Mitsu would find something spherical, like a ball. It had a number of grooves and small holes in it. Inu-Mitsu What does she do with it? O_O

Freya tripped on Danny's foot, and went sprawling onto the floor.

Her nose took her in the right direction and her hands tentatively reached out toward where it was leading her. At first she felt something metallic to the touch, small grooves and holes. As her fingers slipped around the object she realized something crucial. " It's....a ball." It was no bigger than a soft ball, patterned in some strange way that she couldn't see. Considering the situation Mitsu did the only thing that was logical... She stuffed it in her jacket to keep. I mean come on it was a ball and a fancy one at that.

The moment Mitsu picked up the thirty pound ball of metal, a soft scraping could be heard as the pressure plate the thing rested upon let up. There was a small pause, and then a faint 'woosh' could be heard from around the entrance of the room. Anyone who looked out there would see the brazier lit. However, the flames were not normal in the slightest, as they were a smokey black in color rather than a vibrant red. The room itself was now a bit dimly lit, but it was still hard to see much of anything. If one looked hard enough, they could see vague shapes. Some seemed like rubble while the others were more like fences put up strategically. "Seems like that did something... whatever she did," Shun murmured before looking to the side. He heard a thud a moment or so ago. OOC Roll 3d6 to get back out, Mitsu! Though, now, you just take 3 damage if you roll a 1.

Pressing her lips into a thin line, Xiu only nodded at Shun's words, her gaze wary. Indeed, it had done something...but what? And more importantly...
"Be careful, Mitsu." It was soft, almost a whisper, so Xiu wasn't so sure whether the ghoul heard her, but she was sure that her friend already knew that she should be wary here.

It was dark. Really dark. So dark her tail didn't even work. Danny had never really been in true darkness. At least it wasn't scary, but it was still unsettling.
"OY MITSU GET YOUR BUTT BACK HERE." She might've been a little jumpy though. "And uh. Don't die and stuff."
A+ encouragement.

The ball hadn't felt too heavy to her but it weighed her coat down rather awkwardly. Keeping a hand on it Mitsu began to turn to figure out what to do next when the scraping sound caught her attention. It was a little foreboding and her ears fell back as a result, eyes catching the small hint of light coming from the newly lit blazers.
There was a mumble that came from Xiu, soft words of warning only to be followed by Danny's demand to come back.
"C..coming..." Mitsu said softly trying to carefully make her way through the strange maze around her. She started off okay but the ball in her jacket began to slip and as she fumbled to keep a hold of it she managed to trip on something in her path. The lycan went sprawling forward with a squeak, the ball hitting the ground with a loud thud and rolling away like a bowling ball down a lane.
"Ah, My ball!" Scrambling after the escaping object on all fours Mitsu dived through a narrow opening to snatch her ball only to hit her head in the process. "Oww...." Xiu obviously should have spoken louder.

Shun waited for Mitsu a little anxiously, giving Danny's general direction a glare. Though, he blinked as he heard her shout about a ball.. followed by a thud or two. "Mitsu..?" he called while wandering tentatively. He managed to locate her in the darkness. At least he thought it was her. He just saw a vague form with what looked like a fluffy tail. kneeling down, he went on and helped her back to her feet. "Come on, let's get out of this room," he said softly. Stepping out, he was able to see the brazier of black flames waiting for them. The Reaper approached slowly, then looked about. The other three braziers remained unlit. There was also a soft glow coming from one corner of the altar. Slowly, he approached it, seeing one of the symbols glowing. It was the one that matched the mark over the door they had just come out of. "Interesting."

Shun gave the command to leave, so Danny was going to leave. Except then she tripped over Freya (who had tripped over her) and they were all on the floor.
With a grimace, Danny picked herself up, picked Freya up, and then headed towards the big room. To her dismay, the candles were now lit with a black flame. "That was totally my doing," she said confidently, nodding up and down and in her turn bobbing Freya up and down. "All me." One hundred percent.
Turning back to the room, she looked to the ghoul in her arms. "Where to, princess Freya!"

Freya was all too happy to have stayed on the floor while things were happening in the dark, until some one happened on top of her. She looked up at her knight in shining trips when Danny got back up and scooped her up into her arms. Freya was actually very used to being carried places, so instantly she wrapped her arms around Danny's neck and got comfortable. "My hero~" She swooned, giggling childishly as she was whisked away, back outside to pick another door. "Ummmmmmm," Her pointed shoe .. pointed. "That one!" She screamed, pointing at the door that had no weird smells or things happening.

Shun let out a breath as he looked at the door Freya picked out. Well. They may as well. With a shake of his head, he went on into it. The place wasn't any darker than the rest of the temple, but it was quite a bit cooler in here. Icy stalactites hovered over head, while the room was filled icy forms. It looked like they were frozen bushes or something along those lines. At the very center of the room, where the frozen plants seemed to lead to, was a larger ice crystal. Some sort of light source seemed to be trapped within it. Slowly, the Reaper made his way towards the center and brought out his daggers. He struck the ice hard, and yet, it wasn't scratched even in the slightest. He tried again, but not even a chip broke off. "Che."OOC The frozen roomThis challenge is for DANNY. Attack the center ice crystal with flames. It has 15 HP. If you roll an attack over 7 damage, your flames were a little too hot and causes a chunk of ice to fall on you! You end up taking 3 damage each time this happens. Keep going until the ice is broken.

"No! I just thought- ..." With a grunt and sigh, she dropped Freya like a hot (or coincidentally, cold) potato. "Ugh fine."
Raising a fist, Danny summoned a single fireball and chucked it at the ice. It prompted melted, but only a little. Well that was going to be a problem, wasn't it? She couldn't just ... not melt it. It would be embarrassing in front of her super cool friends.
She took a tentative step towards the center, teeth already shattering from the bitter cold. This was so not cool. This was almost worse than the water. She was going to die. At leasther steps melted the ice under her, heat aura causing a light hissing noise as she tiptoed around the center.
Shun so owed her for this.

The more Danny scooted around on the ice, the more she found she could create little pseudo scooty skating motions. It was easier for her to move quickly through the room, but it certainly didn't make it any warmer. It was still incredibly cold, and she wished she would've brought a jacket.
The downside to moving so quickly around the room was that she brought destruction literally wherever she went. Her natural body heat caused stalagmites to melt and her wayward fireballs caused icicles of doom to stab her downwards.
All in all in wasn't the most painful experience though. With a final swipe of her hands, the ice in the center of the room melted wholly. She didn't plan her trajectory though as she wasn't smart enough to think that far ahead, and she ended up skating and colliding into the puddle of water the crystal left behind.. It was softer than crashing into an ice crystal, but it didn't make Danny feel any less like a wet, angry cat. "ShuUUUUNNNNN." Somebody had hell to pay.
