۞ The mage listened and followed Lynx a little bit as the man explained where they'd have to go to get into the ruins. Viel just hoped things weren't too late for his comrade. Viel slightly smiled when the man was surprised by the Chocobo that was helping Nix, and let the girl explain about Cho. He nodded his head at Nix when she promised she wouldn't get off Cho. He couldn't risk her getting anymore injuries after just having patched her up.
It seemed everyone was ready, and Viel couldn't help but worry. Hang on kid. He thought to himself as he clenched his fists. The mage walked up to the side of Lynx and stared straight ahead. "All right, Sir Lynx. Please lead the way then." Giving the ok to head out.

Lynx turned and looked at Nix and her gaint yellow-golden bird "A Chocobo? Huh....I've never seen a creature like that before." As he asked both Viel and Nix if there homeland had tons of chocobo's running wild as he walked down the path leading out of his campsite. " We might want to pick up the pace." he said in a firm voice toward both Viel and Nix " Who knows what kind of situation your young company might be in." As he told them both that inside the ruins it was very dangerous especially if your on your own.
He continued to lead the way until finally reaching the end of the dirt path which lead up to a set of stone stairs with gaint pillars on the sides. "The entrance to the ruins is up these stairs" as he stepped upon the stone stairs.

  Tren Ordea
Several minutes went by and Tren slowly began to regain concsiouness. His heart was beating rapidly as panic overwhelmed when he remembered what happened. The boy was entangled in a large glowing wad of of the Phantom Spider's webbing and hung high in a corner of the roof of the tunnel he was deep in. His entire body was covered with the web except for his tail and one eye which allowed him to view a small amount of his scenery. The boy's twin daggers were stuck to his side, but out of hand reach. Tren could barely move or wiggle, and could only mumble to holler for help as he was tightly bound. He drew a small tear out of the eye that wasn't covered as he began to wonder if he was going to die. Big Brother....Big Sister.....I'm so sorry. If the boy wouldn't have let his curiousity get the best of him, he wouldn't have been captured.
The boy had to stay strong though. He had to prove to the others he could. Tren had used up all his energy during Tribal Call previously and barely had the strength to move. He had to try though. It didn't seem like any more of the smaller spiders were around. He focused hard trying to must any energy he might have regained while knocked out. The monkey-boy tried once more to use Tribal Call. Energy and a low amount of adrenaline filled the boy as he scrunched his face with anger and began panting heavily. His animal insticts to attack beginning to fill him. The webbing bound tight, but the boy forced his elbows to stretch the webbing and soon he got enough wiggle room and began tearing and thrashing at the web uncontrollably.
Now in berserk mode, Tren ripped through the sticky web and dropped to the ground. He landed on his feet but they easily gave out on him from lack of energy. The boy was breathing heavily but since he had barely any energy to begin with, the ability was slowly wearing off and draining him again. His daggers had fallen with him, and he slowly walked over to grasp them in his hands. Tren slowly fell to his knees and clutched his stomach. He let out a small whimper of pain. All the spider scratches and bites, over use of energy, and falling, and not to mention the battls on the way to the ruins in the first place, were taking their toll on the young boy's body. He slowly fell over on his side, panting hard to breathe, and closed his eyes awhile to rest.

۞ Viel, along with Cho and Nix, followed the man to a different set of stairs to the path to the ruins. After climbing several bits of debris, old stone structures, there was an area with a small cave like opening up ahead; the very same Tren had been to previously. Even from a bit of a distance the group could tell it was sealed shut. Viel narrowed his eyes in disappointment and hurried to stone wall that was sealing it. The mage began feeling the door all around, hoping for a way to budge it or make it open, but it collapsed from the ceiling to the ground and was impossible to open. "No..." He said sadly to himself. The mage could blow it up, but he couldn't be sure what was on the other side or how thick the wall was.
"Mister Lynx, are there any other entrances to these ruins?" Viel asked with a stern face. In truth the sealed cave looked to be more like an exit than any entrance, but Viel didn't know much of the area or it's history.

As Lynx along with Viel, Nix and her golden-bird company stood in front of the now seal cave. Lynx looked at Viel as he asked if there was any other way to enter the cave, he thought to himself as this was the only entrance he knew off since he never saw the cave sealed before " Sorry Viel" he told him with a shamed look on his face " I've never know the cave entrance to be sealed shut before...Maybe your young company must have activated an old trap which caused the doors to be sealed shut" He turned and looked around trying to see if there was any way to open it. "Can't you use your magic Viel to get it open?" As he stared at Viel.

That's what I've been taught
To be a person who continues to live with this in the heart
Because cσℓσɾs are born within anything and everything inevitable ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Nix followed Viel and Lynx as they made their way towards where they suspected Tren would be. There were certainly some ruins and by the looks of it someone had triggered a trap, closing off an entrance. The downside was there seemed to be no way to open the thick stone door.. A feeling of hopelessness started to settle in her chest, thinking there was no way to reach their friend at all. There had to be another way in, any at all.. The woman rode Cho around the corner of the ruins and searched the walls for any signs of a secret passage. What the silverette ending up finding was something much better. A portion of the wall had crumbled during the many years, making an entrance. Her golden eyes glowed with new found hope as they now had a way to begin their search. "Viel!! Veil, I found a way in!!" Nix yelled loudly so they could hear her from all the way from the front of the ruins. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Where: Tek Ruins

۞ Feeling despair, and slowly beginning to get angry at himself, Viel just pounded a fist against the closed ruin entrance when Lynx said there wasn't any other entrance. He felt like it was too late for Tren, until Nix hollered. The mage slowly walked away from the closed entrance and followed Nix's voice in a hurry far to the side of the ruins structure. As he approached the girl on the chocobo, his eyes widened with slight joy at seeing the crumbled hole. It seemed like a tight squeeze to get through, but Viel forced himself in. He turned back and looked at the others. "Alright, let's hurry before it's too late, but be careful." He said with a nod and began walking through in search of his friend.
۞ Viel looked around and saw a huge square-ish opening. They weren't anywhere near the path that Tren had taken, instead it was more of a dead end with a path leading straight ahead and many tunnels up ahead. Viel waited for the others to get in looked around trying to figure out where they were in comparison to the front of the structure. "Tren could be through any of those paths up ahead, but there's no way to tell which one." Viel said slightly disappointed but determined to look through each one if he had to.

Lynx looked at Viel as he punched the solid ruin entrance doors in anger, thought there has to be another way in to ruins. As lynx heard Nix shout loudly that there was another way into the ruins he followed right be hide Viel to the opening of the ruins wall. " I wonder what part of the ruins this opening leads to. Will we be a great distance from your young company?" As Lynx stepped through the opening to the other side. "Viel will Nix fit through here on here Chocobo?
While he squeezed through making sure not to get stuck since his armor was kind of bulky. Lynx stood in the huge square opening with Viel. "Whoa this place is huge and there's so many different tunnels to take" he said with a astonished look on his face. "Its sort of dark in here Viel....I didn't bring my torch with me...you wouldn't have one by any chance would you?"

The woman reached up to knock some of the loose rocks down to make enough room for Cho to walk inside. "No need to worry, Mr. Lynx. Luckily these walls are old so I was able to make some space for us.. There really are a lot of tunnels. Tren could be anywhere by now." The silverette looked at all the tunnels, trying to see some sort of sign of when way their brother could've gone. A frown came to her face as nothing caught her eye, feeling as if they lost hope yet again.. Then a small 'kweh' caught her attention, her golden eyes looking down at the chocobo. Cho flapped his wings a little as he began to scratch at the ground. The Chocobo looked at one of the tunnels and, without warning, darted down it with Nix in tow. "Cho, what are you doing?! Stop!" Sadly the creature wasn't listening and was following Tren's trail.. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Where: Tek Ruins

۞ Viel pondered which tunnel to take. It was frustrating not knowing where to go. Like a strange book of mazes that if you choose wrong, it could mean the death of a friend, but with no restarts. Suddenly Cho ran past the mage and went down one of the tunnels. Viel watched as Nix seemed to be trying to get the bird to stop, but it wasn't listening. Maybe the Chocobo found something. "Come on, Sir Lynx." He motioned at the man and started to run after Nix and Cho.
۞ The mage hurried down a tunnel that seemed like a normal man made cave or walk way until the mage began to see glowing silk webbing lining some of the walls. This doesn't seem good...what could have made all this? It didn't seem like any normal sized spider could make this much webbing, or even make glowing webs for that matter. Viel continued following Cho's trail either way as they went farther down the path way.

It had been awhile since Tren passed out again, but he felt a little bit of his energy regain. He opened his eyes and made a small yawn and whimper. He tried to move, but his entire body hurt like crazy. He cringed in pain and rolled over to his side. The green haired boy felt terrible, physically and emotionally. Small tears rolled down his cheeks as he thought about how he abandoned his friends, the only family he ever had, and now wondered if he would see them ever again. "I...I'm so sorry...." He said softly to himself and clenched his hands in a half fist and dropped them against the ground.
The silence of the Phantom Spider's lair was unsettling, and Tren thought he heard running steps echoing against the walls. There was faint scuttling and hissing as well, so the boy only assumed that the spiders were returning. He hurried in rolled to his front even though he was in pain and tried crawling away with his arms; his legs were numb and weak still so the boy couldn't stand. With the daggers held lightly in case he would have to fight for his final moments of life, Tren only ended up moving a few inches from his original spot as the sounds were beginning to increase in volume.

Lynx watched as Cho lead Nix down one tunnel and turned back at Viel as he told him to follow him with Nix and Cho. "I'm right be hide you guys " he told Viel as he start to run to catch up to them as his armor clanged with each step he took on the old ruin floor. As he reached Viel and looked at the walls with glowing web on them, Lynx looked around staring at the all the web "What could have made this!? Do you think your other friend has ran into the thing that made these?" As Lynx placed his hand on his sword handle slowly unsheathing it revealing the sharp blade.

۞ "I certainly hope not..." Viel said in reply to Lynx's concern of Tren and whatever had created the strange webbing. As they continued down the path, Viel could see more of the webbing and hear faint scuttling noises. The path ahead seemed to wide in a sort of clearing area that almost had an old concessions sign carved above. This made the mage wonder what this hall was at one time. Up ahead he could see an object laying on the ground, barely moving away from the group. The mage squinted his eyes to see what it was and realized it was their friend.
۞ Viel didn't bother to think of any danger and rushed to the green-haired boy's side and saw him in an exhausted state trying to crawl away. The mage bent down and nudged his friend to make sure he was alright. "Tren?!" He said in a worried manner. It seemed the boy wasn't able to walk, so Viel grabbed the boy by the arms and eventually carried him on his back piggy-back style. "You're going to be alright now, my friend." He said not caring about the noises getting louder.

Tren could hear the sounds getting closer and and his energy wasn't enough to help him crawl away fast enough. His first instinct was to roll to his back and use his daggers to cut the first thing that got near him, but suddenly he heard Viel's voice as he nudged him. The monkey-ish boy dropped his guard and was nearly in tears as his teacher and friend picked him up. Tren felt bad cause his legs were weak at the moment, so others had to carry him.
Tren buried his head against Viel's shoulder and mumbled. I'm sorry Nix that I disobeyed your orders to get Viel.... The guilt had been eating him even when fighting off the spiders. The spiders; that suddenly popped in the boy's mind as he raised his head in panic. "We have to hurry and get out of here. There are these huge spiders that are see through and they've made this place their nest and there's a giant one that I tried to fight but couldn't...." He rushed all the info together before noticing there was some other man in a suit of armor. Tren wondered if this man was one of the army members in this kingdom and whether he was somebody to trust. "Erm, who is that?" He said interrupting his rant about the spiders and pointed at the strange warrior.

Lynx continued to look around at all the webbing on the walls, thinking to himself what kind of creature could have made this? And whatever creature did do all of this if it was only one or possibly more then one? Then Lynx turned around and noticed that Viel had ran head, then Lynx saw what Viel was running toward. It was there missing friend who had gotten lost in the ruins. Lynx removed his sword from his sheath and hurried toward both Viel and the green haired boy who being carried by Viel. As Lynx reached both of them he noticed that the green haired boy was quietly talking to Viel "Maybe the boy was wondering who I am.....or if I can even be trusted just like when Viel first meet me...?" As Lynx thought to himself.
Then Lynx started to hear scudding noises in the distance...as they started to get louder he turned his head toward both of his company's " We should leave this place Viel before we run into what ever lives here...." Then he looked at the green haired boy and ask him " Do you what made these webbing's?" As he turned his back and put up his shield and stood in a defenses stance " Viel I'll watch our rear to make sure nothing sneaks up on you as you carry you friend" he said as he walked backwards watching the hall.
