Kleos - D1Dodge. D2 Attack A'nos. D3 Attack A'nosHP: 212/250 Attack: 1d8+3 Dodge: 1d8+2 Damage done: 4 + 4 = 8 Damage taken: 4 + 4 + 6 + 5 + 2 = 21 - 4 = 17
Kleos was far from satisfied, she had the coward in her sights and would not relent until he lay upon the ground either dead or unconscious. Sparing a little attention to keep herself out of range of the wher's teeth and to weave aside from its handler's knife a little she lunged again at A'nos, her light green eyes blazing.
Stirring from sleep Moriath tried to work out where her rider was; Kleos was too busy to tell her so all she had were her lifemate's eyes. Jungle. 'Jungle' was not actually a great deal of help around Trine.

She was focusing on A'nos for some reason or another, and he wondered if there was some history between the two. That was the only reason that he could think of why she was focusing on attacking him, unless she had decided that it would be best to take down each rider individually.
He didn't know enough about her to know her style.
His next strike wasn't one of his best, tripping as he moved to strike her, but he caught himself, allowing himself to tumble forward rather than fall. It was an awkward position to attack from, but he slashed at her legs anyways.

V'ell wasn't sure whether it was cleverness or stubbornness that kept Kleos focusing on the one rider. True, if she focused on one of them at a time, ultimately she'd end up with fewer opponents all attacking at once: keep to one target until it drops, then move on to the next most dangerous threat. But until she whittled down their numbers, she'd be having a hard time.
Zarth? Be ready, love. She might call for her dragon, and if she does, I may need your help to keep her from escaping or bringing in the cavalry. A dragon couldn't harm humans, of course. But dragons could hurt whers, or bring in reinforcements from Tine.

Faranth, everyone was in her sharding way! Ralla wasn't used to working with so many people in one fight for one target, and she wasn't off to a good start. It seemed like every time she tried to strike, someone else moved, and she had to avoid hitting them instead. This made her more cautious than usual, and the damage she caused continued to be negligible.
Unacceptable.

Rather the bronze rider than her, Harmony considered grimly as she tried to get in close enough to score another good hit. It was hard with so many of them, but then again there was safety in numbers. If Trine sent aid, they would need them.

The smell of blood in the air was a thrill, the flash of their knives and his claws. Would he be allowed to eat this one when they finished?... Probably not, so far as he understood this one was Keller's prize. He could accept that, so long as there was some kind of reward at the end of it.

Shards, would she just let up? He wasn't getting far with dodging and weaving, perhaps striking out at her would be a better idea. If she kept this up he could always collapse before he'd really reached his limit, he didn't think that the foolish woman was the sort to finish off a downed foe and he did think that his allies would rescue him. This would probably be especially true if he made a brave showing in the face of a vicious assault.
All of this went through A'nos' mind in the space of a few moments, and with his decision made he lunged at Kleos.

D3 Attack A'nos HP: 183/250 Attack: 1d8+3 Dodge: 1d8+2 Damage done: 11 + 10 = 21 Damage taken: (4 + 5 + 4 + 7 + 6 + 6) 32 - 3 = 29 Kleos cried out in pain under the rain of blows, couldn't help it despite he best efforts to be stoic in the face of her enemies. ...Was it her show of weakness that drove the bronze rider to attack her in turn rather than dodging and weaving like the coward he was? If it was then it was a mistake on his part, a deadly one.
Letting out another cry, this time one of rage and defiance, Kleos lunged again at A'nos and drove her knife deep once into his shoulder, once into his side. The look of shock in his dark eyes as she drew her blade out bloody was deeply satisfying, a fact that would probably disturb the crimson rider later on.

He wasn't sure if A'nos could take much more of that, but he wasn't exactly sure how to draw her attention away from him either. Even being attacked by a bronze wher wasn't doing it.
He slipped in the moment he saw an opening, slashing at her side. He'd like to get a good hit at her throat, or her knife hand, to do the most damage and possibly make her drop her knife, but he was having to take what he could.
This was very inefficient.

And A'nos was down. Well, no time or room to rescue him. Grim-faced, V'ell kept up the assault without flinching or hesitation. Hopefully A'nos wouldn't bleed to death before they took Kleos out and had the opportunity to stabilize him.
Or maybe he would bleed out anyway. V'ell couldn't bring herself to be that upset about one less bronzerider in the world.

He tried to defend himself, he did. He even managed to deflect the savage blow to his side a little. A little, not enough. His blade slipped from his fingers and for a moment he stood staring at Kleos, one hand pressed to the wound in his side. It wasn't supposed to go like this. The harper's legs buckled and he collapsed and his dark eyes slid closed as he lost consciousness.

One down. Harmony grimaced and resolved not to go for the woman's back, apparently that just made you a target. She couldn't say she knew A'nos but he was an ally, she definitely didn't want him to die. The sooner the could end this and get him out of here the better.
Stepping over the bronze rider Harmony slashed at Kleos' face with her knife, too focused to bother with banter.
