Fluffy yawned, but was obviously still boycotting. He at least bothered to get to his feet though. Maybe he'd help... a little soon. [We didn't finish the one back on the mountain.]

Though Luk had not been entirely sure that the leaf would help, he looked pleased enough with himself for it to seem like that had been the plan all along. Ego aside, he really was happy that Muk felt at least a little better. They'd just have to be more careful when they tried to get food next time.
Speaking of food, his tummy was still very hungry, but Muk seemed more concerned about checking for ouches on him for the moment. He giggled when the other goblin lifted his arms and nodded so fast that the world went blurry for a second.
'All good! Still hungry, though. Invisible food only not terrible for taste, but the tummy... He shook his head in the same way someone might when delivering very bad news. 'Maybe food there?
More put-together walls! Muk wanted to tear it apart, and he did too - food would be an excellent bonus, though. This time he tugged the other along, excitedly approaching the building. As soon as they were close enough to reach out and touch it, he tried to rip off a piece, hoping that it would go all crumbly like the last one did.

Muk followed Luk, worried about the purple goblin’s poor little tummy. His was particularly rumbly, but that could be ignored in lieu of his concern for this friend. He squeezed Luk’s hand as he found himself pulled along, and he trotted after the other goblin. ‘Good plan Lukky, feed you soon.’
But he wasn’t quite as ferocious in beginning his attack this time, and he noticed with dismay that the wall Luk chose to attack wasn’t crumbling correctly. How dare that wall not fall! Didn’t it know who they were! Muk scowled, reaching over Luk to scratch angrily at the wall. ‘Fall down! Fall down! We hungry! Rip to shreds!’

Nadya got maybe three seconds to respond before the lab tech grabbed her arm and all but yanked her inside as she ran.
Kiera busted her way through the building door with a heavy huff and puff, remembering last second to kick it closed once she was sure Nadya was good and safe; the woman was practically leaning against it as she made sure it was secured before standing straight again and taking in her surroundings.
Shite, she knew some of the monsters there. Normally she'd almost consider just trying to reason them out and hope memories of the past might make them sentimental. And then she saw the gun Nadya had, and how bent Lydia looked, and decided ******** reasoning.
Wiping sweat off her brow, she panted a, "Lovely day for hell, huh?" at the handler before dragging herself and her makeshift shield within. "Lydia, Tooley, thank God. Jesus, you're fast." She dumped the shield and snatched the keys to a four wheeler as she caught her breath. "How're you all holding up? This place won't last long, so I hope you got the essentials."

Lydia's eyes snapped up towards Tooly when she arrived on the scene, letting out a small gasp of surprise.
"You made it!" It was impossible to hide the relief in her voice, or stop the tears that sprung to the corners of her eyes. At the mention of the others, however. "No, no...I haven't seen any of them. I...I ran as soon as the other creatures approached us." She visibly winced as she said this, unconsciously wiggling her toes inside the new pair of shoes she donned, her hiking boots having been tossed to the side.
She shifted the ice pack off of her leg, lifting it off of the ground a couple of times. "I feel a little bit better." She sighed, then winced for a second time when the noises began outside, the sounds of gun shots permeating the air, the walls of the building shaking with impact.
"Shiiiit...." This was not going to remain a safe place much longer.
Luckily, at that very moment, another familiar face arrived. "Kiera! I...I guess I could move when I really needed to, yes." She smiled a wan, tight smile, then winced again at another impact.
Eyeing the keys, Lydia grabbed another set hanging next to them for another four wheeler, and shook them in her direction. "Please tell me we can get the ******** out of here with this."
This was the first time in Lydia's life she had ever swore. It seemed only appropriate given the sitiuation.

Tavast roared and took out another chunk of the buidling with his claws, trying to get at the people within. The number was growing - so soon he'd have a chance to feast.

This didn't feel the same as the first set of put-together walls at all! They weren't giving Luk that feeling that all things were going right - in fact, it felt a whole lot like everything was going wrong. Everything going wrong probably meant not getting food, and they just couldn't have that.
'It's bad at listening!' Grumbling, he tried to put a little more effort into his tearing up the wall.
All of his annoyance at the wall was hindering his ability to properly tear things. Truly tragic. He stepped back and stomped his feet. Why wouldn't it come apart?

There was a low huff as the beast sat to watch the building again. Sure there were a lot of humans inside, but none of them the one he wanted. No he wanted to hurt a few specific ones, but not these.
In truth he was getting bored of it. Attacking the person earlier seemed to help with than thirst for something too, so... while he wanted more. He wasn't interested in the buildings food. No, he had something else he wanted. A low grumble of a growl escaped the canine as he turned, intending to move off.
Even if they got in there wouldn't be much to go around. There had to be something more interesting in the fields.

"Bollocks." Cursing didn't really help, but it made her feel better. Kiera did turn a bit softer when she was hit with the realization that, for all they knew, they were the only humans left alive. And that made her infinitely grateful that they had no sort of zombie species out there. Zombies on top of dragons and werewolves and other affronts to God would have probably just teared it. In a weird way, knowing Lydia, who had been banged up all sorts from the spider and the walk over, was still alive was giving her a strange sense of hope that maybe they could outlive this plague of creatures if nightmares.
Running a hand through her hair, she took a deep breath and calculated their chances on where to go next. Grabbing the second set of keys, she tossed them to Tooley. "I'll take Lydia here. Mermaid group, my responsibility," Kiera stated as a matter of factly. "I'll make sure she gets to the next drop stat." Grabbing her piece of door, something she was slowly beginning to think was a good luck charm, she muttered in Tooley's ear their next destination--who knew how much the monsters could hear and understand at this point?-- and added, "Luck to ya, mate."
Then she turned to the injured woman with a half-smile. "Stuck with me, missy. Don't kick up a fuss, alright?" She offered a hand to help her along towards one of the 4 wheelers, making sure she was secure before hopping into the driver's seat and starting it up. "Make sure that ice pack's pressed nice and tight," Kiera added, sticking the makeshift shield in the space between them. "And whatever you do, don't let go."
Thankful for the full tank and pre-planning for emergencies, the lab tech swallowed her growing fear and, in a sudden burst of speed, drove them the hell out on the clearest path available. She hoped the rush of adrenaline going through her would give her the clarity to get them to safety.

Adam saw a pair of familiar faces and ran towards them like he was in a desert and they were an oasis. He laughed hysterically. "Heeheehoohaw!" Then, he said, "Lydia! Kiera! You're alive!"
He had mixed feelings about their departure. On the one hand, he'd've liked to talk to them before they left. On the other, it meant they were going some place safer. Hopefully, some place where they'd stay alive.
He wondered what happened to the rest of them. He knew he saw Wayra and Chris in the sewers, but they had gone the other way when they came to the forked path there.
Tooly's eyes widened as she caught the keys, and they widened further when Kiera whispered their next destination whispered in her ear. She had no problem with that. The sounds outside were the SUV back in the mountains all over again. The creatures hadn't yet caused the building to fall it, but they hadn't stopped trying either.
"You two, too!" she replied, and then shot the trainer lady in the kevlar an 'You coming?' look, while she found the vehicle her keys belonged to. Tooly wasn't going to wait for long, though. There were other vehicles, and she didn't want to lose Kiera and Lydia. She spared a thought for Dorian, hoping he was okay, and then gunned the ignition, praying they were going to a safer place.
Somehow, she doubted it.

Human attacked Loafe hardly. When he do that, he think he would be a winner and the human would be a weeper but he was wrong. Human was not easy to attack, as the way they ruled them. It became clear.

So it seemed that Lydia was still considered to be a mermaid under Kiera's charge. Fine with her, really, since the other woman had proven to be a fairly tough nut. She had to admire that kind of tenacity, and the way she insisted on trying to keep Lydia alive, despite all odds being against them at that point.
"Thank you." She gave the woman a thankful look, before hobbling after her towards the four wheeler, ice pack shifting and pressing against various areas of skin that were inflamed and swollen. "No energy left for a fuss, I'm afraid...Until the next time I might need to run, at least." She gave a soft laugh that ended in a snort, and sighed.
"Out of the frying pan, and back into the nightmare." She said, turning to give the others one last small nod. "See you soon."
hoisting herself up into the passenger seat, Lydia did just what her commander and leader said, and held on for what little dear life she had left. ((Sorry guys this is a crap post because I'm super tired and going to bed)) ((EXIT WITH MEDI))
