Within five seconds, Sassy officially had the best day ever. He trilled happily and pushed into C'tis' hand. Rochelle liked this one and so did he, especially when scritches were involved. He felt Rochelle roll her eyes at his smug sense of satisfaction that he got a 'good boy' an pets and she never did. Ha ha. The blue firelizard took C'tis' large hand in his foreclaws and nibbled at one of his knuckles cheerfully.
"I think my firelizard has a crush on you. Sassy, stop being so flirty," Rochelle tossed a card at him, missing by far too much. She rolled her eyes for real this time and settled back, peering at her cards. "No letter from Kleos yet. I think we're safe."

The last of C'tis' bad mood gave up and slunk off in the face of the adorable firelizard; he grinned and scratched the blue between his wings, allowing the nibbling of his knuckle without complaint. "Well it's no wonder if he does, I am amazing after all," he replied with a snort, stopping his scratches in order to recover the thrown card and pick up his hand. "Guess we must be," he added, "she's probably too much of a prude to even want to think about interfering. Works fine for us though!" If the wingleader was cross with them they could deal with it tomorrow.
"Err... so what're we playing?"
