she stood on and the street below it. Such a mechanical appearance stood out like a sore thumb in Egylar and it drew much unwanted attention. Nai had no need to hear what others thought of her. Her mind only registered the important, not bothering to exert energy for anything but the necessary. What she needed now was... a rather vague and broad category of things, really. Just news about the forest, strange happenings and the like.

Earlier this day and for a few days already, Nai had been reading what few texts Egylar was willing to loan to strangers without question. Part of the reading had been for what she was doing now. Most of it was for something else. Regardless, at this moment, she needed gossip of the now, not the formalized information of years gone by found within musty tomes.

The elves were speaking among each other, I've paid most of it not a single thought. It was here many of the elves that were known lingered, carefree of what humans may think. It didn't exactly invoke the most pleasant of memories, everything from father's issues of the family and the old manor further away. It was all bad, and none of it I cared to remember anymore. It had been a full year living in complete isolation at one point, away from the gossip and prying eye of my elven kin.

Or was it two years?

Shadowing along, the ordinary I had paid no mind to nor did I care. My purpose wasn't among the common rabble, or with others that didn't know me. The light bent around my form and shadows hid what the light did not, I took comfort in hiding as I watched the others with a slow, steady gaze. There was one that caught my attention, the inconspicuous stood out to me, rather than the bizarre. My kind of person.

My steps were muffled well, form hidden through bent light and shadow as I unveiled it suddenly a few feet away from the one on the bridge, hooded and possibly masked. I was of opposite attire, only a tunic and my short leggings, my knives holstered all about my body.

"There was only one person that lingered in one spot and as quietly, dressed as you were once before" I said, casting my voice afar nearer to the figure. It was then I leaned over the bridge and looked out, speaking again. "I believe I threatened ye that one day."

Nai had just about enough. Enough information that is. A moment more, and she would have left. However, she was addressed, and quite strangely at that. Someone knew her? Who? Probably no one of great importance if she could not place the voice.

The mention of a threat, even just in reference to a past deed, was ultimately what convinced Nai to put in the effort to turn her head and see who was talking to her. A blonde elf, much like any other dawn elf. Threats were any everyday matter to a Lumirian. However, this wasn't the case in Kranila, and even less so with dawn elves, who Nai scarcely saw unless she was in one of their sanctuaries like this outpost here. She could probably, no definitely, count on one hand all the times she had been threatened by a dawn elf.

her mind, in its mysterious ways, immediately settled on the correct identity of the woman she faced. "Ad," she voiced, expecting some sort of response to confirm or deny her identification. Now would also be a good time for the elf to state her reason for approaching Nai. No stranger to nonverbal cues, Nai's eyes stared unfocused in the elf's direction, the vague gaze hiding how her mind snapped onto details throughout her vision.

"That got your attention." I said simply, still looking out in the same direction. It was a subtle means of answering the one word response, putting it simply that was a miraculous blue moon just to do that. Conversations were not a strong suit, not now and not ever so it would need to be concise and to the point.

"Restless are the dead again." There been a reason I had come out here as I begun to mention it. "Thought you should know." It was vague to a point, but I didn't like extended conversations to begin with and rather not bother with the small details. "Information, it's helpful."

Walking away from the railing, my form was soon shrouded in the light concealing cloak so it was only a mirage or a visage as the light refracted around. My presence shifted through the air then as a warp was made, taking me closer to the cloaked figure so I was facing the railing again, this time only a foot or so away from her.

"Curious why you're here. Don't make sense." I said, unveiling the cloak once again, this time leaning against the railing and faced the opposite direction. Arms folded and stare at the general people, I felt as if I didn't fit in with the rest with a quiet sigh before extending the mental presence out a few feet.

It appeared that Ad held the same suspicions some of the other elves did. This was why Nai had come to the elven outpost. More than any other race, it was the elves who knew about the forests and jungles that had been their home for ages. It was a rare change that would go unnoticed by them.

Extra confirmation was nice but not necessary. Nai already knew what her next destination would be. Ad flickered in and out, slipping around Nai's vision, and for a while, the Lumirian mercenary diligently kept watch. Perhaps Ad had more useful information. However, when Ad started babbling about curiosity and other things of little import, Nai judged there was no reason for her to stay. She felt that she could do small talk if she needed to, but she wouldn't even know where to start. Besides, she didn't have that kind of time.

The only indicators of Nai's farewell would be the rustle of her cloak as she turned and the light padding of boots on wooden bridge as she walked away. Again, she wondered if she should really be pursuing this particular task instead of others. She had already started this task and it wasn't her style to stop mid-task, but even then she couldn't shake off her worry. How troublesome emotions were, and thoughts. Not all thoughts. Just the ones that distracted and, well, got her stuck in this mental dilemma, but, well, they might also be the very things keeping her from literally diving headfirst into danger unchecked.

There wasn't a reply, nor response of sorts other than the slight wait as if she were processing something. It wasn't without surprise to be honest, yet this time around Nai seemed even more of a wall like before and shifted off with the motion of clothing, creak of boots.

There was something a bit more annoying than something that talked too much, and that was something that didn't talk at all. Nai had started off toward the wooded forest from the outpost now considering the direction. Shadows shifted and the light bent then as now there was one had become none as a fleeting mirage faded into the shadow of the departing mute.
