Dante smiled faintly as she reacted the same as she used to to this action of his. She hugged him back. It was fairly normal to him yet foreign since he hadn't done it in such a long time. He felt like a something was unlocked in him when he heard her say that she was sorry and he started to let the tears that threatened to fall, go. Hearing her say that she missed him was something he hadn't expected but he welcomed it too. He wanted to hear those words form her lips for so long that it just broke him. He chuckled lightly at her teasing. "Shut up. You're crying too." He told her playfully as he held her small body close to his own. It was a different feel than it was then. He was bigger than her and she was more curvy than she had been when he last held her like this. "I wanted to tell you that I was sorry for what had happened all those years ago but I can't say what for exactly since I can't remember what it was for but I do forgive you, Akira..." He whispered to her.

Dante was happy that it was over and they could e able to let it go now that they had gotten it all out of the way. It was something that he had hoped she would do and not stay mad at him. He chuckled lightly at what she said. They couldn't forget the past it was a part of them now and they couldn't just go back to when they were kids. It was different now. "Our past has changed us a lot. So we really can't forget it" He said to her. He sighed a little when she said he should to his room because as soon as she said it he was getting tired. "Alright." He said a little sadly before standing up straight and letting go of her. He was happy. He was truly happy for the first time since he was little. Yeah, he still felt a little pain but it would go away now for good. He hoped it would now.

Dante smiled back at her before he followed her. He remembered that at one point when he was with her he had liked her more than a friend should have. That was the reason he had kept kissing her before but he made it seem as if it was nothing. He didn't want her to think he did like her then. He went to the door she held open for him.

He smirked at what she said. "I didn't think you were one to give up on something you wanted. You should spar with me something while I'm here." He told her as he looked at her. He knew she wouldn't give up on her goals even if her father said it was something only fit for men. She had been like that with him. She wanted to do some of the things he did. "So will you show me to my room?" He asked her.

Dante walked along side her with her clicking noise and all. He smiled at how she managed to learn. "Of course it would have to be. Your father would be mad if he knew that you even touched a sword with your hands... I really never thought of you as the delicate type anyway." He said to her as he kept walking with her. Her father was interesting to him. He loved her so much but limited her in how she grew. 'If she was married to me I wouldn't limit her abilities like that...I would....' He tired hard not to blush at the thought that randomly popped in his mind in response to what he said. "I would have figured my knowledge of you would be out of date but it seems it's not entirely yet." He said to her trying to think of something else. When she stopped he did too and looked inside the grand room that he was to stay in for the time he would be courting Akira. he sighed as he looked back at her and then kissed her on her cheek when he held her once more. "Good night, Princess Akira." He said before letting her go. He patted her head. "Thank you for tonite." He told her before stepping into the room as if nothing had phased him with his actions as he did when he was a child. He held the door as he faced her so he could watch her go.

Dante nodded at her. "I know you did change. That's not what I meant though." He told her. He had watched her smile at him and then go down the hall. When she disappeared he slowly closed the door. he didn't know what to think now that she was away from him. He had went back to stealing kisses from her as if he was a child yet he couldn't get the red cheeks to go away when she had left him alone. He couldn't pretend that it didn't effect him anymore because despite him telling her he didn't think she was attractive to him when she was way more younger made the attraction to her much more worse now that she had grown. He didn't want to make her like him that way after they had only just broke their wall down. He still knew her well but he wanted to know what had changed before he just starts to let his feelings just bubble back up for her. He sighed at the confused feelings he had. He went to change and then throw himself on the elegant bed. He couldn't believe that his feelings that he had kept hidden for his best friend was ten times worse since he had bottled it up for so long. He blushed at the thought of marrying her which popped into his head randomly while talking of her father. It wasn't normal to think of how he would treat her if she was his...right? He stared at the wall until he could deaden his mind enough for it.

Dante was awaken by on of the maids that seemed to be blushing like crazy at seeing his chest exposed in front of them. He couldn't blame them. Their King doesn't look like him and he has his queen to help him up if need be. He was surprised that his room became a small side show for the maids. He was used to that kind of reaction at home too. No matter how much they got him up they always blushed at how he looked. He thanked the maids and they were cooed off by someone outside the door who he thought to be the head maid there. He rubbed his head as he put his elbow on his leg and thought of what happened when he woke. He put his fingers on his lips as if he had stolen his first kiss from the easily distracted Akira. It was always too easy for him to steal kisses from her. He never kissed her on her lips but it still wasn't the right time to do something like that to her when they had just reconciled yesterday. Her feelings couldn't have completely changed regarding him entirely yet. They still had to reteach each other about the other. Not everything changed but they had become different from that time until now. He had grown extremely shy at one point in his life when he hadn't spoken in two years. His trust had waned more and he was someone that had ended up keeping his feelings locked up. he had let the lock on it loose yesterday because of the stress he was put under when he entered the house and was also told would have been the reason someone would have run away. He finished getting on his clothes and finished getting ready to eat breakfast with the King and Queen. He headed there on his own leaving Akira to come on her own. Of course coming together would put someone's hopes up and he didn't know what was going to happen with them.

Dante continued to walk towards the dining room and was left with his thoughts again. He ran his hand through his hair and noticed the stares he was getting. He sighed at it and went to open the doors and then closed them. He walked close to the king and queen so he could bow to them. "Good morning." He said happily as if nothing was wrong with him. He went to take his seat across from Akira. She seemed tired while she was picking at her food. He started eating his food as she spoke to her father.

His eyes looked up from his food to her. They were making a fuss because of him but she had asked him something else. He noticed she had changed the subject at least twice before getting to him. "Not really. A maid interrupted it." He said before taking up his glass and drinking from it. When he put it down down he smiled at her. “So what are we going to do today, Aki?" He asked her.
