He considered it a moment. "Tired. Stupid for not stopping the fight.Sore." He glanced around before looking up at her. "Uncomfortable." This place pressed on him. It was usually comforting when he worked here, but being stuck here was another thing. Being stuck here overnight was much worse.
He shrugged as best he could and smiled. "What I expect I should feel being stuck here." He looked back at the backpack in his lap. "But better than a few minutes ago."

Rin smiled more genuinely, "Well, at least you feel better. Just let me know if you start to feel dirty."

It had been clear from the widening eyes that Melvin hadn't thought of someone else coming into his room to clean him up and he glanced at the bathroom door and back to her. "I forgot." He said, almost as a whisper. He had been thinking hard on how to wobble himself to the bathroom and clean himself.
The idea of anyone else came with mix feelings, but at Rin's offer, he was presented with an opportunity. "If you were going to give me a sponge bath, you should have left out the magazines." No point when you had the real thing.

"Againnn~ Those magazines are simply part of the 'infirmary' collection. They aren't a conspiracy." She was about to laugh at him again when it suddenly dawned on her what he was driving at, "Terrible. You are just terrible."

Melvin smiled at being called terrible. "No worse than you." Then he looked alarmed. "Wait. Infirmary collection? Do OTHER people use those magazines?!" He was NOT touching magazines strangers had touched while touching themselves.
