Obediently, but obviously very uncomfortable, Iafri retrieved a second satchel, then scurried back to be near her dragon again. To be near safety. She would have huddled right up against her, if Girofleth would have allowed it, but they needed to maintain some distance for this. It would cheating if Girofleth saw the actual picture, after all!
Open it, then, the green said calmly, closing her eyes and making another thrumming sound.

Once again, Iafri stared and stared at the drawing, but this time, there was no recognition. She had absolutely no idea what she was looking at! She'd paid attention in lessons, she really had, but...but there were so many places they wanted her to remember, places she'd never been or seen in her life, places on maps she was only just learning to read.
"I don't know what it is," she said despairingly, dropping the paper to bury her head in her hands. "I just don't know!"
Be easy, myIafri, Girofleth crooned, attempting to soothe her rider. Even if you don't know where it is, I'm sure we could still get there. That is the most important thing, is it not? Send it to me, please.
Once more, the transmitted image was too fuzzy to be of use, and this time, Girofleth didn't do very well sending it to the Weyrlingmaster's dragon, either. Her rider's distress was unsettling her. Aerith, I...believe we will need further lessons, if Yours is able. May we go, for now? Mine is rather upset.

Jr. Weyrlings: T'lon and Poth
T'lon had dutifully shown up for the lesson, and Poth had initially padded along beside him calmly enough. But that changed the instant she smelled meat.
Food? T'lon, does this lesson mean we get to eat? I like it already? she eagerly told her rider, craning her neck to try and spot the tasty morsels.
I don't know, we have to wait and see what the Weyrlingmaster says. Shush, he added as Mercy began to explain the lesson.
It was simple enough, and he figured he had the basics of it already from feeding Echo, but it didn't hurt to make sure he was doing it right. He didn't want to hurt Poth, after all. He collected his bowl of meat and, despite the pleading eyes of his young dragon, set to work sorting.
That didn't stop her from pestering him, though. Are you done yet? Can I eat them? You're not giving Echo any, are you? If he gets some I want some. The young green fidgeted and twined around his ankles like a begging feline as she tried to peer up at T'lon.
He was quite deliberately not making eye contact with her. He had the suspicion he might be tempted to slip her a piece if he did. Echo's not getting anything, and he isn't asking. Look, he's staying still. And indeed, the little brown flit had taken his customary perch on T'lon's shoulder, and while he was watching the sorting, he didn't so much as peep for a tidbit. Besides, the more you pester me, the longer this will take, he continued.
With his dragon's interference, the task took longer than he would like, but eventually he figured he'd found all the good meat and brought it to the Weyrlingmaster for inspection. Only to find that, while his work was acceptable, he'd missed several pieces that, in hindsight, seemed obvious. He ducked his head, embarrassed, and considered trying again to prove that he could do it right.

Sr. Weyrlings: Cai and Miath
It was interesting, having both classes of Weyrlings together, but Cai felt it was probably just going to be distracting for both sets. The younger group would be watching them, while they in turn (or at least she) was watching the younger dragons.
Cai opened her satchel and pulled out the draw she was supposed to memorize. Would it work with only a drawing or was this purely for the exercise? Cai's lips pursed as she examined the image, her eyes flicking over the page. She knew she'd seen this one before, it was familiar enough by sight. It didn't matter how realistic the drawing was, it was still a drawing. From what Cai understood a dragon needed to see the actual place before it could get there. Seeing a drawing, wasn't exactly see the place. Even before the lesson started Cai was having a hard time wrapping her brain around it.
It is a pretty place. Miath slipped her head over Cai's shoulder, just barely resting her large chin on the redhead. Cai leaned her head on Miath and stroked her soft neck.
I suppose.
(( OOC: Cai would like to note that Miath needs a penalty to all of her rolls because she has a HORRIBLE memory. -_-

Naree Jr. Weyrlings Kh'men and Maicoth ((rolling for oiling)) ((Wrong dice... derp...)) Kh'men. I itch. I itch now. Behind my wings and down my legs. Maicoth hissed and swatted at his rider's leg. You need to oil me now."Knock it off. I am getting the oil now." He muttered and reached for the oil and brush. He began to rub the oil into his dragon's skin, trying to find any dry or cracked patches. It's is not working! Rub harder with the brush! Maicoth gave something close to a yowl.

Sr. Weyrling Ahmenna and Phiroth
Come! I want to fly. This will be good, we will go many places. Phiroth warbled to Ahmenna who was checking over straps, leathers and any thing else that could be checked over. She was one for procedure and protocol.
When they got to class, Mercy handed the greenrider a rolled up scroll. Any curiosity she had was contained as the techniques of flight and going Between were discussed. Finally, the chance came to open her scroll.
Healer Hall.

Jr. Weyrling rolling for meat.
_______________
R'an noticed more weyrlings coming out to start working and he glanced down at Syriacuth who was busy chomping on the good meat pieces that R'an pulled out. It seemed he liked to eat twice as much, but maybe R'an only thought that since Syria seemed abit more muscular than the other dragonets. He continued to fish through the meat. 'Mine, will you rub between my wings? I'm itchy.' Syriacuth's shoulders shook and he sat back trying to scratch at his body with a hind leg almost like a dog.
'Sure just gimme a minute to grab the oil.' R'an replied as he cleaned off his hands.

Sr. Weyrlings: Cai and Miath
Shaff. The image was of one of Trine's holds... maybe Malvren's... Cai had never been there, never seen them, and barely cared to know their names. Had it been a Hall, or a hold of Benden's she would have known it for sure.
Arcon sounded right. It was probably Arcon Hold

Sr. Weyrlings: Cai and Miath
Miath watched and waited until Cai felt she was ready. Cai stepped out from underneath her crimson and folded the paper, hiding the image of the unknown Hold. "Pay attention Miath." Her grey eyes stared firmly at the whirling greens of her dragon and after a moment of distraction, Cai attempted to reform the drawing in her memory. "Do you see it?"
Miath thrummed and bumped her forehead with Cai's. I can see it. It's not as pretty as the one in your hand.
Don't be smart with me Miath. Cai pushed the crimson's head away, giving her eyeridges a scratch as she did so.

Sr. Weyrlings: Cai and Miath
I am hungry, will we eat after this? Miath pushed her head back at Cai, nudging her chest. She could smell the meat the younger dragonets were eating and her eyes shifted towards it longingly.
Yes, fine. Do you still have that image? You need to send it to Aerith.
Hmm? Oh. Alright. Hello Aerith! Mine and I are ready! Miath turned to face the white dragon where she lay and sent a flash of what she had seen. There was a cheerful, almost chirping noise as she did so, happy to complete their task so they could leave and eat.
Let me see what you sent her. Cai blinked in shock as a tannish blur invaded her mind. Miath... That's terrible.
Can we still go eat?

Sr. Weyrling Ahmenna and Phiroth
+2 to 1d10 = 8 2d10 = 10 (You an artist or something? That pictures better then the drawing we gave you! ) Last score 10+7= 17/20 (PASS!)
No one could say that Ahmenna and Phiroth were slackers. After being given their scroll that she had studied and looked over, she noticed a few familiar points. Showing it to Phiroth, the girl gave a smile. "I know this place. I don't think I have been there but this is Healer Hall." She studied the paper again, and nodded. "Yes, Healer Hall."
The green regarded the paper. Easy enough. Let's get to it. What do we do next?
((still typing))
"Now, you have to tell Aerith we know where we are going. She has to give you the information and you have to give it to me. And hopefully, we will get there in one piece." Ahmenna frowned and looked over to the Weyrling Master and her dragon. The entire class was busy, some in groups and some working in singles. She could make out her cousin.. Kh'men and his dragon now covered in oil and glaring at each other.

I'saak - Meat
This seemed...busy. That was the first thing I'saak thought, reaching down and resting his head protectively on Ellibreth as they walked over to the Weyrlingmaster. Two groups at once seemed like it was going to be much too hard for anyone to pay attention to anything. But I'saak wanted to do well, and as he got his instructions and picked up the supplies he would need, he did his best to ignore the elder weyrlings. It wasn't his business what they were doing, even if he found himself glancing over at them time and time again. It wasn't easy to keep his attention on the bucket, particularly since sorting through slab after slab of raw meat wasn't exactly fun. His attention focused instead on the elder dragons, their straps, their work.
Dragonriders made their own straps, he knew that. He wondered what kinds of tools would be needed to start experimenting with that. An awl, probably. And a leather punch. Things he could get easily. Then he'd be able to practice...
I'saak, Ellibreth said delicately, sniffing the bucket thoughtfully and then nudging her rider. I'm not sure I can eat these.
"Hmm? Oh - Faranth, sorry Ell." I'saak cast his glance down again, dipping back into the bucket and squaring his shoulders with embarrassment. Why were there strips of hide in the bucket? And why did they think that having combined lessons with the juniors and seniors together was a good idea? Sighing quietly to himself, he began to pick through the pieces again, focusing entirely on the meat this time.

C'ross - Oiling
Oh hey, there was I'saak! C'ross brightened as he turned away from the weyrlingmaster (with a grade of "passable, but not great") and headed back towards the junior weyrling class.
He sat down next to his friend, letting Nimith finally chow down on the meat. The blue tore into the chunks that C'ross hand-fed him with enthusiasm, bloody muzzle nuzzling against his rider's arm whenever the pace slowed.
"Hey, I'saak. Having trouble with the meat?" C'ross inquired, watching the greenrider and his dragon interact curiously. Unfortunately, distracted as he was, he failed to realize that his oiling wasn't so much helping as... mixing oil with the blood now on Nimith's hide from the feeding. Oops. He was going to have to do that again.

I'saak - Meat reroll
"C'ross!" I'saak's head snapped up from the bucket, attention once again focusing on something that had nothing to do with the meat he was trying to pick through. But C'ross had greeted him first. I'saak lifted his hand, a piece of meat in it, and waved to the young man as he came over. Gently, he shooed Ellibreth's head out of the bucket. "I...maybe." He shrugged, a little sheepishly. "I guess I'm not doing too good of a job at this. It's...it shouldn't be this hard, but."
I'saak...I'm still not sure I can eat this, Ellibreth said, eyes whirling disappointment at her rider. I'saak looked down at the bucket again, eyes wide with the realization that he wasn't focusing at all.
"Shards," he murmured, and with a heavy sigh, he started picking through it again. "I'm just...finding it really hard to focus today, I guess."
