"So... what exactly happens when all these 'petals' are gathered up? Do we get a wish or something?"
He lowered both his arms, stuffing his hands into his pockets, and slouching forward slightly as he walked. Greaves rang out against the boardwalk, random people rollerblading by him or just running past barefoot and sandled.
He kept an eye out for signs that could point him in the direction of the Marketplace.

"I'm not entirely sure... I know that we go to the Temple of Destiny, those with petals enter, and I can assume that there will be tasks to complete and obsticles to get past once inside, then whoever comes out victorious gets riches, fame, power... that kind of thing..."
By this time, Alexiel had finished her examination of the bell, noticing several etchings in it. She put it back inside her bag before looking up at her new friend, if one could call him that. "Your standard 'Save the World' stuff..."

"Sounds like someone's making us do all the dirty work for them."
The entire thing was suspicious, in fact he still had several dozen questions to be asked... and he doubted that he'd be getting answers any time soon.
On the other hand... money was always nice.
"Right... well, let's head off the boardwalk. The marketplace should be around here some where."

Alexiel nodded, following after him. The Marketplace would be a good place to look, there was no telling what you'd find there.

The boardwalk was still crowded beyond all belief. So much so that the normal route to the gambling district couldn't be taken. "Guess I'll have to cut through the shopping district," the Chauffeur said to hiself, his car going with the flow of traffic.

Fortunately the roads to the marketplace weren't so bad. And so the Chauffeur was off on his detour.

As he stepped out from the marketplace, opaj suddenly found himself amongst throngs of people. He immediately sheathed is katana, letting his left hand stay on the hilt in case he should need it.
Without a second thought, he began to wade through the crowd.

Kit walked through the boardwalk, his eyes were still searching for that spirit, but with no luck. He wondered if the randomness in the world was happening because of it, it seemed logical enough, but most of the going-ons right now seemed illogical for a logical explanation. But then, if logic is illogical... Kit's head started hurt and he stopped trying to figure out anything, it wasn't his business anyways.

Athan set about maneuevering his way through the boardwalk. It was tricky enough initially, but now that a bunch of the kids were aware of his sword, a lot of them swarmed around his legs to see if they could have a touch.
Athan simply ignored them, walking alongside Kit.
(I've got to head out now. Athan's just going to follow Kit...so, you're in charge!)

((******** logic." Kit murmered, finally getting to the end of the boardwalk and his feet landed on the beach.

Allen flew in from the direction of the marketplace. And though he was still in the air, the blood was flowing freely from between the scales of his wings, leaving a steady drip to the ground. Much longer and his wings would become useless. As in, they'd be too damaged to heal.
And so he landed, fairly quickly, the pain obvious on his face. He couldn't unsummon the wings either, not with them this injured. And so he stumbled forward, cursing even as his wings continued to drip blood, though less now that he wasn't actively using them.

Daemon circled down to land on the ground a few feet in front of Allen. Turning his head, he looked at the winged man with one black eye, Allen's figure reflecting in the surface. Dae hopped forward a few inches, turning his head to look at Allen with the other eye. "Ka-caw." <-- Bird sound.

And Allen simply glared at the bird, keeping his bag close to him. Not because of the coin, really, but because he was protective of his stuff. And those birds were known as notorious theives even when they weren't acting unnatural.
"...shoo. I don't have time to deal with you right now..."

Flare didn't call out to Allen when she saw him; she had chosen the right direction indeed. The demoness merely landed beside him. "You're a mess," she commented, as though it needed saying.
"Can you still walk? The jeep seems to have been torn up, and I think it's best to put some distance between ourselves and Vahn."
