"You haven't seen dirty..."He held up his word in a reversed grip in front of his face, using it like a shield of sorts do to it's width. Lloyd wasn't expecting her to whack him with her spear of all things. It the berserk stake he was in, it didn't bring him to flinch much, it only made him angrier by default. He powered through her attack, going straight for her shield once more. He bashed it with his sword, even booted it a couple of times. Before the blood lust took over, his fighting style was of brute strength, yet refinement in technique. Now, it was everywhere, without a technique, only what would hurt the most, or the most violent. With his last strike, he headbutted the shield.

(Lol, you know you're berserk when headbutting a shield seems like a good idea. xd ) Lilitch winced as her shield arm bore the repetitive brunt of the blood knight's assault. While before his attacks had a sense of reason, a style to them, his attacks now were just wild and all over the place. Struggling to keep her shield between herself and the knight's blade, Lilith took advantage of his random headbutt and bashed him in the face with her shield as he rebounded. With any luck she'd break his nose and hopefully impair his breathing. (I'll have her shield or her arm break under the next assault so she has to use more of her paladin abilities to keep going.)

(((lol blame my videogames, where a character having the strongest weapon he can gain is nothing compared to having his headbutt technique maxed out to the strongest.)))
Unfortunately, Lilith would not be so lucky. Sure his head was bleeding now, but that only brought him to hysterical laughter. He loved it, the pain, seeing blood run. Even his own, this is what he lived for!
Leon stepped forward, using his sword to brace himself as he booted the shield once more.

(Lol I was thinking that even before you told me to think that. =P)
Unprepared for the unorthodox attack, the blood knight's kick connected with her shield right as it was out of alignment. The force of the impact breaking Lilith's arm right above the elbow.
Yelping in pain as her arm fractured Lilith backed off, her shield arm hanging limp at her side but still covering a great deal of her body with its bulk. Her eyes blazing with holy energy, Lilith voiced her anger with a roar that would have put a lion to shame. Matching his berserker fury with holy fervor, Lilith lunged and stabbed away at the knight.

(((I was hoping the shield would break, lol.))) Sword and Spear clashed with each other as the two attacked each other. Rage and Fervor warred for dominance in this fight. Lloyd began to see her for something more, Lilith was different from the others he had faced. This woman, her power, her resolve. Even when injured it did not waver, he saw it in her eyes. What was it he was feeling for her? "You're injured, stand down woman!" He said through his unrestricted rage.

(Figured it was more likely for her arm to break before the shield would.) "Why would that matter? We're trying to kill each other!" Lilith replied, redoubling her efforts to break through the knights defenses.

"You're a worthy opponent. You have more than shown me why it is you fight. I am giving you another chance to walk away now with your life! I suggest you take it!" He pushed her away from him. If she refused once more, then perhaps her life could not be spared. A shame to kill such an attractive woman. Most female warriors lost almost all their femininity, not Lilith.

Lilith took advantage of their separation to catch her breath and take account of the situation at hand. Her shield arm hung limp at her side and was sending pulsing waves of pain through her neck and shoulder but other than that minor cuts and bruises were her only other injuries. Despite this, she was flagging and knew she couldn't hold out much longer. The blood knight on the other hand, despite the injuries she'd inflicted on him, looked no worse for wear and looked like he could keep this up for hours. Although she knew it would be shameful in the eyes of her god, Lilith lowered her weapon slightly. "So what now? Call it a draw and go our separate ways?"

Lloyd knelt on the ground and braced himself with his sword once more, trying to control every fiber of himself, the blood lust from disagreeing with his decision to spare her life. He clutched his face, the voices could not be so easily ignored. He slowly nodded his head. "Yes Lilith, you may continue on your way. May the next time we fight, you are much stronger than now. Perhaps you will be the paladin dog to finish me." He said in a strained voice. The Blood Knight may not be physically fatigued as he appeared, but surely mentally with the eternal struggle.

Despite being at each others throats mere seconds ago, Lilith pitied the man. While he had fallen a long way from the purity of knighthood, he still retained some sense of honor. "Hardly seems fitting to part like this..." Lilith comments, sheathing her spear across her back and unbuckling her shield from her arm so she could see to the injury with a healing spell. Muttering a prayer under her breath, Lilith's arm quickly pulled itself back together and mended any unseen internal damage.

Do you believe one can be born cursed to a destiny they cannot control?""Lilith!"Another knight of Lilith's order rode by, his name was Keith. He was assigned to pick her up after she did not show up. They heard rumors of the bloodknight in the area so he was relieved to know she was still alive. "Looks like I got here just in time. The order has been waiting for you, Lilith." He quickly dismounted and unsheathed his broadsword, preparing to aid Lilith in battle. Little did he know that she was not in any danger.

"No, I believe everybody has potential to change their destiny, weather it be written or not." Lilith answered knowing that to be the truth in her heart, "Now if you would be so kind, play dead so I can get this young blood away with ease." Turning to face Keith, Lilith found the youth about to pitch himself face first in the mud in such a haste to dismount he was. Steadying him with her good arm, Lilith smiled. "You missed all the fun." she said, snatching up the reins and vaulting onto the waiting horse. Once firmly seated in the saddle she offered the wide-eyed Keith her hand and pulled him back onto the horse.

"Play, dead?" Lloyd was confused, but only briefly. He dropped to the ground rather convincingly. She chose her fate the moment she asked him to do this. Keith took Lilith's hand and remounted his horse. Immediately, they rode off back into town. "I can't believe you took down the Blood Knight! Served him right, he couldn't challenge Lumina's Paladins forever. Just wait until the order hears this!"--- "This is where the first entry ends, Roxanne." Said Eric, staring at the contents of the book. "I'm not sure if I learned much just yet. This is all so confusing for me."

(Sounds like Lilith will be having a midnight visitor... ninja ) "Sorta odd spot to break from the story." Roxanne replies, opening her eyes to inspect the blank paged book in Eric's lap. "Its written like a journal or diary, perhaps they skipped a few pages by accident?" Taking the book from him, Roxanne placed it atop her belly and began to slowly thumb through the pages hoping something would appear to her or at least Eric. "And the beginnings of most books tend to be confusing, you just gotta keep reading till your mind is well grounded in it."

The book was self aware of Roxanne handling it. She was with Eric, so it with a bright flash, it granted her access to read it's contents for the time being. Had Eric moved away, it would no longer permit her access.
Eric had moved the book off her belly after she seemed to close her eyes as he read to her. "Who knows, maybe I'm not allowed to read everything." Taking her soft pale hand, he stopped her from flipping through pages. "There looks to be something written here. Seems like the met up again, perhaps go back a bit, should start from somewhere..."

Indeed the did find each other again. Lilith would soon have Lloyd's words haunt her. Ever since it she "defeated" him, she couldn't catch a break with someone trying to kill her. Without someone to fight, Lloyd's blood lust increased in hunger, it did give him some time to think on her words.

He decided to find her, wasn't hard to get information when now people believed you to be a ghost...
