The music (which was more of Gnat's awful s**t) didn't even play a part in the way Tuck set to swaying. He loved touching Heidi, didn't matter how. Even innocent hand holding was something special to him - and he'd never felt that way about another girl, ever.

"'Course it is," he grinned and immediately slipped his hands down to cover her a**, just like he'd promised. Tuck couldn't help but give a squeeze either - because why the ******** not? This was his girl. His.

"I would love to see you in a bikini," he grinned, nuzzling her ear as he spoke. "But you gonna have to wear loads of sunscreen because I don't want this pretty skin to burn."

Hell, he didn't even want it to tan, that's how much he loved every milky-white inch of her.

"I trust you. Everyone else is who I don't trust, but I like to think that nobody is gonna put the moves on you when I'm around." He cleared his throat.

"Cuz I'd punch 'em."

Tuck paused.

"Where we goin'?"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 14, 2013 4:23 pm

The squeeze he gave her butt made her squeak and blush, she even giggled involuntarily. She loved his hands on her. She loved lots of things about him. "Good~. Because I have this really cute pink one with polka dots, and another with little cherries all over it, and I'd hate to give those up," Heidi kissed Tuck's temple and held him close, her eyes closed. She loved this. His closeness, his warmth, the smell of him, his touch against her skin. Heidi couldn't ever get enough of him, not ever. "That's fine, I don't want my skin to burn either. Have you ever burned? It freakin' hurts." Heidi shuddered.

When he asked where they were going she grinned. Heidi kissed his cheek. "We're goiiiiing.." She kissed his jaw. "tooooo," she placed a kiss at the corner of his mouth, "a country."

Heidi's grin was smug.

"I don't burn," Tuck kissed the tip of her nose, and then her forehead. "I just tan. I had a friend in school though, he burned real bad. I remember he was peelin' and we all was kinna makin' fun of him. He never went out without sunscreen again." Tuck chuckled.

"A country. You tease. It's okay, though." Tuck slipped his arms around her waist and lifted her high against his chest so that he didn't need to lean down to kiss her. "Don't matter where we're goin'. I'm just happy to get away an' have you all to myself."

He used his stubbly chin to rasp playfully against her neck.

"When should I start packin'? An' what, exactly, should I pack? What kinna clothes? You say a beach, so I'm thinkin' shorts and that sorta thing."

"Augh, I did that once. I couldn't sleep on my back for like two weeks it sucked," Heidi groaned, shaking her head at the memory. Terrible experience was terrible.

She squeaked as she was suddenly picked up, giggling and settling comfortably against her man. Heidi leaned in to rest her forehead against Tuck's, lifting her legs to wrap them around his hips to help keep herself up, her hands massaging Tuck's shoulders. "I like having you to myself, too." Heidi whispered. She tilted her head back to let Tuck get at her neck. "I mean, I love being with you all the time, public of private..but...I dunno, this trip feels different."

Heidi turned her head enough to kiss Tuck's head, one hand coming up to rub his scalp. This wasn't really dancing anymore, huh? Oh well. She was okay with this. "Ummm..well, yeah. Swim trunks..you can wear whatever you want, really. I, um, bought a new dress for dinner. It's not super fancy're anything like that but the cruise ruined my other one sooo I needed a new one, s'no big deal." She shrugged. "Sooo..whatever you want, something to sleep iiiin, something to wear after we go to the beach, and beach clothes?"

She kissed his head again. "You're tickling me with your chin, when was the last time you shaved?" She wasn't actually complaining.

Folding his fingers together, Tuck settled his hands beneath her a** so that she was secure against him. He wasn't even bothering to even make an attempt to pretend to be dancing. There was no reason to. He was happiest when they were like this, so close that barely a breath could pass between them.

"Different how?" He shared the same feeling if he was going to be honest with himself, but he didn't want to say anything that might be too much. There would be a time and a place for all of that. His biggest ******** fear was moving too fast - but at the same time he felt exhilarated by his relationship with Heidi.

"An' last time I shaved was yesterday mornin'," Tuck chuckled softly and kissed her lips, rubbing the tip of his nose against hers as he pulled away. "I'll shave tonight before bed - if you're stayin' over, anyway."
PostPosted: Sun Jul 14, 2013 8:41 pm

"Uhh..well...we've gone off island for a date, we sleep together like every night, but..I dunno..." Heidi was blushing but she ignored it. She cleared her throat. "A weekend just us feels different somehow. I'unno how to explain it." Yes she did she was just embarrassed. Matilda sighed and Heidi made a slight face. Stop that.

Heidi fell quiet, her fingers tracing along Tuck's scruffy jaw. She almost wanted to just go back to his room and cuddle in bed with him, but Heidi was content being anywhere with Tuck. Plus he put so much work into this set up on the roof she didn't want to leave until he was ready to leave. But this was perfect, being held by him with no one around to interrupt them and bother them.

The kiss was returned with a soft sound of contentment, her hand cupping his cheek to keep him close even after the kiss was over. "Only if you want to. I wasn't complaining, just curious. Not used to you having stubble~." Heidi blinked. If she was staying over? That was an odd thing to say.

"Tuck, if I can help it I'm never letting you sleep alone again," Heidi promised, her voice soft but still holding a bit of finality in it. She was serious. She wasn't even going to bother with her own room anymore, not unless the two of them slept together in her room instead of his. "So you're stuck with me every night~. Terrible, I know. I don't know how you can stand it." She was grinning again, pulling Tuck in for another kiss. "So I think it's safe to say yes, I'll be staying over tonight. And the night after that. And the night after that," she giggled.

"We're gonna have a great time," Tuck pulled back just enough to catch sight of that blush, and his brows drew together slightly. He wasn't going to press or push, but he couldn't help but wonder if there was something on her mind, something she didn't want to talk about - which was fine, but he couldn't help but feel curious.

"An' just.. you know. Nothin' changes. I ain't expectin' anything out of you for this trip." That was all he had to say about that. He was more than ******** pleased with how things were between them at the moment. She was pretty ******** amazing. Tuck was always worried about Heidi feeling obligated to do anything - be it stay with him every night or do anything she wasn't prepared for or didn't want to do.

He set Heidi down and kissed her softly, his lips lingering on hers for a few seconds.

"You really are the ********' best," Tuck whispered softly, reaching down to take Heidi's hands in his. "I'm ready to get outta here, just let me grab that box of food because, uh. I might get hungry later." He looked sheepish.

"An' then I'ma shave - I got lazy this morning - an' shower. If there ain't nothin' else you want to do tonight I vote early bedtime because I just wanna hold you forever."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:53 am

The assurance was unnecessary but nice, very nice. "I know you're not," Heidi replied. She wasn't the kind of girl to do something she didn't want to do. Heidi wanted to sleep with Tuck, she loved being in his arms, and waking up with him every morning. She wanted to give him this trip, to give him everything he wanted, to show him how much he meant to her, how much she trusted him. She wanted to give Tuck everything and more. It was nice to hear that he didn't expect anything out of her, she liked not feeling pressured.

There was a faint look of disappointment when she was put down but it quickly disappeared when Tuck kissed her. She loved intimacy with Tuck, especially that one thing he did, but kisses would always be her favorite.

"No you," Heidi whispered back with a little smile. He was the best. The best. No question, no contest. "Sure, sure~. Want me to carry anything? I'm good for it." She could totally carry anything he gave her. She's got this.

"I'm totally okay with you just holding me forever." And ever and ever and ever. Heidi squeezed Tuck's hands. It was scary how okay with that idea she was, but only kind of. It was more exciting than anything. Reluctantly she released Tuck's hands so he could grab the box of food and anything else he wanted to bring with them, leaving him only to turn off the boombox and blow the candle out. She couldn't thank him enough for doing this.

"I got it, you wanna just grab the doors for me," Tuck effortlessly lifted the rickety little makeshift picnic basket and stole a kiss from Heidi before he gestured towards the door with a jerk of his chin. He couldn't stop smiling. "Well, I mean, you could grab that sheet and the boombox, I guess. I can come pick up everythin' else later."

Tuck waited by the door, completely content to just watch Heidi. "I like how long your hair's gettin'," he remarked completely out of the blue, grinning like a fool the entire time.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 15, 2013 3:27 pm

Heidi nodded when he asked if she could grab the boombox and sheet. She picked up the player and set it down on the table, wrapping the sheet around it like a makeshift bag to make it easier to transport both items while still grabbing doors for Tuck. "Is this Gnat's music again? Does she know you take her stuff~?" Heidi recalled their first date. She'd found out over twitter or something, but did she know he'd taken it again?

At the comment on her hair she blinked and looked up at Tuck with surprise. "Oh?" She smiled, combing her fingers through her hair almost self-consciously. "Thank you~. I like it, too. S'been awhile since I grew it out. I used to cut it 'cause it was just easier to take care of short hair when I liked being so active and stuff, I didn't feel like putting effort into how I looked beyond making sure I was dressed properly." The blonde shrugged and then blew her bangs away from her face. It was..kind of different now. Whereas before she still just tossed on whatever when seeing Tuck, every now and then she did just want to doll up and look pretty for him. It was new to her to want to look good, to wear makeup and jewelry and cute clothes that were different from her usual. Heidi was finding it kind of fun. "I like braiding it, it's fun."

Heidi pushed open the first door and nudged the rock out of the way so neither of them would step or trip on it. She'd let the door close after both of them had passed through it. "After putting pink streaks in Otto's hair it was kinda tempting to put color in mine...my school wouldn't let us, sooo I wanted to but never did. But it doesn't look like this place has rules on hair color." Heidi nudged open another door, looking up at Tuck with curiosity. She was kind of asking permission this time. "Would you hate it if I put more color in my hair? Blonde gets kinda boring sometimes...and I was thinking it'd look cool if I braid my hair and it's got colors all in it, y'know?" It wouldn't be permanent! Really! She just wanted to see how it'd look.

"Mmmmmaybe it's Gnat's," Tuck tried to look absolutely innocent but it wasn't really working. "An' she doesn't know. I snuck into her room an' took it from her. It was an emergency, Heidi. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Can't dance with no music."

He was kind of surprised to hear that Heidi didn't feel like putting effort into how she looked in the past. She always looked amazing to Tuck - he didn't care what she did with her hair, and his grunt echoed off the walls of the stairs as he started making his way down to the first floor.

"Whatever you wanna do, I don't care. You wanna put colors in your hair, you'd still be my Heidi. S'just hair." He paused and squinted over his shoulder at her. "But it'd look real nice," he continued, just in case he was coming off as too dismissive. Tuck honestly didn't care, because she'd still be Heidi no matter what color her hair was. "I like it long, I like it short or blonde or green or purple or pink."

He reached the bottom of the stairs and backed into the door so that he could open it.

"Watch the rock, baby."
PostPosted: Mon Jul 15, 2013 4:42 pm

"An emergency," Heidi parroted with a grin, shaking her head. "You can totally dance without music, dude. The secret is you make your own music, or it's in your head. Mm..I think I owe you a song still~." Her mind had been a little preoccupied with things not find-a-song-to-sing-for-Tuck. She'd find one, she wouldn't forget, it would just take a little longer than she planned on.

Yes, she'd still be his Heidi. The assurance made her giggle. "Yes, I'm your Heidi, your Heidi." And he was her Tuck. Her Theodore. "Thank you, Tuck." He was perfect. He let her be her, he didn't care if she dressed well or if she dressed in an old ratty t-shirt and shorts, or if she wore makeup, or if she was lazy about her hair. He thought she was perfect, he said it constantly. He did these sweet things for her, he went out of his way to do nice things for her and make her happy. Tuck was funny, thoughtful, they liked the same things, he was warm and loving and encouraging, he didn't control her or pressure her..

"Huh?" Heidi was brought out of her reverie by his voice, narrowly avoiding stepping on the rock he'd warned her about. She squeaked and stumbled. She spun on her heel to avoid stepping on the rock, fumbling and turning on her other heel while hugging the boombox to her chest before finally catching herself on the wall.

Her eyes were wide and her grip on the boombox was so tight it almost hurt. "...Nailed it," she finally said. Clearing her throat, Heidi pushed off the wall and carefully swung the sheet over her shoulder so the boombox was on her back, both hands tightly holding the sheet closed.

"You do," he chuckled and waited, brows lifting at her comment about being his, "an' damn right you are." It was a pretty amazing feeling, not having to worry about her seeing someone else or those petty emotions of jealousy that tasted bitter on his tongue. Not with Heidi. Never with Heidi. He still felt that possessiveness, but Tuck blamed most of that on Herryk.

Most of it.

He damn near dropped the box at her squeak - all he managed in the time it took her to hit the wall was an awkward readjustment of the box in his hands so that he could free one, and even then it went ********, you okay?" He'd have been more worried if Heidi hadn't readjusted the sheet over her shoulder. "You can just toss the sheet on this box if you want, does anything hurt? You want me to carry you? I can come back for the box and the radio after I get you back to the room?"
PostPosted: Tue Jul 16, 2013 5:54 pm

Heidi laughed, her face flushed with embarrassment. "I'm fine, I'm fine. Really. I was just..thinking...so I forgot what I was doing and tried to avoid the rock when you spoke up." She shook her head at his question, giving Tuck a bright smile. It was sweet that he was concerned but it was just a bump against the wall. She'd had falls out of trees that were more painful.

Heidi just uh..wouldn't...mention that. If Tuck got worried over her hitting a wall he probably didn't want to hear about past broken bones and hospital trips.

"As much as I love you carrying me everywhere, I'm fine. You coming back for these means you'll be away for longer than just a shower and a shave," Heidi pointed out with a pout of her lips. Tuck wanted to hold her forever, she wanted him to hold her forever, so there would be no delay in this other than him showering. "Heck, it doesn't bother me if you shave or not. You could always just keep being lazy and shave tomorrow morning instead." She stepped up to hop up on her toes and give Tuck a quick kiss. "But thank you, Tuck. It means a lot that you're concerned." She nuzzled her face against his arm and kissed his shoulder. He was so sweet.

Matilda huffed. If thine beau frets over a wall, how will he handle you fighting at all?

That had Heidi frowning. It'd be fine. Tuck knew she could handle it. They'd sparred before...he wasn't afraid to spar her.

"..Tuck? What did you do in the army? Like, did you do the fighting and stuff?" The army had different parts to it, right? It made sense in Heidi's head. "Maybe you could teach me some! I don't see myself, y'know, getting up close and personal with a bow very often but...just in case, maybe?" She had started walking again, the sheet settled comfortably over her shoulder and her smile returning. Learning from Tuck could be fun!

...Though it probably meant waking up stupid early. Crap. Heidi liked sleeping in. But if him teaching her how to fight and defend herself could possibly ease any worries Tuck might have? She'd wake up at ungodly hours for Tuck. Matilda did have a point.

Tuck grunted and opened his mouth like he was prepared to argue with Heidi, but he snapped his mouth shut as he thought better of it. She was completely ******** capable, or else she wouldn't be here on the island. Simple as that.

He was still trying to convince himself.

Tuck started walking again, leaning over to press a kiss to the top of Heidi's head.

"I wasn't in the Army real long before ... before s**t turned sour. No fightin', nothin' like that. I had a military issue firearm when I was overseas, but I mean. That's 'bout it." He shot Heidi a look.

A look.

"What kinda fightin' you lookin' to get into?" He wasn't sure if he liked the sound of it, but if she wanted to work on close combat he knew enough about football and s**t - but he'd never had any practice with it in the Army. "I didn't learn nothin' like super close combat in the Army. We just did drills mosta the time in basic."
