Not looking a gift Azerin in the mouth Garth sidestepped and lashed out with a kick it had a lot of power but little accuracy. “Pity you never bothered to learn not to mock your betters!” Gath might be a low member of the Six’s ranks but he was not about to loose to this unknown fool. Besides the rush of the fight was so enjoyable.

Aldea watched the pair uncertain if this was normal or if the words they were saying to one another was affecting them.. or could they be testing one another finding out their opponents skill set?

The strike made pain shoot up Garth’s legs and the amount of pain that he was experancing was enough that he twisted and lashed out with a back hoof trying to catch Itzal while covering his own fall. He didn’t speak but let out a battle cry instead fueled by anger and the desire to put this other male to an early grave.


Aldea watching Itzal dodge and strike back amazed. The light seemed to flow around his form but then the other male's attack struck Iztal back and she winced knowing he must have felt the blow.

Having time to get up on his legs while Itzal was recoving from the strike Garth was able to doge Itzal’s next attack and tried to use his front hooves to shove Itzal off balance. It wasn’t a strong attack but it should by him more time to recover and find his next move.

Aldea moved a little closer to combat seeing Itzal hurt. Letting the nameless male win would be bad for her. She wasn’t close enough to intervene yet not feeling comfortable in attacking.

Keeping his distance as the male attacked Garth saw his chance. Now he could strike back at his adversary and crush him while the other male blinded! Laughing he attacked with hooves and teeth.

Aldea could see Itzal was in trouble and screamed out in shock.

Garth heard the mare’s screams and it made his second attack much weaker than the first, but what did it mater the victory was his regardless. He barely glanced at the mare while he looked down at his victim. “I did say know your betters ‘Itzy’ Pity you never once listened.” Garth puffed his chest up. He was going to be the one to defeat and earn a place in the Six it was only a matter of time. He considered a long speech but he had his point now he just needed to crush Itzal’s legs. He reared up ready to smash the bones in Itzal’s legs. “This will teach you, you..” The rest of what Garth was going to say was lost when a full grown Azerin body collided with his own sending him flying sideways to land painfully on his side. There was someone above him striking at him. He saw flashes of pink and couldn’t think of what it was until a hoof connected with his ribs. The mare! The wench was defending Itzal.

Seeing the only stallion that had ever fought for her laying on the ground bleeding going to most likely be killed was shocking. Aldea didn’t even realize when her body started moving. She had leapt at the unknown male at full charge using all her weight to get him away from Iztal. Then she started to kick and gouge at him until her mind caught up with her actions. She stopped breathing hard over Garth not sure what to expect when from under her hooves he pushed up surprising her and making her fall back. Dancing back to Itzal’s side she glared at Garth ready to fight. The male clearly decided he didn’t want to fight in his current condition because he took off after yelling a curse at her and swearing her life was forfeit. She could have chased him and finished him but then what would happen to Itzal. She turned and looked at him. He looked like crap. “Hey. You ok?”

Been through worse? He looked like a mess already worse would be dead. “First time rescuing anyone so I’d hope the hit was good, or else my father would be pretty disappointed.” She rolled her eyes. She stood near watching him get back up. She shifted her weight feeling a bit unease. “you know you didn’t have to follow. I could have flown and been fine.” She winced watching him move. “Should you be getting up?” Her voice held a note of concern that was foreign to its normal range.

“Well your foster father was a jerk like that guy.” She was surprised by the emotions in his eyes. He had been so distant before. It was like there was another world inside of him and Aldea had access to it. He fought for her. The image of him being beaten bloody to defend her was etched into her eye lids and she couldn’t blink without seeing it. “Well I am and he did, but now he’s gone and we need to find you somewhere to lay down or you really will die and I’ll be annoyed.” She moved beside him and placed a wing on him. “Use me for support or rest your head. We’ll go at your pace.”
