As Rin managed to get his neck, Rep recoiled instantly, flashbacks to Sasha running through his mind as pain completely derailed him for just a moment. He yelped out loud and tried to pull away from her. "******** hell." he snarled, but didn't let her go.
Rep's patience was running out and every single part of him screamed for him to summon Tracey, just to summon the ******** axe and shatter some shield. Then he could just pin her and that ******** persistent defiance. He wasn't a question asking kind of guy, he was a question answering kind of guy.
"Whatever ******** happened, it better be huge, I swear to ******** with a very decisive look on his face, he repaid the very sneaky bite in kind - rather unfairly, since he still had her wrist.

Rin could only wriggle with dismay as his teeth tore venomously into her. That was it. She knew she didn't have much if any fight left in her. One more attack like that could render her in serious trouble. She slumped back and turned her head to face away, wordlessly submitting to him. He won.
"W-why do you want to know so ******** mu-much?"

Smirking, he stayed exactly where he was, still pinning her and aware he hadn't felt her shield crack, hadn't managed to injure her yet. It could be a bluff. He haughtily gave her a look. "I want to know because I'm your ******** friend is why. Because I actually give a s**t about what's bothering you."
He walked two fingers up from her cleavage to take hold of her chin and turn her face back to him. "I want to know what was enough to make you go Jane of the jungle, so I can find whatever it ******** was and introduce it to the ******** subtleties of agony."

Rin heaved a heavy sigh as Rep so easily played her and took her attention whether she wanted to give it or not, "You are a b*****d I hope you realize." A simple huffy phrase but one she used more often than not before giving in. But there was a long pause of silence. As if she hadn't actually given in just yet.

Whatever pretence of patience Rep had been displaying went right out the window. "Oh my ******** GOD!" he yelled furiously, doing exactly as he said and literally twisting her arm. Though maybe a little carefully, she only had the one, after all.

"But why do you give a ********?" Breathing was hard and painful now. She could feel the other hunter bearing down on her, her shield beginning to fracture along the edges. She couldn't take much more of this.

"Because you are Rin." he snarled, frustration and irritation at his own incapability of explaining what he meant to her. There'd always been the wall between them, like a shield, keeping them at arm's length, never able to connect without fracturing it, without him tearing her down as if she was his enemy.
"Because you are important." he said, nails biting deeper.
The shield cracked, and he felt it, resting his cheek on her chest like a tiger savouring a kill it was too full to eat, looking up at her. "Because you are mine still. And only I get to ******** hurt you."

Rin felt her shield crumble around her; giving away to Rep and allowing nails to finally bite into her flesh, drawing blood to the surface with surprising ease. She didn't seem frightened by this fact. She was conscious still, a first. She offered a distant sigh of relief. It was hard to remember what it was like to be human sometimes.
"You win," She was breathing deeply and carefully now, each huff clearly causing pain.

Rep eased up the pressure on Rin's skin carefully, far too aware how fragile a thing an unshielded hunter was. If he could accidentally break furniture, he could accidentally break her.
"I know I do." he said, idly trailing a finger through the faint blooms of blood he'd inflicted, possessive but at the same time relaxed. "Now ******** tell me what I want to know. Why are you out here?"
