"Bad at what?" Harrison asked, swinging by with a grin at Dakota and claiming an empty chair. He didn't recognize the music, but who the hell cared. There were some new faces around, and others he recognized.
"...Heard there was some free booze."
Good booze, bad booze, didn't matter to him.
"What's the occasion?"

"I'm not discussing that in front of a room of people, Rep." Candace took a swig of her drink. Last time she had said not to talk about it he'd gotten all touchy and offended.
Annnnd then Harrison walked in.
"Bad at everything, Harrison. Everything."

Harrison's timing could not have been better. Just when he was looking for someone to fence the ring he'd found off on, the moon hunter showed up. He didn't so much sidle as insinuated himself over by him. "I think the occasion is just Dakota trying to get laid." But who was complaining really? Booze was booze.
Candace still got shot a look and a nasal whine. "That makes it sound like I was really ******** bad. I wisnae." He slumped his chin on the table next to Harrison, sliding his hand down to take Harrison's briefly and if he got away with it, to palm off the ring on him.
Under his breath he said. "You always had it."

Dakota looked up as Rep vacated the seat and it seemingly filled with Harrison. Out of Habit, he clapped the other moon hunter on the back and produced a glass for the man. What was in it was probably a mix of alcohol, some slight mixer and more alcohol.
Because Dakota wasn't a bartender. He was a underage hunter with a lot of booze.
"Yeah man. I thought I shared the stockpile I worked on since Marcus's bachelor party." He grinned, "Help yourself. We got a new moon in here too so if you wanna introduce yourself, he's heard about you from Rep, just can't put a face with the name." Dakota blinked and smiled.
"The occasion is another day still alive after a pretty shitty mission. But really I just wanted to drink and have company to do so.' He kept on grinning. The more people to share with, the merrier.

Nevada smiled up at Candace as she joined them and held out her hand, waving it palm up from Tuck to the Mist huntress.
"Candace this is Tuck, Moon hunter. Tuck this is Candace, Mist hunter. He's a handsome one Miss Candace..." She winked at the other mist and slipped away from the counter. It was a good thing Candace came over to distract Tuck. Dimples and all.
Instead she went over to Rep and smiled at the hunter. "Hey there Handsome. Enjoying yourself?" there was no malice, just a simple question.

His whine got an annoyed look from Candace, she held a finger up for Nevada and Tuck to wait a moment, she even placed her glass down beside them. She would come back for it. She then turned and returned to Rep's side with a strained smile, putting a hand on his shoulder. "It was great. If I could I would do it again. It wisnae bad." There, happy? She gave the man a pat and then walked away again, sighing quietly and combing her fingers through her hair as she returned to Nevada and Tuck.
"Sorry about that. Sometimes he whines more than a little girl." But now she wanted to meet this man. Tuck? Candace gave him a warm smile and held her hand out in offering to shake. "Very handsome, it's a pleasure to meet you, Tuck."

Mimsy thoughtfully eyed the drink in Lucky's hand, wondering if she really should or not. All of the other things she had first experienced on the island had been...unpleasant, to say the least, but there was potential that this wouldn't be so bad.
"Oh, sure," she conceded, reaching to take the cup. "It can't hurt to try, after all."
She tilted the cup up and took a very generous sip.
And knew that she had been extraordinarily incorrect.

Harrison palmed the ring no problem, slipping it on opposite the engagement band.
He meant to mutter 'Got it,' but it came out in a conspiratorial, "You just gave it to me."
Harrison seemed momentarily confused. He opened his mouth, then closed it. The drink came as a grateful distraction.
"Thanks, Dakota. Hope you get laid tonight, you're doing a good thing here. Like running a ******** charity. Eligible folks ought to get in line." Harrison took a sip. "Wow, that's s**t." He immediately took another one.
Nevada and Dakota were both introducing Tuck, who was, "Not bad-looking. Doesn't hurt in this division. Marcus and Dakota and me got a Moon Boy Band going, mostly I guess it's an excuse to watch Dakota shake his a**, because he is ******** talented. Not that I want to ******** him. Just watch sometimes. ...I feel like I'm oversharing here."
Harrison regarded his glass suspiciously.
"What the hell's in this drink."

Candace got a very grateful grin and Rep puffed up confidently, looking massively smug.
He had been about to say something else. He had. It had been on the tip of his tongue.
But when Harrison started talking he completely forgot what it was.
It wasn't every day Rep looked scandalised. But right now was one of those times.

Jerry had been practicing quietly in his room when the sound of a growing amount of voices down the hall finally piqued his attention. He tucked his clipboard under one arm, and his ukulele under the other- one never knew. A large group of people could mean many things.
Investigation proved that it was Dakota's room... a party? Suddenly, he grew worried about crashing a private get together but- wait, that was Candace's voice. And Harrison's and Rep's! Surely they wouldn't be too upset if he just... said hi?
He knocked on the door frame as he peered inside curiously, "Ah... hey? Is this a party?"

Dakota cheered the other moon hunter, blinking. "Well, there is always hope that I will get laid at night..." He grinned.
"yeah drinks aren't my strong point. And yeah, I forgot to mention Moon'Sync." Dakota face actually fell for a second because, they hadn't done it in awhile but then Harrison was like Dakota shaking a** and him watching...
Awkward~
But it's cool bro.
Oh didn't want to do him but wanted to watch him too...okay that's cool too.

As Mimsy recovered from what could only be described as tasting liquid gasoline that had already been set aflame, she caught what Harrison was saying midway through.
And it was an alarming set of sentences.
She stared blankly at him, then glanced to Dakota, trying to think past the slight dizziness that was setting in.
"...what? Is that what is happening here?" Aghast, she stared expectantly at Dakota and waited for an answer. She had to know how quickly she needed to get out of here, depending on his response.

Did..
Did Harrison just...
Candace just stared at Harrison in shock, her jaw dropped. Usually Harrison was so gruff and stoic and kind of quiet and he wasn't just...a chatter.
"Ah..hey, Jerry.." She blinked. "A..are you okay, Harrison?"

Dakota looked at Mimsy and shrugged...
"Alcohol always leads to inherent truths?"

Harrison had the decency to be embarrassed.
"No. I'm kind of confused. Instead of okay. I think uh, the drink may be getting to me...? Or something? I only had a few sips, I'm not a heavy-weight or anything but I can usually handle more than that."
He started to apologize, but Jerry popped his head in the door.
"...Jerry you are a dumb s**t. There's music, and the lights are going, and people got drinks. Yeah, it's a party. Just come inside and drink something. You can cry about it later."
He winced.
"That was mean. I don't want you to cry, Jerry. You're just going to end up doing it probably."

Okay Dakota had NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON.
But this was pretty goddamn amusing. He sipped his alcohol more.
