"Oh, that is a shame. This will have to do then." She wouldn't go any further than this. These golems were an experiment, right? Perhaps one day they would be sturdier. Matilda did not hate being Heidi's weapon but she did very much like this golem outing. She definitely wanted to do it again.
Herryk continued to insist Tuck was a good boil and she nodded her head, wrapping her hair around her shoulders like a scarf so she could carefully turn. One hand reached down to hold her dress so it wouldn't trip her up, the other held out to one side in Herryk's direction just in case she did fall. "He is a good boil. He makes Heidi indescribably happy. We will just have to keep an eye on them so they do not lose focus...but.." Matilda sighed. "I will stop trying to hold her back, however. With the exception of the other night, often when they are together I do my best to reign her in from things she wants to do. Like Tuck." See what she did there? Matilda was damn clever.
She gave Herryk an amused look. "That is also a secret."

Herryk's lips parted in a broad smile, white teeth flashing against his impossibly dark skin. He watched Matilda carefully.
"Matilda is different than Herryk, then. Herryk has been trying to ... encourage Theodore."
The draugr laughed then, eyes twinkling impishly at the long-haired Matilda.
"Herryk can keep secrets." He held a broad hand up to his broader chest. "Herryk promises."

Matilda laughed, grinning up at the larger golem with amusement. "I should have known! Then Heidi was right to call him a barbarian." She was not saying she would encourage Heidi alongside Herryk but she would not be as quick to stop her anymore.
"Good, Matilda promises to keep Tuck's feelings secret as well." She stepped out of the water after that, wringing out the hem of her dress. Hm..
How long had it been? "Do you think they will remember the agreement of forty-five minutes?"

Almost as if on cue there came the sound of deep, masculine laughter. Herryk turned over his shoulder to peer in the direction of the noise. The draugr shook his head when he caught sight of Theodore, who had paused to kiss Heidi while making their way to the beach.
"It seems Theodore has not forgotten the agreement," Herryk didn't sound surprised. "Is Matilda steady enough or will Matilda need a ride on Herryk's shoulder?"

The laugh was followed by a feminine giggle that had Matilda looking past Herryk in time to see Tuck and Heidi kissing off in the distance. The girl had her arms around Tuck's neck and she was standing on her tiptoes so Tuck didn't have to bend down as far.
"Very good," Matilda said with a sigh of relief. They didn't get so carried away they forgot. The Banshee smiled up at Herryk as he offered her another ride. Hm..she did feel better, but the sand was strange. "Perhaps, let us see if I am able to walk through the sand first. I do like how it feels." She used Herryk as a leaning post as they walked just in case, her hand against the other's arm.
Matilda cleared her throat. "My lady! Is our time over so soon? 'Tis a shame," she sighed dramatically, tossing her hair over her shoulder and making her way to the young couple. Heidi had stopped kissing Tuck when she heard Matilda's voice, her hands sliding to the man's chest as she stood flat on her feet. She grinned from ear to ear at the sight of the two golems. Next time she would spend more time with Matilda. Next time.
"Hey guys! Did you two like the beach?"

Tuck looked relaxed and comfortable, dimples bracketing the huge grin that was brightening his face. He wrapped his arm around Heidi as Herryk and Matilda approached. He felt refreshed, and Herryk was glad that his bonded seemed so filled with happiness. The weapon turned a grin in Heidi's direction.
"Matilda stood in the water, and Herryk always enjoys the beach. It is so very soothing, after all. It was also very much a pleasure getting to know Matilda."
Herryk chuckled softly and glanced down at the banshee by his side.
Tuck watched both weapons closely. Nothing seemed off, which was a relief. No secrets spilled. It was a scary thing, having part of your consciousness walking around, but Tuck trusted Herryk - most of the time.
"We gotta get back. Next week, we'll do this again, man."

When Tuck held her she made a happy little sound and stood pressed close to his side, her arms around his middle. Heidi was still giddy, looking up at Tuck with pure adoration until Herryk and Matilda approached them. Her attention turned back to the two weapons, her smile huge. "I'm glad you two had a good time~."
Matilda watched the two of them. It was one thing to see Tuck from Heidi's eyes, an entirely different thing to see the both of them together with her own eyes. She said nothing, she simply looked from one to the other. They were happy, blissfully so. Matilda tried to hide her smile. When she noticed Tuck watching them she gave him the most innocent of looks. What? Problem? Herryk most certainly did not make her promise secrecy.
"Yes, I would love to do this again. Thank you, Theodore, Heidi, for allowing us this opportunity." Matilda gave them a low bow. The act was back. Heidi giggled.
"I liked it! Oh..wait...our trip is next week, Tuck." Heidi blinked and looked up at him. "Did you want to wait until after?"

Tuck lifted his brows and peered down at Matilda before glancing at Heidi. He'd kind of forgotten - not about the trip, but the fact that the trip was coming up so soon.
...and Matilda had totally ******** called him Theodore.
He narrowed his eyes at Herryk and was treated to a broad white grin.
"Yeah, we can wait 'til after." Tuck shrugged his shoulders and turned an about face so that he could get the little group on their way. Herryk lingered slightly as he waited for Matilda on the off-chance that she might want a ride.
"I'm hungryyyyy," Tuck whined softly, still grinning broadly as he leaned down to kiss Heidi's temple.

Matilda was the picture of innocence. Problem, Theodore? Did she say something wrong? Heh. Heidi moved easily with Tuck, and Matilda decided she would take Herryk up on that offer for a ride on his shoulder. Walking was overrated. Heidi grinned up at Tuck as he complained about being hungry, closing her eyes when he kissed her temple, and then returning the affection with a kiss to his cheek. "So whinyyyyyyy," she whined right back. Her thumb rubbed circles into Tuck's lower back while they walked. "I'll feed you after we return our golems, and then you owe me a massage. You prooooomised." And she was holding him to that. She wanted the best neck and shoulder massage of her life.

Herryk huffed slightly under his breath as he lifted to hoist Matilda to his shoulder. "Herryk is going to be sick," the draugr said especially loudly, though there was humor in his voice. Tuck laughed at his weapon and sent Herryk a smile over his shoulder. "Hustle." Tuck had things to do. It didn't take long for the four of them to reach the labs once more, the clock ticking down on their hour allotment. Herryk set Matilda down gently, much like one would treat a frail baby animal.

Heidi grinned at Herryk over her shoulder as he complained about being sick because of them. "Could be worse, we could just cuddle all night and call each other pet names the whole time," she threatened playfully, nudging Tuck. "That sounds fun, right? Snugglemuffin." Even Heidi would admit oh my god that is a stupid name.
He was never getting called Snugglemuffin again.
Matilda was trying not to laugh.
When they finally arrived Heidi checked the time while Matilda settled on her own two feet. Heidi let go of Tuck then and turned to the two weapons. It was kind of weird to say goodbye when they weren't actually going anywhere, they were just returning to their Hunters the way they were meant to be. But Matilda received a hug from the blonde anyway, something that surprised the banshee. The hug was returned nonetheless, the ghoul even receiving a headpat and a smile. It was Herryk she was saying goodbye to, really. She stepped up to the huge freakin' golem and smiled up at him. "Thank you entertaining Matilda~. It was very nice to meet you, Herryk!" She reached up to offer him a hug as well.
After the hug Heidi checked the time. Aw, man. Time was almost out.

While Tuck offered Matilda a smile and a hug, Herryk drew Heidi up into his arms and hugged the young woman tightly, leaving her feet to dangle. "It was nice to meet Heidi face to face," the weapon chuckled before settling Heidi back down on her own two feet. "Herryk is very much looking forward to this trip," he added before he made his way to his own pod-bed.
The tech made shooing motions and Herryk slipped into the pod, though the door remained open.
"This is kinna awkward, I never know what to say, s'not like we're sayin' goodbye or anythin'," Tuck rubbed the back of his neck.

Matilda was surprised again when Tuck hugged her. She did return it, awkwardly patting his back. "Thou will treat my lady right, or face mine wrath," she said quietly to him, though she was smiling. After what Herryk had told her she was a bit more trusting of the boil.
Heidi squeaked as Herryk picked her up, clinging to the huge golem and laughing. "It was nice to meet you too, Herryk!" She was glad to be on the ground again, but Herryk's mention of the trip made her blush. Oh, god...the weapons would be there. Right. Heidi giggled nervously. "No pressure or anything~." She just had two men to keep entertained instead of the one. Right. Ha. Heh. Right.
Matilda followed Herryk into her own pod and climbed daintily into it, taking a moment to pull all of her hair in with her. "I'm surprised this was as painless as it was, really. I mean, they know things. They could have embarrassed the crap out of us.." Heidi chuckled and gave Matilda a wave until her pod door was closed. The bracelet deactivated and was taken off. She sighed with relief and rubbed her wrist once it was gone. That cuff felt so weird.

After Herryk was tucked away, the bracelet deactivated and Tuck handed it to the tech.
You get any juicy secrets?
<Yes.>
Oh yeah?
<Yes. But they are secrets, and Herryk will keep them as such.>
"Yeah," Tuck grunted and squinted down at Heidi before reaching out to take her hand. "Dinner?" He broke into a smile before squirreling her out of the room.

Heidi knew of Matilda's successful return when she heard the banshee giggling. Heidi blinked.
What?
Nothing, nothing. Nothing at all.
Heidi narrowed her eyes for a moment, relaxing in time to feel Tuck's eyes on her and see him looking down at her with that squinty look of his. "What?" She squeezed his hand, lacing her fingers through his and raising their hands to kiss his knuckles. "Dinner for my very patient man, yes~." Heidi giggled, following after Tuck without missing a step.
