........."Oh yes." Gossamer replied, looking back over at the tower. "If my building was relocated, it's safe to say some of his other places of business have been as well. We'll do a little better if we catch him before his mood goes through the floor." she said, then turned back towards Joker. "So... it's quite a long walk from here. How would you prefer we get there? Borrow a car, take a taxi, roof hopping?"

.........Gossamer paused a moment and glanced down at Joker's arm. The thought again crossed her mind that this man wasn't her type physically, but...she couldn't help but let her curiosity eat at her. Some near death experiences, no problem with killing, and he seemed as though he knew how to have a good time. This could be fun.

So, with a little smile, she stepped forwards and wrapped one of her own arms around his. "Of course. Although, I rarely see ice cream trucks in New York, so we might want to save that ride for another day." she replied.

...Gossamer paused a moment and looked down at the man as well. After a few seconds of thought, she grinned. ”If I can manage to do the spell correctly, I can do you one better.” she said, then let go of his arm. She turned around, and walked over to the body before kneeling down next to it.

”I found a spell...” she began. ”That is supposed to change the properties of liquids from one type to another. I haven't quite mastered infusing one substance into another, so I'm not sure I'd get his shirt soaked with gasoline. But... I might be able to turn his blood, or at least that which I can see, into gasoline.” she said, then dipped her fingers down into the blood that was still pooled on the ground. She held it up, then looked over to Joker and grinned. ”I've tried turning someone's blood into acid once before... messing with their blood killed them before I even got half way through the spell. Should be easier to test out on some one who's already dead.” she said.

With that, she looked back down at her bloodied fingers, and concentrated on it. Her fingertips began to glow green, and soon the blood began to glow. With her other hand, she magicked the blood on the ground into the air and let it fall over the man's shirt and pants. Then she took her glowing fingers and touched the open wound on his neck. Soon, the glow began to spread over his neck, and over the portions of his clothes that were now bloodied. When the glow faded, the light scent of gas began to wift into the air.

.........Okay... so he also had an amusing sense of humor that she could get used to as well. He still had a little bit more work before she decided if she actually liked this guy or not. "Of course." she replied, walking with him to his garage. "Riding through the city is a huge plus compared to my usual means of getting around the city."

.........Gossamer looked over at him silently for a moment, and grinned a bit when he didn't continue with his explanation. "This is probably my living under a rock thinking... but is this "Bat" really that much of a problem that magic couldn't even handle?" she asked.

Then she waited for the laughter or a blank look of shock for her ignorance. If the rooftops "belonged" to someone, then she was sure he must have some notoriety. But... it meant nothing to her as of right now.

.........Gossamer nodded her head and turned her attention back to walking again. "So there are magic users in this City too? That makes things a little more serious. I must say I've never gone against a Demon before." Gossamer replied. then she thought for a moment. "Perhaps a few times would be all I'd need to knock him down a few pegs though. Make the rooftops more accessible."

..........Gossamer nodded as Joker explained. So she might have magic users to deal with at some point... at any given time. If these two cities had merged like this... with people and places she'd never heard of before... or existed to her for that matter.... It was a safe bet that any supers were flipping out with all the new additions to their cities as well. They'd be exploring... the same as she wanted to.

..........When they finally came to the building, Gossamer's gaze found the ice cream truck instantly, and her eyes lit up. ”Now that...” Gossamer said, motioning towards the Ice Cream truck with a smile. ”Looks like it would be fun to take around the town.”

..........Then she paused for a moment in thought, and her smile turned into a grin. ”It would definitely catch everyone's attention in New York though. I'm not sure who all made it to the newly remolded version of the city, or what new faces will be there too... but unless you want to be tailed by the cops or a super, that's not a good one to take to the city.” she mused. Then she smiled and looked back over at Joker. ”Plus... my old boss would have a cow if you parked that anywhere near his building. It would be an eyesore for him, as well as a reason for the costumes to hang around his building.”

..........Her dark eyes then shifted towards the other cars. They lingered for a long moment on the nice little Hurst... but she decided against that one as well. ”That one's pretty... but again, the old man wouldn't appreciate having it parked anywhere near his place. He occasionally creates bodies for those things, he wouldn't want someone thinking he's actually dumping one off somewhere.” she said, pointing towards the car. Her gaze, and finger shifted towards the older looking car with no top. ”That one... is a much better bet than the other two...” she began thoughtfully. ”.... but we'd be out in the open for anyone to see driving down the street. Most of the costumes I know are building level, and they'd be able to spot us easily. I'm not sure about you... but I know a handful that would try to tail me if they seen me out and about.”

..........Then she turned towards the last car and smiled. ”If we're not wanting any uninvited guests following us about... I'd say that one will be the best mode of transportation. Inconspicuous... Blackstone probably wouldn't care if we just parked outside his building... seems like the best bet.” she said, then looked back at Joker and smiled at him again. ”At least for now. If you feel like giving me a tour of your Gotham later, I'm sure we can take one of your other nice little cars.”

.........Gossamer smiled and walked over to the other side of the car. ”Oh yes, wait until you see the 'public' area of his building. Quite a few rare little antiques just sitting about to show off. They're the ones it won't matter if they're damaged, because he has another one locked up, or the “original” hidden somewhere.” she said as she opened the door and gently slid into the passenger's seat. Her smile grew a bit as she sat down and closed the door. The inside was just as pretty as the outside. Definitely something she could get used to.

”Actually... this is so nice... I might be able to get us into Blackstone's private parking lot. I should have the clearance with the guards, and this pretty thing is pretty enough that he'll let it sit in his guarded lot. It'll be first class treatment from that parking lot to his office.” she added.
