Tahigwa's lips puckered, her eyes growing wide as they did, and gasped.
"Who's the wise one?!" She squealed. Ilyra had NEVER spoken about a wise person before! Who were they? Where did they live?! "Tell me about them!"
"Yeah! He probably likes both!" She agreed, nodding along with the idea. Her brother was special and could be with anyone he wanted, just as long as they were nice and pretty. Tahigwa liked strange, but pretty things. It was sort of her trademark.

This time, Yaholo jumped at the chance to assert himself. It was his right to speak for himself! Not even his little sister, or her friend could tell him who he was! No sir! He was going to be a man and tell them exactly what he liked!
"Ilyra would be sort of right!" He said with an awkward smile. "There are a few girls that I find pretty, but not partner worthy just yet. They're not mature enough for me." He paused, blinking. Was he, himself, mature? He shrugged and continued. "I did meet a boy who I found interesting, he was another mixed breed, but very different than I am. I'm not certain if I found him pretty, though..."
His mother waved her hand in the air and giggled, patting him on the head. Her son was so precious, she would have to sneak away to visit him in Tale!
"Very good, keep scouting!" She teased. "No rushing love, though, sweetheart!"

Ilyra smiled at having the information that Tahigwa wanted. "She lives with me in my tree! She makes the best weapons out there! And she is so wise that her eyes are white!" she said point to her eyes and making them as wide as possible.
Ilyra nodded, yes he could be with ANYONE he wanted. He was special like that. "Well you are pretty. So keep looking for someone else pretty." Ilyra said in her young wisdom with a thumbs up sign towards him and a wide grin.

"Her eyes are WHITE?!" Tahigwa gasped. That was amaaaazzziiing! How did her eyes become white?! "No waaaay! Why haven't you told me about her before?!" Her best friend was keeping amazing information away from her! That wasn't nice, not nice at all!
She found herself giggling as Ilyra called Yaholo "pretty" and snuggled up to her brother. "Pretty pretty princess!" She giggled. "Yaholo's a pretty princess!"

"I am not a pretty princess, Tahigwa!" Yaholo whined, face palming. Sometimes his little sisters could be really annoying, if they wanted to be. He heaved a sigh as Tahigwa continued to giggle and gave his mother a pleading look.
"Make her stooop..." He said, pouting.
"Don't tease your brother!" His mother quipped, smirking. "You know better, Tahigwa. Yaholo isn't a pretty princess!" She shook her head and snickered. "He's a pretty prince!"
Yaholo groaned. He really couldn't catch a break today, could he?

"Well I wanted to make sure that what my mommy said was true before I said anything. I didn't want to tell you and then her not be as wise as mom said, but she is just as wise as she said! That's why I'm telling you nowww!" She said with her hands on her hips.
When their mom joined in by calling him a pretty prince she had to holdher stomach from laughing so hard. "The pretties pretty prince!" she added.

Tahigwa assumed a relaxed posture as Ilyra spoke and smiled. Oooo, that's why! Well, good on her for not wanting to spread rumors that could not be true! This woman sounded really cool, white eyed and wise, what an awesome combo! She giggled and snuggle up to her BFF. "You have to introduce me to her one day!" She squealed. "Maybe she can tell me how to be wise, too!"
Then, her mother "corrected" her, sending her into a fit of giggles again. Her mother was the greatest! She couldn't wait for her to get better so she could continue to make jokes like this all the time! "Mom, you're the funniest person EVER!" She exclaimed. "I hope you get to come outside again soon!"

Yaholo rolled his eyes as the room erupted into squeals and giggles again. Boy, if they weren't little and cute, they'd be getting a few choice words of their own! He sighed, but found himself admiring his mother's humor, she was so cheerful even through her illness. He hoped that he could be as tough as she was one day.
"Well, I don't care much for this conversation," He began, smiling. "But I'm glad that you enjoy it, mom."
"I'm glad you're all here to visit me!" Yaholo's mother cried, still filled to the brim with giggles. She gazed around the room for a moment, her eyes pausing to look upon each face, and she took a deep breath.
"You know what, I don't want to be here anymore. This SUCKS." She gripped the sides of the bed and pulled herself out of it. "I'M NOT SICK ANYMORE!" She exclaimed, balancing herself upon her one leg. "Grab my clothes and hand them to me! I, LULJETA, WILL NO LONGER LAY AROUND!"
"Mom! Holy s**t!" Yaholo screamed, leaping upwards. His gaze darted to Tahigwa, to his mother, and then to where his mother's clothes lay. What the hell was he going to do?! He shook, sighed, and handed his mother her clothes. "Please don't kill yourself, mom, I juuuust met yoooou..." He whined.

Ilyra smiled as she watched Tahigwa relax. "Yes! When you come to get your spear you can met her. She makes them." she said happily. She lived with the most awesome sisters ever!
She was laughing along with the others when Luljeta decided that she wouldn't be in bed any longer! "Uhhhh...." she said a little worried. Was Luljeta really all better? Was this safe? She was really scared that turn out bad, really bad. It was a good thing Yaholo was here. Maybe she should go get someone else also? She looked at Tahigwa to see if her friend had any ideas of what to do.

But Ilyra's look of questioning would be wasted, because Tahigwa was already up on her feet, rooting her mother on. "THAT'S RIGHT MOM!" She exclaimed. "You're all better, I can tell! No more bed time for you!" She helped her mother get her clothes on and handed her her old bow and arrow set. "There! Back to normal!" She squealed, tears forming in her eyes.
Then, she glanced to Ilyra, and tugged her up onto her feet. Her best friend had to stand up and witness the amazing return of her mother from what everyone had said was the brink of death! "See, I told you she would get better!" She said, snuggling against Ilyra. "Now we can go outside and show everyone how stupid they were to keep her locked away!"

Yaholo's heart beat increased and his posture froze. Great, all he wanted was to meet his mother, not create a crazy scenario where she could get herself hurt! He shifted in his position on the bed, painstakingly searching for something he could say or do to get his mother back in bed, and his a** out of trouble! As he thought, and thought, and thooought, he felt a tap on his forehead and found himself eye to eye with his grinning mother.
"Mother, I... I don't...I don't..." He stuttered, reaching out for the arrow she had bopped him with.
"You don't what, son?" Luljeta quipped, placing her hands on her hips. "I'm up, dressed, and ready to show this world what I'm made of!" She hobbled forward and hustled herself out the bedroom door, motioning for Tahigwa and Ilyra to follow. "Let's go kids! I've got a lot to see and do now that I'm back to normal!"
"WAIT! STOP!" Yaholo cried, practically throwing himself forward in order to catch them. But his cries fell upon deaf ears, as usual, and he found himself stepping outside, his mother having already beaten him to the door. "Mom... Pleaaase..." He whined.

Tahigwa thought it was a good idea, then it had to be a good idea! Plus if anything happened then there was Yaholo to take care of her! Right? She snuggled up to Tahigwa, and although she had enjoyed this little adventure they had it was time for her to start heading home. Plus, she knew that Luljeta most likely wanted some alone time with her children. And she had so much to tell Briella when she got home!
"Well I got to go back home now, I'm glad your all better Luljeta! Soon I'll have my new mommy come and met you!" she said before hugging everyone, squeezing Tahigwa a little harder then the others.
