Al smiled, clearly looking relieved, "I think I'm more scared of a fight." He laughed hoping this meant the tension might finally be off.

"As you should ******** be. Still I would hope even drunk you wouldn't be dumb enough to start s**t with me." he gave Al a cocky smirk, though it was still hard to concentrate on it through the vague guilt. "Did you have much to drink at the party? You should have swiped a few bottles."

Al looked shifty before gesturing downward underneath himself, "Couplabottles. I didn't have much at the party, but I hoped to try again later. Party died after you guys left. Like, you guys took the party with you or something."

"Good. Always take advantage of free s**t on this island. You might never know when you'll get hold of it again, you are learning." Rep too couldn't help but take advantage of free s**t, and the presence of alcohol in the room seemed to have distracted him from whatever had been weighing on him.

Al laughed distractedly, "Yeah man, I believe it." He'd forgotten what they were just discussing, "Want some? I grabbed the good s**t like you said."

Rep's expression lit up. The only thing better than free booze was free booze pilfered from someone else's competing stash. "When would I ever ******** say no to more drink?" He especially felt like he could use it after his recent meltdowns, a bit of fuzzy drunkenness to take the edge off. Maybe it'd be easier to lie, to impress the death hunter with a bit of liquid courage in his system.
"You really are learning." he purred, holding out his hand for a bottle.

Al reached under himself and shifted to haul a bottle of whiskey out from under his furs and offered it over, "I don't have any glasses though."

"Only pussies drink from a bottle, man." Rep said sagely. "Its for people who want to ******** track how much they've had to drink. My motto is when you've run out of booze, you've maybe had enough. Till then, only the weak ******** surrender." He opened the bottle and took an illustrative swig, shaking his head at the initial kick.
"The only reason to drink is to get drunk."

Al watched with glowing pride. Just when he thought Rep couldn't get any more amazing; he just did. He eagerly gestured to have the bottle passed back.

Rep handed the bottle back with a grin before leaning back on his hands. "Take a proper drink of it man. It stops stinging the more you drink, so you need to take a lot to get rid of it right off the bat."

Al drew a deep steadying breath before throwing his head back to take a proper dizzying swig. He immediately held the bottle out for Rep to take back. It was still awful.

"Good." Rep said with an approving nod, taking another deep swig of the drink that really hit the spot, the familiar vague visual shift that always accompanied hits of strong liquor settling in nicely. He flopped back to lay on the floor as he handed the bottle back. "See? Doesn't sting so much the second time. Like anything else, more you do it, less it annoys."

Al was more hesitant to take the bottle but still did. Eying it over before finally taking another brutal swig before handing it right back, "Mmmaybe."

Rep held up the bottle in front of his face thoughtfully, watching the liquid slosh around. "Booze actually isn't that nice. I don't like the taste." He deep down preferred mixed drinks, where you couldn't taste the alcohol even half as much, but those in a lot of cases were poof juice, for women and pansies. "I used to prefer like, drugs and s**t, quicker hit, quicker mood lift. Can't get anything like that here that isn't a ******** charge, and I'm no allowed to spar."

He propped himself up on an elbow and took another swig. "Well if I'm drinking I'm no ******** lying on the floor doing it." he said, getting up to hand the bottle back.
"I'll be back in a ******** minute." he said, getting up to head out of Al's room and along the corridor to the stairwell.
When he came back, he was wearing a large and very beautiful polar bear fur like some sort of arctic shaman, with the cowl of the head on his head. In his arms was a bottle of green drink which simply said Absinthe on the side.
Putting down the bottle, he spread out the polar bear fur on the floor where he'd been sitting and sat on it instead. "Better. My a** deserves better than the floor in here."

"I've never like...," And then Rep was suddenly up and off. He waited in silence for the man's return. When he came back Al looked both confused and intrigued. "I could have shared... like.. wait.. is that?..." He gestured at the fur and his jaw dropped. He had no clue what the green stuff was.
