Quinn didn't think twice as she splashed into the water after shoving her half-drank beer into the sand to save for later. She assumed that Veer would follow after her, considering this was his idea- What she wasn't expecting, however, was his arm wrapping around her waist. She squealed with laughter and flailed, kicking water up around them (and at anyone else who happened to be unlucky enough to be within their vacinity).

"Nonononononono~ veer don't!" Her voice was high pitched - not a panicked high pitched, more of a laughing-while-talking-really-loudly sort of high pitched - and she turned her body as best as she could and latched herself onto him.

If she was going down, he was going down with her, damnit!

Party the summer she graduated? More than okay by this small teen. Grinning from ear to ear, Serenity walked along the beach, happy to feel the sand between her toes. She wore wedged sandals, always popular for this kind of thing, and a bathing suit in blue and white that could pass for a cute outfit. She had a wide, white hat on her head and her beach bag at her side.

Just as she found her spot, someone else had dropped their towel there and sucked down to her adorable bikini! Well, this girl had a sense of her body. With a flirty grin on her face, Serenity marched up to her and dropped her bag down in the sand. "Well hello there! I don't think I've seen you before." Not that she knew a lot of people, but whatever. "Mind if I join you?"

"Lila? I'm Serenity Kinderman." She gave the girl a little wink and then just settled her towel next to Lila's before gracefully sitting down and leaned back. "Mm! I've waited so long to go to the beach. I've wanted to come since winter!" With that said, she slipped some sunglasses onto her face and looked over at the other girl.

"I'm a recent graduate.. I'm usually seen shopping, so unless you're a frequent at the mall, you've probably easily overlooked me. Most do." She grinned a bit more, winking. The warmth, the smell of the ocean, the chatter.. Serenity could relax.

So it was, then; moving to drop her down into the water, except like a leech she clung to him, and the pair of them went down under. Elmer's glue would hold up to the water, to a degree, but as it got soggy, it would start to fall loose. By the time Veer surfaced for a breath, his mohawk was floppy again, crooked, like a bent sail. Alas.

From the shore, there'd be splashing, and Quinn's rather-entertaining squeals -- only a tiny bit worrisome, and even then, only to the paranoid.

"I count it as a victory." It'd be better with more beer, though. He took quick step back in the water, maybe to keep her from retaliating.

Better late than never right? That was the attitude that Zac was currently carrying with him as he joined the revelries. He kicked out of his sandals and made his way towards the most appealing of the familiar faces. He paused for a moment, watching her play in the surf with a redhead she seemed to be fond of. He couldn’t immediately remember any name for him, and that significantly decreased the likelihood that he was a Negaverse officer…perhaps Dark Moon? What were the chances of civilians here at this point?

He pushed the thoughts aside and shifted the bucket that he’d brought with him, reaching in with a free hand and testing the heft of the blue fragile object he now held.

Oh yes, sometimes it was marvelous to have so much practice lobbing ranged weapons at the world. “QUINN!”

He called, just long enough to get her attention before adding. “CATCH!”

And chucked the water balloon at her with surprising accuracy.

Trevor who was tired of sitting on the shore by himself, as much as he enjoyed watching the stars stood up dusting off his bottom and stretching a bit before taking off his shirt and tossing it over his shoulder slowly headed back towards where the real activity was going on. He figured another good place to make some new friends was probably the bonfire he looked around seeing if he could recognize any faces.

He paused before spotting Orah they had briefly met at pi day and saw once again on patrol one night but she seemed preoccupied. He then looked around and spotted Serenity but she was also preoccupied. He looked around once again and afraid he wouldn't get to talk to anyone he spotted Amarilla there was a face he recognized and she didn't look like she was talking to anyone so he made his way over to her "Hey..Amarilla..nice to see you again" he said.

Arian nodded sipping at his own sprite "I've lived here for a couple of years now" he said quietly. "But I grew up in the UK." Sometimes it was hard to believe that it had only been two years, given all that had happened in them.

He wrinkled his nose slightly "I spent my first summer here mostly studying as my cousin got me special dispensation so that I could take my GCSE exams over here, plus I had to do catch up work for Meadowview." He hadn't exactly been enthused when Saffy had told him, having figured that the whole moving country would give him a pass out of having to stress over exams like his old classmates were having too.

He absently tugged at the low ponytail he'd stuck his hair into as he spoke. "It wasn't all study though, I also got to go to Summer Camp." The food hadn't been great, but it had pretty okay apart from that - well that, the finding out he was a senshi part and the swamp monster things.

He smiled "You probably know more about Ireland than I do since I've never been there, but the pictures of it always look really pretty." Well at least the pictures of the actual country looked pretty.

Quinn's attention turned from Veer to squint at the shore to see who called her name. When she realized who it was, her eyes widened and her lips split into a broad grin. That was, until she realized that the word 'catch' came after her name, and was quickly followed by a water balloon that exploded upon collision.

She burst out laughing and unattached herself from Veer, waving at her very dry friend on land. "HI ZAC~!" She called out. "That's Zac," she replied, as if she hadn't just yelled out his name. She looked back and forth to make sure no one was within ear shot, then went up on her tiptoes to whisper quietly in Veer's ear, "Zinkenite." A pause followed by, "General King."

"And I'd say we get water balloons by stealing them from him and getting revenge!" Quinn made her way back up to the shore assuming Veer would follow, and jumped at Zac to embrace him in a very wet hug, getting his clothes soaking wet.

"Nice of you to join us, Zacy-poo~" she cooed and laughed. "Zac, this is my boyfriend Veer. He's um... On 'my team'," she said, throwing air quotes around the words, hoping he would follow what she meant.
